Ok couple of things I’ve suspected for a while and confirmed from the last two chapters. 1 David2 is very stoic. Almost military mind set in the determination. This side of David gets done what he sets his mind to. The fact he refers himself to David2 is concerning. I commented earlier that I suspect David might have some type of trauma born disorder ie: schizophrenia. I’m still on the fence there though. Secondly, Tommy is smarter than he lets on. He will figure out what is going on before anyone else. Speaking of Tommy, I’ve wondered where David2 got his proof Tommy is the results of a “”woman who lives at David’s house” and Pastor Pig’s relations. Which brings up my last point, where has David’s father been lately? I feel for Twoey. He’s too sweet to have his heart shattered like that. Hopefully David2’s mission will come to a conclusion soon. Pretty sure Twoey’s mom is going to get frustrated soon and she’s going to press Twoey for answers and Twoey, being as concerned as he is for David, will spill everything. She will pull an intervention soon and will then act by way of Keating.

The van keeps popping up. I think it’s pig fucker driving. I think Sam and Chuck are the only ones in the group who have any situational awareness and is why they’re the only ones who see it. I think Sam was memorizing the license plate. speaking of Sam, his showing David his cutting scars..this saddens me deeply. No teen should ever have to feel this way. Yes David, he needs therapy too. We don’t know Sam enough to know why he’s doing it but I’m grateful the girlfriend is helping by him out. Also, Sam is right. We can’t help ourselves, just others. I too am worried this prank might be too heavy and result into some unwanted consequences. I agree David is unconsciously trying to hook Twoey and Chuck up but I don’t see it happening. David is too oblivious to everyone’s (seemingly except Gary) crush on him. David needs to connect Matty and Chuck.

Twoey just needs to be patient . He’s already domesticating David and David hasn’t a clue. Ok so it’s by phone but so what 🤣 anyway I love that Sam misses NOTHING. Their affectionate moment was heartwarming and affirming for David. good chapter

First of all David needs to take his own advice he gave to Mike. Listen to your heart. Secondly, I worry Gary is slowly separating himself from David. Gary doesn’t seem to be very engaging and supportive as a friend. Maybe it’s just me. Thirdly, perhaps more importantly, these “advisors” David has in his meditation sessions worry me that maybe he’s developing some sort of schizophrenic type disorder. These manifestations are becoming more frequent and he’s listening to them more than his real friends. Finally, the actual discovery of things manhandled in his underwear drawer proving someone has been in there as if they’re searching for something is still perplexing. Could this be another result of a stronger schizophrenic type disorder? David’s ability to switch his emotions off on the quick all of the sudden is concerning when he couldn’t before.

Why the hell did David’s whole interaction between Mike and Twoey and subsequently his little mental dialog at the lake seem like a final goodbye?! Don’t you dare!

OH. MY. GOD. Matty is not going to quit. Also, I swear the jr high ring is just as active and I would NOT be shocked to see if Tommy is involved and gay

Speaking of things not being right, it’s almost a little early for Twoey’s memory to start coming back. I hope David gets his head out of his ass and recognize how much both he and Twoey needs each other. This isn’t going to end well

I think it might be honestly David’s brother. He’s the only one except his parents who’d have access to the house. Unless he let someone in like maybe Eric or Matty. Why is what confuses me. I can’t think of anyone who’d have a reason to poke around unless they’re trying to sneaky a hidden camera in there or something and eww creeper vibes. I guess they could bribe Tommy somehow. He’s old enough to know a thing or two about hanky panky and it wouldn’t shock me to see if he is gay. Being younger looking would make Matt more appealing to Tommy..but still..why bother? Nah. Nothing makes sense. I guess his mother is plausible trying to get dirt on the boy to give to Pastor so he can use it to “cure him” or whatever. Something isn’t right. David needs to trust his intuition.

jess30519 is right in regards to the ocd comments. David doesn’t fit the true profile. However he does have a high discipline drive and function. There’s nothing wrong with having a highly driven need for structure and order. This could however be a form of compensation against anxiety. I think it’s healthy with a few loose strings that he no doubt will correct once they become something that disrupts his order and structure. His denial of his orientation will be a true test and once he learns and accepts he cannot change what he feels for Twoey, he will find life will be easier to control for his health to just accept it. I suspect he not be able to resist Twoey and his defenses will collapse. He will also end up being the one to tell Twoey what happened to Twoey. This will bring them closer. David will be unable to resist it. Matty and martin is hot. Grandpa is a warning flag but David won’t leave Twoey. I sense gramps is sees what Sam sees in David. He will also defend David against his parents.

David needs to visit Twoey in the hospital.

Skinny, i grew up south of Syracuse. I also know what it’s like to lose students in my class at 15. I can relate to David. I was basically him except not xcountry. Wrestling was my sport. That is of course until I lost a friend. We had been messing around sexually and one day he committed suicide in front of me. I walked away from it all sports. We would lose more later

This needs a girlfriend to fix him mentality is the exact opposite of what is needed. Twoey should’ve said already that he knows Cathy isn’t what David is interested in so “forcing him” for a lack of better phrase is the worse possible thing to do. I think it was Sam or Danny though that said David needs someone to care for. Everybody missed the clue why David snapped in the first place. David included. David cares for Twoey. Even Twoey doesn’t recognize it. Twoey is the fix. But in order to see it there needs to be another failure at this point so I guess bring on Cathy. Hopefully David won’t ostracize himself from everyone bc I think he’s close to doing just that

First time reading your stories. I enjoy the back and forth between David and Twoey, reading from both of their mindsets. It provides a great perception. I must say growing up in CNY I can definitely relate to the weather. Your descriptions of Syracuse are on point.

It’s a shame you have decided to no longer write for GA. This was a wonderful story. Please do not remove any of your works as I love reading them over and over.

I think you’ve captured Comsi’s ability to leave us wanting more. This is a great start to his Vision. It’s almost like we’re picking off where we left off. Great job.
