  1. Agreed on the better now than later. It would be quite difficult for Peter as well. Daddy won't be gay, and you'll get a glimpse of his attitude in the next chapter before he disappears forever (in the story, not killing him off).
  2. Thanks. You may be in the minority, but not alone. A few others prefered the first ending as well.
  3. I loved the “what are you 12” comment. Mom’s a homophobe, Rebecca is a woman scorned, Aaron Jr saw it coming. But what about dad? We shall see.
  4. My wife watches Perry most nights. Maybe I pick some up by osmosis. Although that show jumps from witness to witness pretty quick.
  5. You’d be wasting your time, feet aren’t ticklish. Now the sides of my ribs, that’s another story.

    Chapter 1

This is the kind of thing that makes the kid come back to school and start shooting. Let’s hope @Ronyx doesn’t have that planned.
  7. Twist good, shitty bad. Although in his defense, breaking it off sooner rather than later was probably better. Aaron, yeah. He could have handled it better.
  8. I guess it will. I mean, I’m not one to treat my main characters badly, am I? Oh, wait. I guess I have.
  9. I like it when my twists are unexpected. To be honest, when I started the story, after indicating in the original's epilogue that Avery had seven grandchildren, I didn't envision any being gay.
  10. I guess we'll test that hope in the next chapter.
  11. Well, it's mostly because I'm writing now and it's still prevalent. If I wrote what I thought/hoped the future would really look like, it might be more tame.
  12. Elf, blech. Will Ferrell, double blech.
  13. Life can be very cruel. So, I am too!
  14. At home, in public, either way, Rebecca would have thrown a fit. Not promising at all. Maybe if Aaron played some golden showers, it would have been easier for Peter to predict.
  15. Well, if you saw it coming, it wouldn't have been as much fun for me! How it goes? It goes, that's all I'll say.
  16. Yesterday it seemed to me My life was nothing more than wasted time But here today you've softly changed my mind Baby, what a big surprise Right before my very eyes Chicago - 1977 20 Since I didn't need to send any furniture from Texas, and I guess a television isn't really furniture, taking everything out of the Carlton's on Sunday didn't take very long. Aaron had an SUV, and everything was moved in two trips. I had sold my car before I left, the new owner picked it up Fr
  17. I agree with @Bill W, A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. And Scrooged with Bill Murray. Love David Johannson as the ghost of Christmaa past. Feelin’ hot, hot, hot. Oh, and Die Hard is a Christmas Action movie. It CAN be mote than one genre.
  18. I prefer Wilsonland, but yeah, rarely smooth is pretty much my MO. There may be bumps along the way, but there’s usually a mostly HEA in the end. Unlike the real world. Will that be the case here? There are still a few chapters left before that answer arrives. Targeting Christmas day or eve for the finale.
  19. I’ll lessen the stress, nothing bad happens to Peter physically.
  20. In my world? A lot. Pull the lap bar down tight, we’re approaching the first big drop on the Lee Wilson roller coaster.
  21. Thanks. Yes, he definitely found someone. Liking someone can be fleeting. Even love can be rescinded for all the wrong reasons. Never being back in Texas: Foreshadowing? Me? Never! Oh, wait. I did some foreshadowing right here in this response. But you’ll all have to wait until Monday to see what that’s about!
  22. I implied he told Rebecca in a previous chapter: Excited, she queried, "You got the job?" "Not exactly, but my predictions got me another day in Miami. I'll be going back in tonight, tomorrow, and Friday morning at least, to monitor Natalie with them." "That's awesome. I'll want to hear all about it." Yeah, I was going to make him start on Sunday the first but then figured HR wouldn’t be there on a Sunday. I cheated rather than rewrote.
  23. No plans aside from over water based storms. If you recall, he had his epiphany while watching a snow storm forecast.
  24. All good questions to be looked into on Monday.
  25. Too calming, perhaps?
