Oh wow. There is definitely trouble in paradise. I don’t know who I’m more scared for, Miles, Owen or Troy. Someone needs to make sure the oscillating fan is off or @kbois is going to have a big cleaning bill for the Korner. I need to reread this. Something from a previous chapter is tickling my subconscious but I can’t put a finger on it. fantastic chapter as usual

I feel the opposite. I think this chapter was brilliant and spot on with how kbois writes. Pretty sure that a rather large percentage of readers were hoping for the drama llama to make an appearance and steal the spotlight. The fact that Miles was calm and respectful shows that he’s matured. He acknowledged Owen and didn’t push when he asked Troy to meet for coffee. If Troy had said no, Miles would have left it at that and walked away. Troy is right to stick to his guns, even if it makes Owen uncomfortable. Closure is exactly what he needs. In the end Owen knows that if they are truly going to have a future together then Troy has to have answers to his questions. At least the debate of whether or not Owen knew about Miles has been answered. Obviously Troy him about their relationship, not the nitty gritty specifics, but enough to know how hurt Troy was. By the time he learned of Miles he was long gone and I doubt anyone in a new relationship asks to see pictures of their partners ex so it makes sense that he didn’t know what he looked like. I don’t think the chapter was disjointed either. It’s realistic. In spite of seeing Miles again, Troy held it together and didn’t cause a scene. Life went on while everyone was processing things. The scene at the cafe played out well too. Realistically I dont think jumping into the “why did you leave me" question would have played out very well. Making small talk is normal. It’s the next chapter that scares me.

I think we need to keep the big picture in mind. It’s a given that if there is a potential renewal of a relationship between Miles and Troy it will be vastly different than what they had. At this point it’s still too early to say until we know why Miles really left and if Owen knew about Miles. I’m betting on yes. Even if it’s only in general as in Troy mentioning that he used to have a boyfriend named Miles. It would be hard to keep something like that considering they visit the ranch every summer. Someone is bound to bring up a memory such as “hey remember when Miles almost got crushed in that stampede?” Only the devious author has the answers and the rest of us peons have to sweat it out. All I can do is echo a few other readers. Why do you do this to us @kbois? Why are you like this?

I don’t even know where to start. This chapter packed a punch. Troy is definitely not over Miles and that is going to spell trouble for him and Owen. @kbois what have you done?

I am going out on a limb here but I think the sunsets hold a hidden meaning. Why else would @kbois feature it in the story photo? I’m rooting for a Miles redemption. I think whatever his issue is from the past is going to explain a lot. Also, Miles pussy might be the reason why he gains another 1.5 million followers lol. Great chapter!

Oh my. I’ve been off the site for a long time because of general life stuff going on. How happy am I that @kboishas posted a new story! So far it seems like Troy and Miles have already ridden a huge roller coaster. I can understand why other readers are not in Miles camp. I’m the opposite. I’m rooting for him. I think Miles is misunderstood. Because I’ve gotten to read all the chapters together I think I see a wider perspective (and yes, I stayed up way too late last night catching up) Miles and Troy’s relationship seemed to hit the ground running. With everything going on in their lives they didn’t have time to mature into the relationship. In simplest terms, they had big feelings and not the skills to master them. It takes time and experience to sort through emotions with anything close to clarity. Kids tend to act first then think. That’s exactly what happened to Miles imo. Hopefully their time apart gives them what they need to grow as persons. With age comes experience and the only way to mature is to take those experiences and learn from them. I’m going to root for Miles. I like an underdog. Great story kbois!

Once again @kbois has proven she is worthy of her promotion to Signature Author. This is a great addition to the series and gives many of us closure to one of her most beloved characters. If you haven't read the Hybrid Journey series go do so. It's so worth it!

Omg! What a great addition to the Devil is Gay series! I loved seeing Lucifer, Kage and Gabriel. Great job giving Huntington and Trevor their just dues. Also, I loved this: Immediately, Kage knew Lucifer spoke the truth. It made sense. He was a shadow shifter. What better place to forge a soul of obscurity? Of course Kage was created in he'll, he's always had a touch of bad boy in him. I can't wait for 'Rene' to find his mate!

A short, but very poignant story that packs a punch. Definitely don't pass this one by.

This one ran the gamut of emotions. Love and hate can be two of the strongest ones we humans experience and oftentimes the line between them is mere molecules in thickness. Amazing job!

An excellent story about one young man's road to discovering himself. Well-written and overall a great read revolving around a subject that can often be confusing for many, including those trying to figure out their own gender identity. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent story and well written. I haven't come across very many stories on this site that deal with gender issues. ( @kbois comes to mind) It's difficult to find a story that deals with the topic as well and as educationally as you've done. Great job!

I love the hopefulness of the first poem. It's stunningly beautiful. Depression is a journey that so many people take. It's different for every single one. That you chose to personify yours as a constant black dog companion is such an excellent interpretation. A dog can be a loyal companion or a ferocious enemy. Only it's true master can wield control, yet that control can often be tenuous. I hope your dog is friendly more often than not. Thanks for sharing.

This is a story that should not be missed. @Mikiesboy has woven a masterpiece. I love being engrossed by a plot and this one fits the bill. It's oftentimes sad, but yet hopeful. It's hard to imagine a life lived in the dark underbelly of society, but Tim brings it to the forefront of the story with grace and tact. Congratulations on a truly amazing piece of literature.

What a wonderful ending to an amazing story. I love how some things were left up in the air, like Gwen's life and her partner. It fuels the imagination for us readers. I do hope Maeve is enjoying her retirement and I can envision her still taking care of "her boys" once they're settled in. I imaging she misses them. Thank you for this story. It was an incredible ride.

This chapter touched my heart, especially this one part: "I want that. But now-here, I can't even let you touch me." The word that stands out to me is here. Matt's interactions with Andy are closely associated with Windy Island. I think he's having a hard time with Andy being in his world as opposed to him being in Andy's. As always, stellar writing. Thank you!

These two have a lot to work on if they're ever going to have any type of relationship. I can't see one week being enough to establish a meaningful connection... friendship, sure, but anything else is going to take more therapy on Matt's part. I'm hopeful they make it, and with only one chapter left there are only three scenarios that I can really see. Matt and Andy remain just friends. Matt and Andy don't get a happily ever after. Matt and Andy end up together but it's going to take another time jump. I'm baffled but I totally trust the process because this has been a fantastic story and I'm sure our amazing author will do what he believes is right.

It's nice to see Matt making progress. Therapy is something he really needed and he's growing into his independence nicely. Andy, however, seems to be a hot mess. Thankfully he has Maeve to yank his head out of his keister. She's the glue that's holding him together. Gwen... she still has her issues, but she's coming around. Nothing like blueberry muffins and the anticipation of presents to calm a soul down. Excellent chapter!

This was an eye-opening chapter for Matt. He's making some great strides in his therapy and is on the path to becoming his own person. He's proving to his boss that he's a reliable employee, something that is increasingly rare nowadays. He's learned how to manage Gwen as it appears she is food motivated (Chinese food earlier and muffins this time, plus is sounds like Matt does most of the meal planning, shopping and cooking) His biggest conundrum is Andy and what to do about him. I'm not sure Matt is anywhere near ready for a relationship but I will trust the author and the process. It's been reliable so far.

This chapter was interesting. It shows that Matt is in a transitional period. He's moving forward, slowly, and has to deal with multiple issues-- his mom, a new job and having his past come back to haunt him. A therapist is exactly what he needs. I hope Maria Flores is a good match and can help him sort his head out. He obviously still has Andy and Windy Island on his mind as evidenced by his dream. I can't wait for the final chapters!
