  1. Last year during spring break, Zara and I went to San Diego together. Her mom took us, and everything about it was amazing. But, being the idiots we can be, we would go on shady dating apps, lie about our age, and find parties to go to. We did this about every night of the trip, and during that time, both discovered a liquor we both enjoyed. Malibu. A rum. Cheap and easy, and it went down like candy. Bring it all to the present day, and we still find ourselves buying it from broke dude
  2. This was a great story. Lots of emotions and quite a roller coaster, but ended in a satisfying way.
  3. “Mannnn, you’re really gaining traction on Harrington Now,” Keanu says. He’s leaning against the ice cream counter, his back to the customer line. “People don’t know how to react. LOL.” It’s oddly hot today, and the line had been out the door not too long ago. The three of us are finally catching a moment of dead time. I give it a few more minutes before the masses return. Keanu’s rundown of Monday’s events has been nonstop since it happened. He’s been glued to the stupid gossip site l
  4. Yes! I had a significant brain blockage with that one but hopefully soon
  5. Cooper and Bryan are not friends and haven't been in years. There's been a secret between them that caused them to drift apart, but when the two of them are forced to work together, their old wounds reopen. This time, it brings more drama than ever. Can the two of them face it and reconnect or will the obstacles be the very thing that keeps them from doing so?
  6. The American high school cafeteria is one hell of a place. Depicted in hundreds of shows and movies, and generally shown to be dramatic. But after seeing it up close and personal, the media is quite accurate. Dozens of hormonal teenagers in various groups talking loudly, sweating, chewing, and touching. It should have its own segment on Animal Planet. Some days, I find myself staring at everything and everyone, wondering how the hell I ended up here. Well, it’s obvious how I ended up here.
  7. if Dean is hurt, I will riot!
  8. hmmm. I have a theory about Dean…and Julian. might just be me
  9. you do a really good job at making your character’s voice feel real and unique. love this story so far!
  10. It's been nearly eight years since Nick Linscott saw Ian Reyes, his childhood best friend. The two were inseparable, but Ian left town suddenly, and Nick hadn't heard from him since. So, obviously, his return is just as shocking as the day he left. Nick, expecting to reunite like a scene in a movie, is shocked when the boy who came back is not the same bubbly friend he knew. Ian is cold, harsh, and all the things Nick dislikes. But the two of them keep finding each other in the same spaces, leading Nick to wonder if they'll ever be as close as they once were.
  11. Ian has an ant on his hand. He lets it crawl between his dirty fingers. We just got done having a mud fight in the yard, and Mom was not happy. She came out and, with wide eyes, turned on the hose, spraying the two of us until we were as soaked as the clothes we were wearing. “And take off your shoes!” She screamed before slamming the glass door so hard I saw it wobble. The two of us looked at each other, hair dripping over our eyes, and burst out laughing so hard our stomachs felt l
  12. Either I’m crying, or I’m sweating so much that it’s coming out of my eyes. I guess in a way, it’s crying, but God, I’m tired. My legs ache. My toes cramp. My white socks are now brown and green with dirt and grass stains. My knee is bleeding. I don’t remember when it started bleeding. “Nick! Go wide!” Peter is bolting up the sidelines with the ball steady at his feet. He points and maneuvers around a guy from the other team. I backpedal before moving outwards. My feet shuffle. My ear

    Chapter 4

    losers club!!
  15. SO, here’s the thing. And sure, I’m sure the universe or really just my sister, is looking over my shoulder wondering if I had texted the cute waiter from the restaurant. And the answer is…no. No, I haven’t. I’ve opened up a message, typed something out, and then realized I sound psychotic. But I’ve tried to start a message that makes me seem cool, seem desirable, and not like a total loser. Unfortunately, what ends up happening is a message like, “Hey, help me hide a body?” Psychotic!

  19. Read this at 7 am today and again just now to make sure I got it all the first time. This is great😂
  20. I tighten my tie and then turn to Blair, who is making sure her lipstick is perfect. “Does this look okay?” she asks, pursing her lips in the mirror. “Couldn’t have done it better myself,” I say. “What about me?” She faces me and smooths down my sleeves a bit, adjusting my tie to make it a little less crooked, and smiles. “There we go.” She adjusts her blazer and pushes her hair over her shoulder. “I can’t believe Mom and Dad were on board with this whole uniform thing.” “Y
  21. I really can’t. I love a mess.
  22. Oh I’m here for this.
  23. THERE’S a weird, heavy silence between Draven and me as I tread behind him. I trip on my own feet and stumble a little, but thankfully, he doesn’t see it. This guy decided to start talking to me ten minutes ago, and already I’m a tumbling mess. “Here we are, get on,” he says. I look left, look right, and back at him. “Uh, get o—what am I getting on?” I ask. Because surely it can’t be what it propped up next to him. “That?” He nods. “Yeah, that.” He’s next to a sleek motorcycl
