Aww thank you! They are definitely jumping in with both feet and in some ways it's a good thing because they already know everything about each other and they're adding new components to their lives. On the other hand now they have to figure out how to make those pieces work . It's a great yay we love one another, but can we make it a happily ever after quandry. Like the next chapters will explore some of that with a lot of dialogue between Sev and Aiden. And of course, I will be adding their friends into both those in and work. Because how do you behave at work now that you're together but also employee and employer? It's shifting a lot of gears. The Greccos also thought Aiden was going to end up with a girl. They like Sev but it's another part of a culture shift. His own parents aren't gay friendly which he mentioned. Yes sir. There will be twists and turns for sure. Not in the beginning. It's going to be more sweet falling in love romance and an enhancing of the family unit dynamic. Probably won't be sleeping in the same bed just yet because they don't want to confuse ruby, that kind of thing but eventually it'll slowly be merging their lives together though that'll be easier than it might be with some couples because they're already halfway there. They started off that way without the sex . And of course we have to bring Tak back. LOL when I originally started the story years ago he was not a fully flesh character like he is in this version so his role in the story so to speak is going to be very different this time.

You are ripping through these chapters. You're going to get the chapter 6 and then it's a HARD STOP for now. I would just follow it if you want to continue the story because sometimes my posts are very few and far between due to health issues that most of my regular readers already know about. Lol. Probably not LOL it would be fun though wouldn't it? LOL but nope there's going to be more chatting and maybe some snuggling, but clothes will stay on. Ruby is coming back of course the next day and when there's a child involved in a dynamic things have to proceed if a little bit more caution than they might normally without said child in the picture. I think make out sessions will eventually come into play but it's going to be a while before we have the big fireworks and of course the big fireworks will happen it'll be happiness for a while and of course then the twist that poor talk will play a part in but not because he did anything wrong per se, it just is a complication. Light is complicated and you know that I try to write realistic, sometimes difficult characters and stories.

I am originally from New York City, born and bred in east Harlem so this story more than most of my others will have a lot of description about places that I remember growing up and just kind of things that people from the area especially in the 90s 2000s would be familiar with. Like El Barrio and other leas commonly known areas in Central Park. Though I moved to a state in a rural area where it's 180 out from what I grew up, I still remember all the details of New York and what makes it its own very unique landscape. I agree with you. Aiden would never have played with Sev's emotions on purpose and you'll see that in the next chapter. They really are the best of friends and there's some things that will come out later that I'm sure may raise eyebrows but life is complicated. In the earlier chapters it was mentioned that says the date somebody else but just didn't go anywhere he's always had a thing for Aiden then Aiden was just not aware. So unlike Noah and Luke in Studs and Spurs, this isn't about internalized homophobia or being afraid to step out of the closet as much as it is he just didn't realize it. The romance will come. But it's going to be a slow process because Sev is as trusting as a feral cat and they have Ruby. Anything that affects their relationship will also affect hers because says her father and she loves her Uncle AD.

