  1. Haha, other people loved Chekov too? I wanted him for myself! Anton Yelchin is very attractive. I also give 9/10. The battles were great, but not epic. I mean, in Nemesis when both ships were basically destroyed and they had to ram...THAT was epic.
  2. Tarin <3 Dreamweaver, but not for the WYSIWYG so much. If you know how to code HTML, Notepad++ for PC and TextWrangler for Mac are great free HTML editing programs. They are not WYSIWYGs though, so you do not get the (sometimes) nifty preview as in Dreamweaver, but you get the same or better XHTML assistance. Or you can always pay someone, or if you have a nice friend that knows HTML then you can maybe trade services or ask a favour. Of course, the question is...what kind of file is it you want to convert PD?
  3. IMAX tomorrow at 915pm. Tighty whities on that huge screen. Yum... If the humour is post TOS I'll be good. I never liked TOS. So I'm guessing I'll miss some.
  4. I am a Pink Sausage Link that likes to Upset Women. Umm, I won't comment on how much of that is true. *cough*
  5. I gave my last 5 real dollars to a coworker because she didn't have any gas. She paid me back today, much to my protest. (We get paid on Monday, yes.) I also took my little sister out to lunch, but I'm not sure that counts because she is my sister. So do I win?
  6. Well, my cousin and I used to search for straight porn together...and we both turned out gay. I always wondered if he was interested in the porn or not. I have several second cousins that I'm curious about, I think they are gay. And my mom's cousin, she has lived with this man for 15 years and they've never had sex as far as anyone can tell...
  7. One of my bosses and her wife wear wedding rings, but neither one has an engagement ring. I didn't know them when they got married (about 3 years ago), so I don't know if there was anything else special that happened. Personally, I would like to exchange a pendant with my significant other. I've always like penants, and depending on my significant other, I've already an idea for their design. Matching of course! White gold...mmm... I very much agree that it depends on the couple though, perhaps once I have my significant other we won't want pendants at all.
  8. Well, this forum is rare among forums I frequent because the average member here is not a complete idiot. Most places I go that is necessary to not offend, I guess it is habit now. Not if I have read the whole thread first. If I have read it all, then I don't need to read the quotes, just skim them. I actually prefer short quotes to just pointing out a member name, as often I forget who posted what. I'm terrible with names. Kisses, Tarin
  9. Well, I don't hardly read the stories on here anymore. I really didn't read them much to begin with. Only Nikolas James. I used to frequent Nifty, actually I found this site through Nifty via Nikolas. Well, I registered on the forum and I bug you guys from time to time. Also because I planned to read more stories, only I found that many of the stories didn't really interest me. No offence, but this site isn't all that important to me. I do enjoy some of the topics and some of the people, but I miss out on a lot because I don't read the stories. Perhaps eventually I'll sit down and try to read them again. At least some. Ted Louis' site has a few good stories on it, but it is mostly just for his story Joel. He has links to sites he likes very much I've yet to explore.
  10. I've been reading this thread and contemplating writing an actual post for quite a while now. Ever since it was started, I guess. My views on the perfect guy are more extensive than this, but it is a general overview. My perfect man is younger than I. He has shaggy dark hair. Delicate features, slightly feminine. Glasses are a plus. He should be himself, no matter what. Even if I don't like it. He wants to cuddle with me when watching movies. He has reasonable table manners and is otherwise polite. Intelligence is welcome, preferably above average. He doesn't have to be interested in sex, but kissing is good. Oh forget it. I don't know what I want in a man. I just want to know that when I find it, it is right. Perhaps we should describe an ideal relationship instead.
  11. Too long? Generally I am complaining about posts that are too short. So, mostly what I do is lurk nowdays, at most forums I frequent not just here. So I've had a lot of experience reading long and short posts, and several threads about long and short posts. Personally, it depends on the formatting of the post. I hate large paragraphs, it makes me think novel rather than discussion. Press the return key a few times will you? This will usually shorten your overall post length anyway, as a one or two sentence paragraph must be more condensed than an overly drawn out paragraph. Also when I see large paragraphs I often read the first and last sentence or line, just to get the idea. At least if it is nestled with other lengthy paragraphs. Other musts include: Punctuation; if a post is long with horrid punctuation I will ignore it. If I want the opinion of a tween girl I'll phone my cousin. (Harsh? Yes. Also, my punctuation, while improper, is at least existant and you can see my efforts. I'm especially terrible with comma splicing.) Content: Organisation. Even short posts can be repetative and boring. Come up with something new. (Yes, this post is a poor example of that.) Topic: If the topic only vaguely interests me, no matter how amazing the post I won't read it. rknapp's screen size is a good gauge of too long. My resolution is set about the same, but my cutoff is generally just before the screen's end. *disclaimer: you as used as a general term, I'm not fingering Kevin or anyone else..* Kisses, Tarin of the Vast
  12. Hmm, I think that is Heero Yuy from Mobile Suite Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz, yes? I had a crush on Quatre Raberba Winner from the same series. Mine is simple. It is my user. It is simple and clean, with an awesome font. Nothing flashy.
