It's empty, does that count? Do you own a (speeding/parking-)ticket that have not paid yet?

Read this and thought I'd share: Lawyer: Do you recall approximately the time that you examined that body of Mr. Brown? Doctor: It was in the evening. The autopsy started about 8:30 p.m. Lawyer: And Mr. Brown was dead at the time, is that correct? Doctor: No, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was doing an autopsy! The Lawyer ignored this comment and went on Lawyer: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse? Doctor:No. Lawyer: Did you check for blood pressure? Doctor:No. Lawyer: Did you check for breathing? Doctor:No. Lawyer: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy? Doctor:No. Lawyer: How can you be so sure, Doctor? Doctor:Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar. Lawyer: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless? Doctor:Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere.

[DomLuka] ITFB - a co-operative, whilst we wait.
Liddy replied to bodgy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Oh no! Not an other colour or color discussion ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile Reilly was waiting outside patiently, careful not to sit on a cactus while Chey was strolling around with Valentine. Had Dom forgotten about him? Had he not promised he would get laid soon enough? Reilly was the only one who ever did what Dom wanted and, except for borrowing Chey every once in a while, pretty much stayed in his own story. And what did he get for that?! Ugly glasses and asthma attacks! This was going to end today. It was time to take matters in his own hand. If Neo could do it, he could do it too. Valentine and Chey raced for the glasses that Reilly threw into the woods along with his breathalyzer. He ruffled his dark curls, conjured a nice, dark-red shirt that he wore tucked into his tight black leather pants. Biting his lips and rubbing his cheeks to get a little color into them he looked as cute as he felt he always should have. 'Time to get myself a man' Reilly thought, putting a new swagger into his walk. -

"Now stop robbing the Chesley's fridge and get back to work!" Dom said as he entered the kitchen. Travis hated being ordered around but didn't dare argue with his creator Dom. "What am I supposed to do now?" he asked, munching on a tuna sandwich, letting some tuna drip on the floor. "Well first you're going to eating this sandwich properly and not like some pig!" Dom said, ripping the sandwich out of Travis's grasp, considering to take a bite himself but too afraid to get fat. "Then you take some breath mints and then you get out to look for Reilly, who is all alone out there only with Valentine! On Valentine's Day! Get it?" Dom replied angrily, pushing Travis out the kitchen. "You can not be serious!" Travis groaned, shaking his head. "Me and Reilly? That's...no!" "Get out!" Nazi-Dom yelled, throwing the door shut behind Travis watching how the built guy went to find Reilly with sagging shoulders. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I wonder who is in the basement with Dennis now? Owen? Travis's twin? Nobody? I'll let you decide -
Do you have any idea how much you confuse us poor foreigners with discussions like that  . Whenever I wrote colour I'd go back and change it color, thinking it was wrong and whenever I wrote color I'd go back and change it to colour... ...so which SHOULD I use? (Especially if I don't know if the other person is British or American (I learned Australians don't care . Aussies rule. *runs to not get lynched by everybody else*)

@ Ieshwar: you just gave me the best idea for a story. Thank you!

Nobel Prize - you know you earned it. Would you rather confess to your partner you have cheated on him/her or LIE?

you bet The person below me has cried because the hair dresser has messed up his hair cut (you have my sympathy )

Anyone ever heard of Anne Bishop's "the black jewels"? You need a jewel to cause magic which is like your "pool of power". Somebody breaks your jewels -> you loose your power. You have to learn how to control your powers but you don't need to learn spells for that. The more power you have the harder it gets to do magic that needs "detail". You can move a mountain but can't throw a stone. It's also tied to your soul, if your magic is to strong for you you can't use it and then there are different.... ahhhhhhhhh just read the books, they are worth it.

... well... NO! How about he just posted chapter 21? (And 22, 23, 24, (25, 26, 27) while he is on a computer with internet service)

Actually, we started out in his brothers' bar and somebody magically beamed them into Dennis's basement *cough*Kevin*cough*. And I guess we never really got rid of him. ( We can change that though ). -