I guess that's why it's my preferred Style when I write. They are definitely both thinking with both heads LOL but says perspective will show the holy toledo what are we doing. Because of course he has himself and Aiden's relationship but he also has Ruby. She is close to Aiden and of course the doors are daddy so any relationship and what occurs in it will affect her. When children are involved in relationships that become Blended families it's always a shuffling game to make sure that everyone has the same level of priority. And she would be absolutely devastated that she lost her uncle AD. It will be lots of fun times ahead for a while. They have to figure themselves out and of course all of their friends because they run in pretty much the same circles other than Aiden's work buddies, will probably have been taking bets for years lol. I try not to do tropes. They definitely are very hot-blooded alpha male types. And they will stay that way for a bit longer than I'd like. I really do appreciate that you notice I try to stay away from tropes and stereotypes! For this particular story they're kind of going to stay in the general vicinity of alpha a holes, and then of course they'll be a switch but it won't be noticeable at first. Price... I'm kind of setting him up to be an obvious problem.. So will he or won't he be one? O.o...lol Alexis definitely has aces up her sleeve. I think some people will be surprised by some of the things that she does and some people will not be surprised at all. There is going to be a twist as for the bureau. Possibly a double twist if I can work it out correctly in my head. I've never written psychological thrillers though I read them all the time. I'm always so wary of getting details wrong. I used to watch and read a lot of True Crime. When I see weak police procedurals on TV I notice a lot of the mistakes and I don't want to be that person. So I struggle a little bit with this but I think I figured out a way that there will be twists without me having to suspend belief too much. Alexis is the white whale. She is brilliant and they can't trip her up per se. Not deliberately. But Griffin is as much her achilles heel as she is his so that will show a little later. Definitely Alexis just wants something from him which you already made clear that she wanted him there. Why does she want him there. She's already torturing him. He lost his job. He lost all credibility. His name is going to be linked with hers possibly forever and infamy. Even though he may be able to prove that he had nothing to do with it, there's always going to be people that don't believe it. Conspiracy theorists abound in all aspects of life so what could she possibly want from him? He's gay. So it's not a romantic love? Right? What could she possibly want to gain from him .. And yes ghost will appear but there's just so many balls in the air that I didn't want to split the focus too much. So there was mention that he saw ghost coming in but now he's kind of focused on what's going on . Because he's a medium his interactions with ghosts or going to be more intense than just seeing them. And his abilities to touch objects and feel and kind of read people's minds obviously but that type of psychic ability comes at a true cost which is why he's always saying that he needs a drinkers he would prefer to be stoned Etc. So we will see ghosts later but it's going to be kind of towards the end. I haven't quite figured it out because I haven't set up the groundwork completely for it to a degree that I would be satisfied with in a normal length Story come up with this is supposed to be a short story even though of course it's turned out much longer than I expected originally. But I don't have 30 chapters to kind of build up all the pieces so I hate telling and not showing but I think some of it will have to be told in flashbacks or you know in his own mind kind of breaking things down so we'll see how it goes but there will be ghosts. There's going to be a very important twist with the ghostly community so that's coming but that will not happen next chapter into the very very end. And that's where I'll leave it because I don't want to give it away. But then the chapter after that is when all hell breaks loose.

Unfortunately my body imposes some physical limitations so I I can't write nearly as much as I would like to. I'm so glad you saw it now! I think there's a way for you to follow the story that way you'll be sent notifications when I post a chapters. I know I've been in frequent so that's what I tell readers when they message me letting me know that they've either miss a chapter or asking when I'm posting a new one. There is a lot of tension in the car LOL . Wait till the next chapter. You're going to see why I said that Griffin is not as nice as Spencer read lol. You did see some of it in the car. He has a mouth on him when he gets stressed out but Sean understands him. Originally the story was not supposed to be a romance in any respect. But as usual, the characters wrote themselves so I just go with it . It's not going to be a typical romance obviously , but there will be moments of confession and a sort of happiness is possible ending instead of an explicit happily ever after ending. @Cane23 translator or not sir, you understand and see a whole lot more than you think you do lol. I know it was very wordy . I tend to switch off style on what I'm writing. I think that's why it's easier for me to write modern first person because I can do it without thinking where if I'm doing Gothic or historical romance or something like this which is a psychological Thriller, then it becomes not quite word salad but definitely more descriptive. I'm glad that you got through it. The next chapter is going to be more dialogue as Alexis and Griff square off. She's a piece of work LOL I have written a lot of the scene over multiple times. Originally I had one idea , but then it completely morphed into something else and even as I'm writing the chapters the characters sort of speak for me and yesterday I was walking around doing laundry and whole new park pop into my head so I hastily voice to texted it to the chapter and now I just have to go and clean it up. Maybe or maybe not .. when we do the fortune telling thing all sorts of stuff can happen lol Brady and Booker suck but they will be pivotal in what turns out to be a very intense chapter. I plan this particular chapter ending on a very oh my gosh note so it all depends on where the characters going to be and how wicked Alexis is going to be. Like I said I had plans it to be more of a chapter where there was a lot more investigation and Griff sort of saw through her nonsense because she slipped, but that didn't feel as authentic because this woman killed for years didn't slip and I want the fact that he wears the gloves and she said people to really become the factor that changes things but he's not going to do it willingly so he needs to get pushed and she's planning to do so with both hands . I was a very clever use of the anthology theme. So simple and yet unexpected I'm relatable. I'm also creature of habit and I have such a mug collection LOL it drives my husband up a wall . I get them from thrift stores so I related to this and of course we have four cats lol. Well done.
