Hmmm. The wkend get away was very nice. Lots of growth there. As for Karen, I think what she meant was temporary. I think she wants to heal with Aiden and THAT’s what she means . I seriously think she approves of Owen’s and Aiden’s relationship, but the current priority needs to be theirs. I don’t think she’s being selfish so much as I think she’s trying to fix the mistakes she made and to do that he shouldn’t be distracted. What I don’t think is that she thinks he can balance being out and Owen at school and her drama. SHE’s the one who fucked up. She’s the one who needs to make the bigger sacrifices.

Sigh, the ripple effect of abuse affects so many people in the victim’s circle but so few know how to help especially when the victim cannot talk about what happened. Intervention is needed immediately but the knowledge of the abuse to know the exactly what happened can only be shared by the one who’s most damaged by it and when they don’t want to face it or are scared to, often times intervention is too late and the victim takes a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I know this because I was both a victim in one abuse situation and a witness to another’s self destruction before anyone knew anything.

I wish i could understand how a parent could be so cruel to their own child. 😔

I thought that at the school dance

The only word that accurately describes Janey is cunt. She knows exactly what shes doing. She was in denial. When Aiden first came out to her for her own selfish infatuation. Once Owen came along and she saw it was him who created the perceived threat to “her” Aiden, did she really start to lose her mind. I worry however about Adam. His reaction was hard to gauge. At first I wanted to think he’s of the same mentality as Janey being siblings. But the fact that he’s fine with the Leo and Ben throws me off. Maybe he’s not as close to them and doesn’t care as much with them. Part of me worries about HIS reaction once Aiden and Owen come out together. That will happen.

That was my take. Very manipulative. Ima way, it’s a good thing he died before their relationship spun out of control and things REALLY blew up. Just imagine if Owen tried to break it off and Dan acted like Janey.

I see the game Bree and Jude are playing. It’s the only way Jude can see Quinn. I think Bree knows without being told. At least way more than mom does although I suspect she’s aware too. I wouldn’t be shocked if she found Quinn’s journal and after seeing the moochy pic between Jude and Quinn, decided it best to leave it be. Swapping pornos for a soccer sports mag for a closeted gay boy is one thing. Confiscating his journal is an entirely different matter and wager she knew that in advance.

Will and Miles are spot on. Quinn’s mom is not present. When she is, she doesn’t listen for his side of the story before dropping the hammer and doling out punishment. Jude is beginning to really win me over. Brad and Mar, will likely hook up but I dunno if it’ll last. THOSE friends seem 💯 superficial to me because they too don’t listen. They too also judge before hearing Quinn’s side. Granted, Quinn hasn’t helped one bit. Unfortunately I am beginning to feel like Bree could guilty of doing the same.

Ok I was worried things were going to take this turn. I actually expected Quinn to punch Taylor at the theater. I didn’t expect him to punch Brad. Before this chapter I would’ve said Quinn was really starting to sound like Marissa at this point and while completely justified in doing so, it begin to negatively affect his life. Now however, he’s starting to snap. Everyone is justified in being concerned. Great chapter.

But that’s what a confused gay closeted teenager does. They waffle and live in denial until they accept it. Quinn is almost about to give in. It might be out of shear frustration at the inability to resist it, but it doesn’t matter. All Quinn needs is a push and a supporting endorsement so he doesn’t feel terrifyingly alone. I think Jude is that person but since he’s still new to Quinn, Quinn is terrified of the reaction of those he loves most, his family. I think however, he has nothing to be afraid of with them. Jude isn’t going anywhere. I DO think however, that he and Cameraboy have history. Perhaps they’re ex’s. I think that Jude is a better softer fit for Quinn. From what I’ve seen, Cameraboy (can’t remember his name) isn’t after a relationship. He’s after a boy toy and thinks Quinn might fit..pun intended lol 😂. Anyway, I think things work out but not without some fallout. I think Brad and Bree hook up. I think Mar falls off her pedestal. This was a great chapter. I enjoyed the banter between the 3. Jude certainly has Quinn figured out. Quinn however hadn’t a clue about himself or Jude. I think after the dinner table conversation, Bree might be putting things together too. She knows her brother better that Quinn does himself.
