Thank you so much. I really did enjoy writing it once I got rolling. I was concerned about the quick back and forth between the scene POVs of Connor and Dakota during their chase. Once I finished it and read it, I really loved it.

Sadly, nothing in life is easy, and every action we take has consequences. Hopefully, Greg will make the right choice; only time will tell.

Sleep did not clear Dakota’s mind, nor did the conversation at breakfast. Now, as he and Robin started for the Lone Wolf Ranch, his thoughts were torn between the strange boy he’d seen last night and the words Shamus had said about the origins of skinwalkers. He wasn’t even sure the term skinwalker was the right word to use now that he had this new information. After ten minutes of riding in silence, Robin spoke up. “Your run last night doesn’t seem to have helped. If anything, you seem even m

As we approached the house, we shifted into human form. I was reaching for the front door when it opened. Mary stood there, glaring at us. “Get yer arses around back! Baron or no, you track mud into my front room, I’ll tan yer hide.” We instantly replied with ‘Yes, ma’am’ or ‘Yes, Grandma.’ We did an about-face and headed around the house. When we were rounding the garage, Tommy joked, “Maybe I do have to protect you from her, Greg.” We were all still laughing as we entered the shower

When I stopped feeding and licked the wound so it would heal, I looked up to find Scott and Billy sitting with us and enjoying some wine. As my mind cleared, I heard Scott and James discussing how I was learning and James suggesting that Scott try it. Taking James’ other wrist, Scott dropped his fangs and bit. Several minutes later, he released the wrist, licked the wound, and looked up. “I couldn’t do it, Dad. I guess it has to do with him being a changeling and your mental connection.”

Too lazy to separate these things so here goes. Hmm, a car accident... sounds tempting... <evil grin> As to the others, the steak sounds fine, but the sauces... Sadly I'm keto, and have lost 80 lbs, so I have to pass on the sauce... And I have to pass on the other sauce, as Connor, Shamus, and I share an issue. ODAT for me.

Thanks for the kind words. The story never got dropped per se, just the author had real life issues, as well as some block I'm still struggling with.

Dakota Dakota was lost in thought as he drove out of town. So lost that Robin insisted he pull into the parking lot of the grocery store and let him drive after watching Dakota drive through two traffic lights that were red. When Dakota parked, Robin got an idea. Rather than jump in the driver’s seat, he told Dakota to follow. He went inside, grabbed a cart, and headed for the meat section. Picking out four large steaks, he put them into the cart, then turned back and grabbed a l

Scott led Billy and me to our room and… ‘Our room’; I still can’t get over that! Anyway, once we were in our room, they took turns explaining that vampires are creatures with two natures and three shapes. The first shape is their, er our, human form. Scott had already explained how vampires are born in this form and spend the first four years of their lives feeding from their parents. The second form was what I'd witnessed when Scott fed from Donna: an embodiment of the classic vampire tale

Not sure where you got the idea that I was in school, but I'll take it.

“Put him down!” I shouted at Tommy, then I turned to Chris and added, “And you, calm the fuck down.” I wasn’t surprised when Tommy obeyed my command. He instantly lowered Chris until his feet were solidly on the floor and relaxed his grip to allow him to breathe. I wasn’t surprised when he continued to stand between Chris and me. I was surprised when Chris went from being as mean as a caged lion to being as meek as a kitten in less than a second. I didn’t understand how or why he had calmed

LOVE the Dick Cheney reference for us old folks!! So I see another story developing? "The adventures of Seth and Glenn" Wonder if shifting would heal Seth's injuries... Inquiring minds want to know the details of your universe!

Shouldn't that be ''the wolf's out of the bag"?

I'm wondering about it too. We'll have to wait and see what comes. Thank you so much for the kind words. They're greatly needed after the week I've had.

I'm in good company! We'll decorate and add a room for some others that will be joining us!

Connor “I’m going to have the hired hands finish bringing in the hay tomorrow. I think it’s time all the pups around here get a solid knowledge of the history and legends of shifters. I’ve asked Drake to spend the day in my library with all of you. He can give you some insights you won’t find in the manuscripts.” Shamus looked at Connor and Ronin and added, “I called Otto Bjornberg. He said you boys are welcome to drop by Wednesday morning. He hinted that you could have lunch with t

HEY!!! I'm the comedian around here. :P

My head whipped around to look at James so fast I swear I heard a crack. I knew my mouth was hanging open, and I could feel my eyes trying to pop from their sockets. This had to be a joke. James and Donna came up with this as a way to help me relax and adjust to being a vampire. That had to be it. I have to admit, getting everyone to go along with it so quickly showed a lot of organizational skills. As if he were reading my mind, James slowly shook his head. “This is not a joke, Greg. I lik
