I'm actually undergoing hip survery (labral tear repair) Thursday so I may be writing more with the required 4 week crutches times but don't know yet. It's a wicked recovery time to begin with 3 to 6 months of PT but being as I have a massive complicates possible nerve issue so we are playing it by ear . Hopefully I will get two other stories that I started a while ago that are shorter finished and then I can possibly focus on this one again. But we shall see. I've put everything on indefinite hold for the foreseeable future but thanks for checking in.

Thanks so much @Cane23. I don't know if I ever told you but somebody did actually edit the whole thing for me. They went back and just pulled the pieces for me off of the site and edited at their pleasure LOL I guess some of my sentences and things just irritated them but I agree with most of the grammar if not the character edits. I just have to go through them and finalize it. I've been sick for a few months so I would feel better that something posted and then fall back to little bits and snotty pieces again. Still sick but trying to move forward! Thanks for the support as always!

Thanks that one is on hold for a bit because I have so many to finish and I just got behind. Illness and holidays are not a good combination. The end of the year just came up on me too hard. But trying to get through everything that I have up in the air this year

Chapter 12 is the coffeehouse date and 13 is where the spice starts. You're almost there. It's not a straight a to Z romance.. Most of my repeat readers know how I roll by now

LOL yeah it's a long one. It wasn't better red when I posted it at the time. Someone has since been so for me but I haven't gone through all of the edits yet so I haven't reposted it. It's definitely a heavier story then most of my others. It will pick up I think it's around chapter 12 or 13. I don't know I think 14 is definitely a smutty chapter. There's a couple that are just pierce my but there's a lot of character and detail work because this is the first novel in the series. The finding Home Series which is going to be a lot of interconnected stories involving the characters that appear in Halos and heroes. So there's just a lot of ground work laid out. Tara will have her own story. Max and Roman will have their own story. Even andrew Whelan listed detective will have his own story. So there's a lot of stuff going on in the future. Just keep plugging away at it. Step away when you need to and get to the end. I promise that most people think it's worth it!

I am curious about that as well. I also find that with albums if you delete a photo it doesn't give you that space back. So many times I have had to completely delete an album to then add pictures back or to change a photo . It'll say that there's 20 out of whatever photos but there's only five in the album because I deleted or changed or whatever. So that I would like to be figured out maybe and also maybe have more than the number of albums we currently are allowed simply because I use it as a way to track my characters in the stories but I find that I have to truncate at times.

Thanks @Cane23. You know my love scenes can get VERY explicit.... 😏Which is why they're taxing and Max and Roman exhaust me. I all about the dialogue. But in an erotica romance, the sex is in the genre classification 😁 I like to give people the freedom to imagine the the way they like. I think we had that conversation once (I might have had it with two others as well🤔) about how they don't always resemble what's in your mind. Totally cool. I do that when I read novels whether they be romance or my psychological thrillers. And when you publish professionally it's very rare when the characters look like what you imagine. It's all depending on what they have access to as far as stock photos. That's why a lot of romance novels now willl just do like body pats with an alluring hint of sexy or a very stylized cover. Psych novels, well, you know how those are usually representing something in the story itself.

