    Saturday Brendan woke up before Nick the next morning. Nick was lying on the couch and the blanket was on the floor.     Maybe it's me, but I think his so-called "friends" went a little too far with the antagonizing. If I were Jason, I would have left before most of what was said, was said. Otherwise, it was a good story.

    Yeah, I tried to make it look like CPS was uncooperative and even going to the police might not have been ideal. That, and like you said, it'd be less interesting. Like I mentioned above, more detail is forthcoming.

    Friday Brendan Nelson knew he should have stopped at the pizza place closer to home. 'Ten minutes isn't too far, the food won't get cold,' he had thought. Well, that would have been true if there wasn't an accident. An hour later, the seafood alfredo was as cold as it was in his car, A/C turned up high. The salad was probably wilted.     Prompt #385 – Brendan Nelson had a tough week at work. He is a Project Manager at a small software company. Nothing went well on his current project. The last delivery to QA (Quality Assurance) was a total failure, the techs couldn't even install it. Add to that, a serious problem in the development of a new feature arose. Finally, on top of that, the customer was screaming about a bug that hadn't been fixed for months, and now it apparently crashed the system. As if things weren't bad at work, he had to come home to a surprise.
