Give everyone considering marriage or a family a survey. One question being something akin to how would you feel if you discovered your child was gay. I’d they answered wrong, ship them off to an island somewhere with all the rest of the haters and let them enjoy each others company and leave the rest of us the f—- alone.

Hints of shape shifters? Hmm, I hope it isn’t a major point of the story. I’m hooked, though, so if it happens, maybe I’ll be ok. All bets are off if vampires and werewolves show up.

Glad I’m not the only ultra-late arrival. Interesting start. I initially wondered why Connor wouldn’t just “take ownership” of one of Granda’s horses, but it does make sense to get some training ahead of time on possibly what will be his own horse.

After a quiet week, (except for Tuesday) Saturday has arrived and Sam is helping his mom get everything set up for the party. Hadn’t heard that one before, I wonder if the “straight to hell” line influenced Drivin’ ‘n Cryin’ - they have a song called “Straight to Hell.” It’s kind of bluesy, not sure if you’ll like it. First heard the song after I moved to Georgia. They’re from Atlanta.

It looks like this version might need an enhancement within the last 10 chapters, the cause of Art’s stutter. The Italian descent is definitely described.
