  1. Both observations are completely accurate and reasonable. Hold that thought. This is true, there are many criteria that must match, and finding one that does match can take an awful long time. Another 'hold that thought' item. On its way. He's in the right place to get these.
  2. Tuesday Rocky's alarm started trying to wake him at the ridiculously early hour of six-forty-five. His parents had programmed it to get gradually louder and only snooze three minutes at a time. It was still five to seven before Rocky actually made it out of bed. After a quick shower, he dressed in what he thought was his coolest outfit: tan khaki pants, his white Nike 'Fired Up' T-shirt, and his red, black, and white Air Jordan shoes. He didn't want to look like a geek on his first day of s

    AWESOME NEWS!!
  4. I literally lol’d at the cartoon. It was otterly ridiculous. Me too. But how many of us here love Queens? Okay, just one more Lee Wilson awfully bad pun. I apologize. Not!!!

    Chapter 57

That would probably make him tongue tired.
  6. I feel your pain. Moved from PA to GA partially to do with weather. No physical issues, but that doesn’t mean I like the cold.

    Chapter 57

Whoa. Didn’t see that coming. Good for you Bryan. @John Henry any chance you can write in that Calvin lost an eye due to Bryan’s perfect strike? Or maybe suffered brain damage. Well, more brain damaged than he already was?
  8. I think I’ll proofread chapter 15 again without my glasses and make a whole bunch of updates. Then we’ll see who needs glasses.
  9. Warmer, good. Wetter, not so much. I’m not quite in Florida, but humidity still way higher here than Arizona.
  10. Ain’t no cure for the wintertime blues. Sorry for butchering your song lyric, Eddie.
  11. I thought it was supposed to be warmer the closer to the equator you get. Only going to make it to 76 here. But it is cloudy.
  12. Technically not yet winter for about 3 weeks.
  13. Funny, I don’t see any mistakes. Must need new glasses.
  14. Thanks for the comments and the compliment. I’ve heard the song, but don’t remember much, so no conscious inspiration there. And you’re right about the love.
  15. Definitely the support is there. Looking forward to the first day of school? Action packed maybe?
  16. Thanks. As I’ve said before, the words seem to come out of my head by themselves and I’m still surprised every time I seem to take yet another step up. Yes, he is definitely lucky to have so many in his corner.
  17. There are better times ahead, for sure. But since it's always darkest before the dawn, I do have to warn you, dawn isn't quite here yet, although I think the darkness recedes a little. But you should always be prepared for the roller coaster to appear at the top of another drop.
  18. I could think of a few things that Rocky could do that would make this observation come true. As a matter of fact, I'm in the middle of writing one now.
  19. Their lack of cumulative intelligence was proven with the fatso comment.
  20. So, okay, they both taste good.
  21. Thanks. I've said it before, but it seems like every new story I write, I like better than the last. Thankfully there's still quite a way to go with this one.
  22. He definitely has a lot of support around him. Rocky is definitely upset. Kids are resilient, I believe he'll end up okay. The positive attitude may take a little time and counseling before it arrives, but I'd say it looks promising.
  23. Thanks. Yes, Manny has some bumps in the road he still hasn't hit yet. Bass said he wouldn't be as gentle if there was a next time. Hmmm, I wonder if he could squash their pumpkins between his hands.
  24. Thanks. I won't take all the credit for these paragraphs, your input was great. Rocked 'em to the core, you might say. The kind I've drank sure does. I'd comment on this one, but probably can't do so without a spoiler. 🤐
  25. Bass had to look up the address for Charlie's, having never been there before. He walked into the bar just after they opened at two o'clock. Taylor and Danny were working, Charles was in his office—the bar was empty otherwise. Taylor saw him first, "Hey Bass, what brings you here?" Danny looked up, also curious. "I went to go see Manny, but he's back in surgery. I figured; I'd come here to kill some time." "Surgery again? What's up?" "They need to amputate two fingers an
