  1. Thanks. Anything is possible, I suppose.
  2. I guess you have to take what is given to you.
  3. In this story, yes, that is one possible option. Isn't it nice to know there may be a dead guy hiding inside you? 😇

    In The End

Not familiar with that PSB song, mostly know them from their 'West End Girls.' I'm not familiar with any comedy programme associated with them, though. The continuation, I hope will be as successful.
  5. Hello again. It's been a while since I've been here, but I finally made it back. Let me reintroduce myself. My name is, or maybe was, Frank Garnet. My friends called me Red. I died a few months ago, your time. I said I'd be back if I could. Well, 'lo and behold, it is possible to come back. Sort of. But let me start at the beginning. Or should I say the end. Of my life, that is. The light went out, but it was only off momentarily. Apparently, it only takes a few seconds to transition to the
  6. This is a continuation of my previous story, 'On My Deathbed.' In that story, Red says "I hope I’m wrong about there being nothing else. I’m a determined old bastard, so if I can let you all know there’s something else, I’ll damn well try", and "I think this is it for me. I’ll be back if I ca..." The incomplete word being can, obviously. You probably don't need to read that first to enjoy this one, but it's short, only 1,164 words.

You're welcome. The timing wasn't intentional. Actually, when I picked this back up, none of the second half was planned more than maybe a day in advance of its writing. I look forward to writing them!

Thanks. The positive feedback is great, and one reason I’m making it a series.

Thanks. But the loss was temporary. I’ll only say the kids’ abilities are all different.

You’re welcome. Thanks for loving it!

    In The End

Thanks. If I don’t keep it interesting, nobody will read it.

    In The End

You’re welcome. I’m happy, and I’m not quite done with this family just yet. A couple shorties to get out of the way first, then off to Noonan-land.
  13. I’ll take either, or both.

    Chapter 41 S2

They could always make it look like the doctors all died in separate bear or mountain lion attacks. 😁

All great ideas for the sequels. Although, my current thinking is they're focused on Avery's children, but he can't be completely absent.

    In The End

Thanks. I think it was kind of sudden, but then, that seems to be one of my trademarks.
  18. Very wrong. I'm a bottom. Oh, did I say that out loud?
  19. I'm glad I have as well. It's been a great experience, both from a reading and writing perspective. I like watching my climb among the authors' stats. 71st in total words, at the moment. Not bad out of (I think) 1060.
  20. I can only hope both sides were lying. Thanks for the accolades. Unique is definitely goo. Who wants the same stories retold over and over? Oh, yeah, movie makers.

I tried so hard and got so far But in the end, it doesn't even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end, it doesn't even matter Linkin Park - 2000 22 They were obviously all concerned. I shut down like a slamming door. One second, I was part of the conversation; the next, I was part of the furniture. Needless to say, Lindy was the most concerned. The emotional roller-coaster ride I just took caused me to blow a fuse, but all the lights went out. I was rushed to

    Chapter 41 S2

The recovery begins and as everyone mentioned above, concerns out the wazoo. Regarding a faith healer, I must paraphrase a movie line: Lord, it's a miracle! Man’s injuries up and vanished like a fart in the wind!

    Chapter 8

I was expecting slightly more of a cliffhanger as I neared the end. I was thinking the scholar would say he knew where the place was and end the chapter there. I guess since they still don't know what's in the temple, it's still somewhat of a cliffhanger.
  24. I'm not necessarily trying to stop this discussion but considering we're looking at events 37 years into the future, none of the current rules necessarily apply, and perhaps this won't even be an issue for this story. Read the spoiler if you want to know in advance which way it goes. Although you'll find out tomorrow anyway.
  25. Happenstance. I wanted to indicate that maybe the "smart" microwave wasn't genius material, like his nemesis more obviously isn't.