"Interesting. That doesn't make you straight though!" "I know. But kissing a guy doesn't make me gay either, does it?" Dennis pointed out, taking a step back. "Dennis, we did way more then kissing" Travis replied. "I know and I didn't say I didn't like it. I'm just not sure I want to continue. And as I said. I'm not gay!" Dennis said defensively. "Riiiiiight." Travis said, again raising an eyebrow, this time skeptically. "Anyway (just for you Sharon). This is not about you being gay. This is about you wanting to be with me and not admitting it." Dennis gasped and frowned at that. "I'm going to find Reilly for you. Maybe he can appreciate what I have to offer." -
[DomLuka] Seth from Desert Dropping
Liddy replied to bodgy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Hm, well, I pictured my Seth to be a little chubbyer and his hair is blonder. He talks less. I guess the striking resemblance for me is: 1) The cap 2) The truck So, don't want to disappoint you, but he doesn't really look like my Seth, (but if he looks like your Seth, he isn't that bad, lucky Rory ) Thanks for sharing though, interesting watching a guy getting lost because he had to pee. Aren't you supposed to be naturally good at finding your way? -
I know patience is a virtue. But I'm lacking it. I whish Dom all the best and I can understand that with a new boyfriend sending in a new chapter isn't his top (or bottom) priority, but it's frustrating to know that there are at least four (!) chapters done and ready lazing around on his hardware. You know it's out there. You just can't reach it. (I feel like a three-year old, trying to get to the cookie-jar on the top shelve.)

*scratches head* How did we get from the "Shadow" to Dennis' basement? Ahh, it doesn't matter, I think its time for a love decleration and some heavy duty make-up f**** . But I'm not writing that here, there could be children listening in. So here's mine _________________________________________________________ "We do?" Travis asked uncertainly, fearing what was about to come next. He really liked Dennis, but was he ready to be exclusive with him? With anybody? "I think I should have never done what I did with you. I'm sorry. I really like you but..." "Hold on Dennis." Travis interrupted him, "It's not your fault you know? I kind of led us that way." "I know. I know it's your fault. But I shouldn't have done it anyways. We shouldn't be together." Dennis replied seriously. "But we aren't!" Good job, making everything complicated, Travis thought. "And we shouldn't, you know, get serious." "We shouldn't?" Travis was confused, relieved and...hurt at the same time. HE should have been the one to say that, not Gordon. "Look, maybe you should leave; I'm going to find Reilly." ________________________________________________ This is fun!!! Want More! ( , Dom addiction acting up, even though this is just a substitute drug ) -
Hi, I already introduced myself in the Domaholic forum, so after neglecting the rest of you for a couple of days now, I thought I'd say "hi" here, also. "Hi" There. I did it.

"I...I...I..." Reilly stuttered, looking as if he was about to piss his pants. "Back of blondie, he's on a date!" Travis slowly got up and took position behind Dennis, just in case things would get messy. He knew Dennis could hold his own, but you never knew. "You're on a date?" Dennis asked Reilly, ignoring the "date". Reilly just gripped the hand of the man standing next to him. "Well, its Valentine's day...I thought..." Reilly studdered, looking uncomfortable. "But Reilly!? With him?!?" With whom??? Whoever's up next gets to decide! -
I did not know that! I'm from Germany and the transtaion to log way "Holzweg" and walk the log way "auf dem Holzweg sein" would mean as much as to be on the wrong way. I always automatically assumed that was what the story was about. I didn't even know it didn't make sense in English. Thanks for enlightening me

[DomLuka] DomLuka Trivia - Round 2
Liddy replied to Menzoberranzen's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
1) The hangman-cove at dark and I think he commented on the details of the hangman 2) I think ome stupid neckless that one of them had or didn't have 3) Fudgepacker? 4) He was a spoiled annoying brat who blackmailed his brother. Oh and he was smart, he kept skipping grades and would end up in the same as Aaron 5) I think they slept outside in the dog-house. Or is that another story? Favorite Character: JUDE (Luke is a close second, but they are pretty similar anyways) -
When I moved I didn't have a computer for a while. College hadn't started, but they told us we were allowed to use the computer-lab. I had some catching up to do, because as I just said, I moved and didn't have time to read. When the secretary wanted to lock up the lab I convinced her that this was an emergancy and I really needed the computer only half an hour longer. I felt bad afterwards because she had to work longer so I could finish the chapter. (But you know how it is for a Domaholic: finishing a chapter really IS an emergancy.)

Seems like 4-5 years! I need a Dom-fix!
-
I've been reading Dom's stories since...4 or 5 years(?) now, every single chapter of every story, some more then once. I realized that I'm a Domaholic a long time ago but finally (and this is partly because of the withdrawl from waiting for ITFB 21 (or WT 12)) I'm finally outing myself as a Domaholic. And I'm proud of it!
