Great chapter! A few things stood out to me as I read through. But now it seemed reality was about to crash down on his carefully constructed fantasy bubble. Kyan has been wrapped in his own little world since the second he came inside Dayna without a condom. He's just now realizing he has to be an adult. Instead, he avoided the dwindling budget like Gracie avoided a good hair day. Gotta love scapegoat Gracie! 🤣 And then there's Queen Gracie: You go bye-bye, Daddie,” Gracie ordered Go team Gnobois!

I can't believe I actually made page 1 of the comments this time 😳! Gracie stole the show just by being Gracie. I love this description: The money might be a non-issue to Perry, but to Kyan it was a solid shit-kicker, size 13, double-wide. I think the next chapter is going to be interesting when Kyan discovers the extent of how much Perry has been taking care of him and his family. I also have a feeling Trudy and Jed are involved somehow. Owing your own business can be lucrative, but I'm not sure it can support two households, especially one with 4 kids. Perry's house didn't come cheap. @kbois stay safe!

Loved this chapter! So many great points were made. (And not to make waves but your beta was spot on with the comparison between loving Dayna and loving Perry) Then there's this that made me crack up; This wasn’t the hormone-driven kiss of teenagers in the backseat of a beat-up Toyota Corolla For me it was a shit-brown 1977 Buick Regal. 🤣🤣

I feel like I'm always playing catch up! I'm seriously too busy. Anyway. I loved the last few chapters. I have to agree with most everyone. Perry has a lot more on the line. He's been at this longer than Kyan and has been around the gay block a time or two. Hawaii is going to be make it or break or break it. I'm calling it now.

This story held me in a vise-grip from the first word to the last. It's one of the most impactful stories I've ever read. It has a trigger warning for a reason. Very few authors can make me cry. I bawled. Please don't pass this up. It's worth every tear.

A beautiful story about a young man finding his way through life, love, religion and inner peace. Well-written and well worth reading.

I really enjoyed this story. It was one of my favorites. I, too, am one of those who was raised Catholic and have had a falling out with organized religion. The idea of god or a higher power is something that is best left up to an individual in my opinion. You tackled a sensitive subject with grace and gave Stephen a voice with which to express himself. That's important for anyone. Thank you for sharing.

It seems like Perry and Kyan are more than a little comfortable already with sharing a bed. It really isn't a big stretch to picture an "involuntary" cuddle accidently turning into something else. I'm not sold on the whole Max thing. I'm thinking she stole a page from @kbois 's playbook and it's a red herring. A single guy doesn't build a 5 bedroom house 'just because. And no... pineapple does not belong on pizza.

Argh.... I've been without internet for two weeks. Granted, it was totally voluntarily, but it looks like I have some catching up to do. I'm loving the story so far and can't wait to see how things develop between Kyan and Perry. It wasn't an uncle, but my aunt had the school drop-off duty when me and my cousins were kids and went to the same school for a couple of years. This brought back memories; For Noah, Kyan followed the line of cars in the parent drop-off line. Tuck and roll, kiddo.That was it. Easy peasy. "Tuck and roll" was her standard goodbye. Lol. Gracie... ahhh. She is going to be one of those kids who marches to the beat of her own drummer. She's a handful, but of what nobody really knows. 😆 Max. Hmmm. My jury is waiting for more testimony and evidence before making any final decisions. Deliberations may take a chapter or two depending on what @Mrsgnomie has up her sleeve. I'm buckling in for the rest of the ride. I think it might be twisty.

Oof. This story blew me away. So completely heart-wrenching. I believe the Secret Author is truly baring his/her/their soul. So many things struck a chord. My best friend's little brother has Aspergers and luckily was diagnosed early on. Still, he was difficult to relate to. Yes, everything was, and still is on his terms. The reality which the author brings to the table is in your face and accurate. I think we all know someone who has gone low or no contact with a family member. It's never an easy choice. This goes beyond well done. It's brilliant.

I do love a good ghost story. Summer backyard carports weren't complete unless me and my friends tried to out-scare each other with tales from beyond the grave. This was a sad ghost story, but I'm glad Tom was able to help Chris move on.

I'm a little bit behind as I've been working on a big project at work and have had literally no extra minutes in the day whatsoever. What a sad look at the reality of dementia. Not to mention the love that was never allowed to just be what it should have been. Excellent story.

An absolutely hysterical glimpse of an alternate world where some beloved characters (literary and from the GA platform) get to try their luck in a few games of chance. @astone2292 and @kbois have done an incredible job of entertaining us. Pull up your Depends and put down the beverage and get ready to enjoy some fine entertainment. Lots if laughs and downright thigh slapping to be had. Go. Or as kbois likes to say: Shoo!

I've read this another 2 or 3 times. It's just as funny with each read. The little details like weinerdog getting the zoomies crack me up! I find something different that stands out with each read. Once again, fantastic job! Oh, BTW, I'm with @kbois. Coconut is gross. (Sorry @Mrsgnomie! But the suit rocks!)

I'm a little late to the game today but I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. Never heard of Cha$e, but it was close enough to the Amazing Race for me. I'm really looking forward to what comes next. These stories have been so much fun to read!

One of the authors could be the host and characters make up the panel. Do reality shows like the Amazing Race and Survivor count? The Bachelor. Both authors have some pretty hot candidates. Then you've got the good old stand-bys; Jeopardy! The Price is Right. Family Fued. $20,000 Pyramid. Deal or No Deal. If the last couple of paragraphs are foreshadowing then some sort of take on Iron Chef is coming up. So does that mean we might see Ian and Lex involved in some take on Inked? Too. Many. Options!
