Kudos to Ronyx. Awesome chapter. Kudos to Owen in convincing the others Neil didn’t do anything they haven’t done themselves and that Lucas’s obsession for retaliation is wrong. Speaking of Lucas, the boy needs help and I don’t think he will get it. Not in time anyway. I’m afraid for Neil. Lucas too for that matter. If he had only 1/3 of the family support Neil has there wouldn’t be this problem. Now it’s not if but when. The other shoe is gonna drop and soon and there will be a lot of fireworks when it does

I’ve had to come back to my comment after rereading this chapter. I obviously meant whoever pushed Robbie not Nathan. Anyway, so long as you don’t drop off the grid and never finish the story Dodger, I wouldn’t worry about replying to every comment. I think Robbie is me mentally ready to move on from Nathan and has been for a while now. I’m ready for Robbie to finally be in a healthy relationship with Rory and see them both bloom. Robbie is waiting for Nathan to end it or him to cheat on him and that be his excuse. Neither will happen. Robbie just needs to do it. I can’t help but wonder if Miranda has been or knows the connecting missing link between Robbie being pushed, Stephanie being manipulative, and somehow they all tie in to Symmonds and that mess

Such a beautiful boy. Such a sad story. I don’t remember when or how or anything magical so to speak why Jonathan became a crush to me. I just feel for him. Always thought he was gorgeous. His facial symmetry, skin tones, freckles, eye color, hair..but what really suckered me was the softness of his eyes and lips. Ugh. I just knew he had a huge heart and very kissable lips..which of course made me wonder about what ELSE might be soft and kissable 😘😋 sigh..there were other boys back when I was that age too but nobody captivated me like he did.

A young 14-15yo Jonathan Brandis and maybe even Leonardo DiCaprio at that age for that matter. Mm

See my last comment above yours. Unfortunately we lost Com almost a year ago now. Check out his Magnum Opus Gone From Daylight. There are BOOKS in that series which are numbered so pay attention to that to keep order. Also my personal favorite of his My Only Escape. It’s essentially his teenage testimony. It’s deep. Bring tissues.

Sigh…Neil’s thoughts worry me. They teeter on the edge of a very dangerous path. That said, he showed very surprising strength stopping Sam. I was afraid that would happen just as it played out. That little battle between Sam and Lucas is FAR from over. She’s going to put him in his place and unfortunately in doing so I fear it’ll only make things worse for the short term for Neil. Speaking of Lucas, dear ole granny is a bit abusive herself. Seems that’s where Lucas learned it’s ok. I also fear as others have stated that she might be right and Lucas will be the death of her. If that happens, what a twist it would be if Neil of all people, takes immense sympathy on Lucas and they come to a much closer respect and understanding of each other. I could see if Granny has a heart attack and it crushes Lucas and he has a sobering “come to Jesus” moment about his behavior realizing he had nobody left and in his pain amps up his vitriol on Neil and Neil, is seriously hurt by him physically waking Lucas up even more. Anywho..kudos Ronyx. You’re a awesome story writer

Good chapter ronyx. I noticed Owen has made himself scare too. I suspect he’s doing some soul searching. Hopefully, in doing so, he’ll see what an absolute dick Lucas is and how brainless his followers are. I also suspect Sam is going to get in Lucas’s face yet and will do so in front of the new teacher’s presence.

Rereading the story and up to this chapter I still think the same thing. I don’t think Justin even realized what he did saving Fallon like that.

If you remember, Alex looked back at Lucas when he made that snide comment about Neil just as class was beginning and I think that might be an indicator that Alex might be one to stand up against Lucas and for Neil. I sounds like Alex has a good heart and so does his brother. I also think Owen is seeing what damage he’s caused to Neil and now might do the same once he gets his courage . Neil doesn’t know it yet but has those 3 plus Sam in his corner. Not counting that new teacher.

Great chapter. The Miranda angle is the only curve ball. I think she knows something but what? I do think that there’s way more to this Stephanie story. I wish the investigation would finish with who ever pushed Nathan too. That’s never been finished. Could it be Matthew doing Simmond’s or his father’s bidding. Yes even back then. Anything is possible. I think Robby is finally picking up on Nathan’s manipulation. It’s too early for Rory to change is song just yet.

This and others ie: Al and a host of there are probably on the pulse here regarding the major characters developing for this story so far. Kudos @ronyx for another one that has me hooked immediately

I think Nathan going out to Vancouver will be the final nail in the coffin for Robbie and him. I think the split will be mutual and permanent. Robby & Rory will be free to get serious then. I do think there will be a mutual jack off session before Nathan leaves I expect and that’s when they’ll finally open up about how they truly feel for each other. i also think that Daniel was very worked up about the possibility of Matthew being abused. I don’t think he’s gonna let that go and he’ll stir the pot a bit

Man I wish Comsi could see this mid chapter comment. I loved the monologue of Justin’s thoughts spawning from his interaction with Dion. I can see the parallel of living the gay life and fleetingly wishing for life before coming out. But, it isn’t just that. As with Comsi’s other stories especially My Only Escape, there’s the nostalgia of life before trauma. Yeah bud, I feel that way too. Sigh. Damn I miss you dude.

Second time reading this work. I totally forgot about the boat scene when Max exited the bathroom. I busted out loud laughing as I listened with the text to speech option via ear buds. Hilarious.
