Nice short story. I could almost picture my little Italian grandmother in the role. Very funny.

There are two more that were born late in this story. Whether they come back, well, we'll see.- 24 comments

Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginning's End
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginning's End
I get about 5 hours every night, never needed a lot. I guess I was a little unfair with the punishments, but at least Mel was able to have a decent life after incarceration. I didn't want to copy your suggestion exactly. Just a little tweak. The end result was still a Huber-flavored street pizza.- 24 comments

Thanks. I occasionally need a break from a story. I knew there was more here, but the idea well was a little dry. Stephen and Michael will be back for sure.- 24 comments

Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginning's End
Lee Wilson posted new chapter in Love Truly Is Blind
Jeff and AJ worked out every second day during Jeff's break, skipping Christmas, of course; apologies to John Grisham for borrowing the title of one of his books. Christmas was quite an experience for the Inness and Zamora families. Lester and Angela spared no expense on their gifts to their sons. They were very happy that Jeff could be home for the holidays, Angie made a veritable feast for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners. The Zamoras were invited for Christmas Eve and all had a gr- 24 comments

Taking notes for book two. -
Business has to commercialize everything. I was curious because the first time I remember hearing the phrase was in Crazy Eddie commercials on TV. But the true origination is closer to the true spirit of Christmas. From https://www.southernliving.com/holidays-occasions/christmas/how-did-christmas-july-start#:~:text=Christmas in July began in,gifts%2C making midsummer feel magical. More on Crazy Eddie for those of you not from the New York area can be found all over the Internet, but our friend, Wikipedia has a good summary: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Eddie

I'm guessing those coins actually exist, along with the values you indicated. Wow, that's a lot. I'll have to look into my treasure chest to see if I have anything similar. Yeah, right! I would have changed this sentence slightly: I'd have used a line from a song: I’m going to ask Mom if she’ll let me borrow her parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. 😀

Back To School and More Trouble
Lee Wilson commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Back To School and More Trouble
I hope you're not too disappointed when it turns out to be something different, like 3 million mosquitos carrying him off only to drop him into the Grand Canyon. Or maybe it's getting skewered 10 thousand times in a toothpick factory accident. Well, Gavin has proven himself to be that stupid in the past, so we'll have to see. -

Fingers crossed here too. We'll see, but not right away. The why about that will become known on Wednesday. -

Gavin's visit Saturday night was pleasant and moved the relationship along ever so slightly. They shared a few more chaste kisses, held hands most of the night, and stared at each other quite a bit. "I don't know why Tanisha said you were gross. I think you're pretty. Your glasses may be a little too big for your face, but otherwise, she's wrong." "Thank you, Gavin. But she was right about never being asked out on a date. I guess being average looking kept the boys from noticing."

I looked up Draven in the name dictionary. I was seeing red, but I’m pretty sure the definition was ‘fucking dickhead.’ Boy, was I wrong!

Nah, no worries. Lots of things can happen off camera. We’ll just say Joel talked in his sleep before Trace woke him up.

Spineless, gutless, and dickless. Although I can’t really complain. I could stand up to my spouse a little more too.
