    Agreed on the better now than later. It would be quite difficult for Peter as well. Daddy won't be gay, and you'll get a glimpse of his attitude in the next chapter before he disappears forever (in the story, not killing him off).

    I loved the “what are you 12” comment. Mom’s a homophobe, Rebecca is a woman scorned, Aaron Jr saw it coming. But what about dad? We shall see.

    I like it when my twists are unexpected. To be honest, when I started the story, after indicating in the original's epilogue that Avery had seven grandchildren, I didn't envision any being gay.

    Well, it's mostly because I'm writing now and it's still prevalent. If I wrote what I thought/hoped the future would really look like, it might be more tame.

    I prefer Wilsonland, but yeah, rarely smooth is pretty much my MO. There may be bumps along the way, but there’s usually a mostly HEA in the end. Unlike the real world. Will that be the case here? There are still a few chapters left before that answer arrives. Targeting Christmas day or eve for the finale.

    I implied he told Rebecca in a previous chapter: Excited, she queried, "You got the job?" "Not exactly, but my predictions got me another day in Miami. I'll be going back in tonight, tomorrow, and Friday morning at least, to monitor Natalie with them." "That's awesome. I'll want to hear all about it." Yeah, I was going to make him start on Sunday the first but then figured HR wouldn’t be there on a Sunday. I cheated rather than rewrote.
