I made an edit to add " to open a quote and also changed 'babies' to the singular. Neither edit changes anything substantial. Should I comment when I make changes like this? I will NEVER change a chapter's story once it's posted.

Well, chapter 2 was long enough. It should have been 3 chapters, and I'm sure there was another long one, so nya nya nya... LOL You're right, I just pulled the number from memory without checking, 104 plus epilogue.

The original was 108 chapters and comparing the overall storyline, we are currently somewhere around chapter 3, so pack a lunch for this trip.

I'm working on it. I have the original as a guide, so I'm mostly struggling with where it has strayed and creating segments to keep it on track, or find the new track.

After lunch, Leonard took Chris and Jake to the airport while Billy took Scott and me into the library to show us a few books he had found. No, dealing with several personal issues. Add to it, I kinda lost this story and my 'muse.' If I find the latter, I'll most likely find it for New Reality before Lone Wolf Ranch, as I have the original as a guide.

@Sir Galahad My issue had nothing to do with the assumption that everyone knew of this. Maybe I'm just too thin-skinned to be an author, but when comments seem directed at me rather than my writing, it throws me off my writing. I haven't written a word since this exchange. That said, Dragon and I had a conversation in private, and for my part, the issue is closed. Please, let's not hash this out in comments and detract from the story.

Fortunately, in my fantasy world, it is more of a choice of names for a supposedly dead pantheon of gods. As such, Jove was the name used by his worshippers in antiquity, while Jupiter is the more modern choice.

I'm humbled. If you talk to my Editor/Co-Author/Beta-Reader/Man Friday, he'll confirm that I am constantly asking: "Does this flow right?" "Is this too detailed?" Most of the time, his reply is 'leave it as is'.
