    Chapter 11

Minister without portfolio is an excellent analogy. Only time will tell if he founds a vampire charity or not. Like many lottery winners, Greg finds himself in a world that is so different from anything he's ever imagined, and it will take time for him to adjust. I have faith that he and Leonard will find middle ground I read somewhere that one of the biggest mistakes an author can make is killing off, or not killing off, a character when it advances the story. I hope I'm not foreshadowing, but I hope I'm strong enough to make the right choice if I'm ever faced with it.

    Chapter 11

Things can't be perfect forever. I'm glad that I'm teaching 'vampire 101' in nice, easy doses. If you like, I could put out a chapter that reads like a textbook? I could introduce you, but then I'd have to kill you. Definitely things to consider before going out and changing everyone you meet. Leonard's a great guy, just a bit formal. You'll see more of that...

    Chapter 11

Roughly two to three hours after the author finds the path down from the cliff. All kidding aside, I'm posting as I write, so there is no schedule. Fortunately, for this story, I have the original as a general guide from which to work.

Greg was nowhere near a cliff; he was in a hospital!

Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of authors. The Shadow knows! Tune in next chapter to find out how our heroes escape this perilous predicament. Same vampire book; same vampire channel.

    Chapter 11

When we parked in the courtyard, Billy came running out, followed by a redheaded man who stood just a few inches taller than Billy’s 5’6” and was as wide as Tommy; the smile on Tommy’s face told me this was Leonard. Before Tommy could grab it, I opened our door, and we started piling out. After he gave me a comment about letting me do his job, I told Tommy he was officially off duty and instructed him to take care of his mate. I could tell he wanted to argue, but he resisted the urge, turned aro

    Chapter 10

Once the stress of their lives being in danger had passed, we endured another half hour of interrogation about several things, from the logical to the insane. Brian even had the nerve to ask if we sparkled, which literally caused Tommy to growl. Since Chris already had most of his questions answered, he quietly cleared the table and started cleaning up the kitchen. Scott noticed and went to help him as Tommy and I continued to field the questions. Of course, Josh asked the inevitable: would I sh

    Chapter 9

Totally valid. Regardless if they age or not, vampires, if they choose to renew, will face the loss of loved ones throughout their lives. Those who renew will see it more, but those who don't will still live roughly 150 years and outlive all their human friends.

    Chapter 9

You seem to have forgotten how vampires age. Greg will age just like his buddies until they die, or he renews. Or did I misunderstand your comment?

    Chapter 9

I think that Greg was going to tell them, and seeing that, Tommy stepped in to protect Greg from the Council. We'll never know though, will we? OH, did I mention that James reveals a time machine in chapter ten and they all go back a week for a do-over?

    Chapter 8

I'm working on it and posting as they're done, so there's no schedule. Sometimes it's a week between chapters, sometimes two, and sometimes it's only a few days. It just depends on how the story hits me.

    Chapter 9

After a great dinner at a locally owned steak house, we returned to Scott’s house to relax for the evening. Having to deal with court and the bank had kept me busy all day, and I hadn’t had time to think about what I was going to tell the guys tomorrow. Now, as I began to focus on it, my stress levels began to rise. Tommy was using Scott's computer to arrange something related to security, and Donna had decided to drive back to the farm to spend the evening with some friends. James was sitt

    Chapter 8

I was still struggling to find sleep when I felt Scott climb into bed that night. In an unusual move, he slid in behind me and held me rather than his usual role as the little spoon. I quickly felt sleep overtaking me. When I woke, Scott was still wrapped around me. I resisted the temptation to ignore our alarm and slipped out of his grasp. One temptation I couldn’t resist was Scott’s beautiful face. I leaned in and gently kissed his lips. When he responded, I pulled back. “No time for that

You read it wrong, @raven1 Greg is in an Escalade, at least until the Denali shows up. All kidding aside, thank you so much for your ongoing kind words about my ongoing words. Many times, the support of those following my stories has raised my spirits through some recent rough times.
