Now I'm all confused... what number will be applied to the theory I have in mind? lol Or do I actually have to say it out loud before it earns a number?

Hmmmm... is right! 🙂

@Bft thank you very much!

Ahhhh ..... yes, good old Wilson! haha When I set out to write this one, I didn't want it to just be a catch up with all the characters from the past stories, it had to be a story that was free standing. That's why most of the older characters are only bit players in this one. It's good to catch up with what they are doing, but I didn't want it to be just about them. Hopefully that hasn't disappointed too many readers! 🤞

@Steve Farner thank you very much! -
@Paladin 2017, so yeah, there would be rules, but I didn't want to bog the story down with them. I figured that just saying there were processes and check and things that needed to be done, that was enough to let the readers know that due process was followed. 🙂

@Paladin yes ... there are processes that must be followed, but my take is that as Tony is the driving force behind the hostel, he knows all the details and which strings can be pulled, if needed 🙂

Yes @weinerdog 😋 The story is partly written ... it is called Seventeen Again and is in a follow on from The Seventeenth Summer and Kandanga Falls ... though I need to finish the second part of KF first, before I finish Seventeen Again. All I will give away at this stage is that it is set in 1995 and the kids name is Flip ... short for Phillip ... he's past high school age and likes surfing and cars 😁😁😁

Hmmm . . . @Ivor Slipper . . . do you see that as an issue? I remember when I was a kid our next-door neighbours would take in kids from the orphanage for the weekend. I just never thought it might be an issue . . . but I guess in this day and age it could be looked at differently.

-- Chapter 34 -- The shift started quietly, the way most real changes do. He had heard it first from Constable Leggatt, the day he visited the house. Someone from the parties – the one at the sports ground and the one at the quarry – had finally dared to speak up. There was no loud declaration, it was just enough of a whisper that the story began to gather steam, and generate a life of its own. The ears of people who had not been in attendance pricked at the words spoken; that it h

-- Chapter 33 -- Levi was in the backyard mid-morning on Saturday when he heard a vehicle coming along Beachside Lane, and when he poked his head around the side of the house and glanced at the gateway it was just in time to see Tony’s car slowing, before pulling into the Avalon driveway. Matt and Luke stepped out onto the verandah as the engine cut, having also heard the vehicle. In the front seats were Tony and Aaron, while in the back seat Jamie and Callum sat quietly, looking out at the