Thanks so much for the feedback and I glad you enjoy it. Tak will become a catalyst for tension and some heartbreak but not in the traditional love triangle way at all. It will be a oh no moment that will become an oh crap situation. There will eventually be a HEA because that is how I roll I need those happily ever after moments no matter how much pain I put my characters through (like I Halos and Heroes). The steaminess will come and when it does, readers like @Cane23 can tell you it gets steamy!!! But it is a slow burn because Sev is a daddy so balancing romance and fatherhood will be a lot of sneaked in moments. At work.. We'll.. He is the boss and lives right over the shop... Ahem. I do have an album for the characters for my stories, including Coloring Outside The Lines. I will say I don't usually do the character description thing. Some people do and do it well. I myself for my work find it a bit too step-by-step? Though maybe that's not the right wording. I like descriptors that are more interperative, like how we might describe someone in front of us since it is first person POV. We wouldn't normally describe someone like we might in a personal ad or dating app. I would notice a man's smile, the depth in his eyes, maybe the way the t shirt hugs his broad shoulders, and rucks up at the hem just enough to give a hint of abs. Maybe the way his jeans tighten across his ass when he squats, the fabric worn and battered so soft it's a contrast to what look like thighs strong enough to feel like steel around my hips (head lol). I want it to be immersive? Again NO Issue with anyone who does the straight forward detailed description but I will admit (with much shame lol) that I RPed in the 90s and 2000s in chat rooms set up for anything goes and I can't tell you how many times a "6 foot tall vampire with bulging muscles, tight leather pants and long black hair with blue eyes" walked into the room. Not my personal jam though even popular authors like the man who wrote the Jack Reacher stories, go for that smack you with it detail. It's just personal taste. I also like people to be able to imagine the characters how they like. But there is that album so maybe that will help. I hope. Yesssssss! Oh that's good. I wasn't sure about having to go soon earlier but when you suggested it it just ended up writing itself in a way that made more sense. Simpler for me too because it was a lot less breaking my brain with police procedural . So I needed less of those details and just want the twistedness between the two of them lol. And yes she's so angry because he played her game but he leveled up. For the first part of the chapter she was winning and even when he got a little ahead of her , she always attacked harder and was pulling him deeper down into the deep end. Like you said the irony is that she's telling him to embrace who he is and the moment that he does she doesn't like it. He literally is talking to ghosts and exposing who he is and she is still angry . Because it didn't happen the way that she wanted. Because as you said, she wanted him to touch her. At this point she has nothing to lose and she understands that. Manipulating him into revealing everything that he is is the last game that you can play. Annnnnnnnd..... I love my readers lOL I love you all because you either pick up on things that I miss , or you give me even more ideas. Or you guys are just really been picking up those details before I have elaborated on them . So Bravo to you and all of you . This is why I feed back is so important to authors. Yes, she did slap him bare-handed so what is he going to feel especially when she's in this rage? Get prepared for a little bit more crazy right now everything is just kind of swirling around but Sean is watching . So is everyone else and the s*** just hit the fan . Can you imagine if you were watching this unfold? They're all people of logic and Science and psychology. I don't know if those are going to fly! I have enjoyed this past year despite some life hiccups to have made it so I will not be completing all of my stories this year unfortunately. C'est la vie. There's always next year. As both an author and a reader I am overall happy with the way that the site is. I do look forward to a full-on dark mode though because that will make it much easier. I use a large font because I am blind but I'm glad that others like @Cane23 get benefit out of it as well LOL. I'm sure that there is a way but I always find the website a little bit difficult to navigate and that's just because I'm Tech stupid , but when I save my to be read pile I wish there was a way to distinguish into categories. Because I can't always tell by the title what genre falls into but that's just me. I agree with @Cane23 that strong synopsis are important. So are reviews, no matter how shott. They help get new readers more traction feedback is also key. There are so many readers that are kind enough to leave a like but when you get no feedback verbally, sometimes you don't really know where to go if you're looking for it , in terms of moving the story along. Many times I already have my story pre-planned out, but sometimes readers will say something and it will just kick off a new idea that I didn't even know I had in there. So I would encourage readers to support your authors. Follow their stories, follow them if you are constantly going back to their stories anyway, and just show the support even through a wave. As authors we appreciate it because we know that you're taking the time to actually pausing your day and let us know your thoughts. Thanks and happy holidays y'all.

Thank you, sir! There is definitely going to be a lot of build up to the main event mostly because there's a child involved. Anyone who has kids or has been around them knows that private snuggle time is rare and precious when it happens because it doesn't happen often at all LOL they'll have to sneak around a bit but they work together so that's going to be difficult as well. So yes, a lot of buildup and happy nonsense in between for a bit. They're friends, Tak, even Aiden's firehouse crew-all that good stuff will fill in the blanks until we get there

Chapter 8 -Sev BEING the parent of a toddler meant that out of the 365 days in a calendar year, you were lucky if you were able to sleep in on the number of days you could count on one hand, with at least two fingers left over. Even on those days, you usually woke up early because not having said toddler jump on your head at the ass crack of dawn, was cause for concern that they might be not have the energy to use you as their personal trampoline because they were sick with the stoma