  13. Hehe. That was a great pick-me-up! I agree with many of these pick-me-ups, they do help. Generally I don't exersise though, even though it does help it is not my preferred method. Myself, I like to daydream. I write these fantastic stories in my head, in pictures and words. I play out characters both real and fictional and create the world that I want to live in. Everyone acts how they normally would, save one major change that would make my world okay. For example the boy I have a crush on would be in love with me, or I'd have a few thousand spare dollars. Poetry used to be my main release, though now I tend to just write. It ends up not being anything or very interesting, but it helps. Cleaning can help a lot, but mostly when I am angry, not sad. I listen to Sheryl Crow's self-titled album while I clean. I'm allergic to dust, so generally I'm a sneezing fit by the time I am done, and when I stop sneezing I am so relieved to breathe I've forgotten that I was angry. Driving used to be a good one for me, but recently I've been associating my car with a friend lost that I was in love with. That and gas is expensive... Violent video games are not a solution for me, I end up getting angry then I am sad and angry. Yet somehow I try anyway from time to time.
  14. Trebs, it took me a second to figure out Trebor is Robert backwards. Hehe. Tarin is a character in a story I read once upon a time. (Really only a few years ago, maybe two.) It was a decent story, I forget the title now, but the names I loved. None of you would have read it probably, it is a BL story. I actually started a list of names from that story that I add and subtract names from now and then. The character that everyone in the story was supposed to lust over was named Cailin, he was trained as a sex slave and was everything a good boy should be except he was not for sale - only for tease never for touch. However the servent boy Tarin that really was to be sold as a sex slave (and was not supposed to be as attractive and acted nasty jealous sometimes - and was also not fully "trained") caught my "eye." (Sex slavery was widely accepted in this altered Faer
  15. Hmm. Well, I'll be frank. I find there to be attractive people in mostly every race, for some reason I don't like dark skin, or the
  16. Oh boy. I don't like body hair. I don't like it at all. It seems...gross. I mean, some *down there* is fine, and small amounts are okay. But then again last time I let myself fall for someone, he was...quite hairy...but it

    Smoking

My mom smokes cigarettes. My dad smokes cigars very rarely (but still sometimes). I will never. It doesn't make sense to me. It is ugly, dirty, suicidal and expensive. Congrats to all of you who have quit. It is a hard and long road. You are very strong.
  18. These three programs are fantastic, I use Ad-Aware and Spybot. Personally, I prefer Avast over AVG, though most of my friends use AVG and are just as virus free as I am. If you do get Limewire again, get Peer Gaurdian as well, it helps with some security issues. Avast Peer Gaurdian
  19. Well Kevin, that seems not like a lot of fun. I've read stories where there are past events introduced and it was an obvious attempt to keep the story running too. I don't so much mind it, but after a point I agree it is tiresome, especially if the characters
  20. I used to be so addicted to the internet, but I broke my laptop and had to go without it to get it fixed. Thing is, I never sent it to get repairs. For months, like, 4 or 5. It felt good. I only ever sent it in because of school, I have an online class this semester and use it for several others. I got it fixed, and well, I'm not an addict anymore. I spend an hour or two on it before I go to bed every night while watching tv. If I find an interesting thread here, I will check more often.
  21. Well, I've only had one relationship. It lasted about 5 months, I was 16...it was a mistake we, were good as friends. But I got to go to prom twice... It was with a girl, I've never had a boyfriend. We still talk some, but she has changed a lot... I guess I pulled the average down 2y7mo
  22. Mmm, both fantastic choices! Right now it is Faithless - Salva Mea, but I am listening to the whole album Reverence. Good stuff, I owe the guy that introduced me to Faithless.
  23. I just went out with a friend, and I did really well with eye contact. We were at dinner, so I had plenty of opportunity to look her in the eye, and then to look away. We actually talked about this briefly! At the end of the night it felt really good, because I did it quite easily. I think that, generally speaking, introverts listen more, but may not be better listeners. They may, though, enjoy listening; that may
  24. I fear I agree more with Rose on this one. I have trouble maintaining eye contact, even when I am paying full attention. Usually I find the other person's gaze...boring. So I tune my eyes to something interesting, fiddle with something in my hands, and listen intently to the person. Unfortunately this is all to obviousin
  25. Obviously it is the second option. Like the space station. Mēr.
