  2. I answered, "No - I'd feel and react pretty much the same." Cheating is cheating regardless of gender. I may let it slide once but only once. After that, it's over. Oh, the letting it slide once is completely wiped away if my s/o cheats with one of my friends or a member of my family. In that case, it's over after the first indiscretion.
  3. The minors on this site really should go to bed at a decent hour. School is important. Then again, I should probably go to bed earlier than I do.
  4. Most of the time, I agree. But there are couples who are completely monogamous. If their is a high level of trust and verification, then a couple can consider being condom free. As a general rule of thumb, you should always use condoms. I'm simply stating that there is a RARE exception to that rule.
  5. There's no way it could be 100% accurate. I would never suggest otherwise. The stats are still staggering nonetheless.
  6. Javier was indulging in risky behavior, but we must NOT forget that we are still at risk even if we don't have tons of partners or use IV drugs. All you have to do is sleep with one person who is HIV+. That's all it takes. I think everyone needs to watch a couple of documentaries. One is called After Stonewall. The other is called Gay Sex in the 70's. Both of these documentaries talk about the unsafe sex practices that led to this devastating loss of human life. I was absolutely mortified at the idea of people hooking up with hundreds of complete strangers and engaging in drug use and unprotected sex. We cannot let this continue. We need to smarter. We know how HIV is spread. I'm not going to say that you must use condoms, but I will say that you'd better be sure that your partner has not been with anyone else in the past 6 months and that you both get tested before considering sex without condoms. Otherwise, you're risking your lives.
  7. Yeah, I felt the same deja vu when i read it. I had read the first 13 chapters a while back. I'm glad I stumbled upon 14-16, because I was into the story. Hmmmm... that reminds me of another story that needs finishing or at least a chapter or two. I won't mention the name of the author, but the initials are DL and the story I'm thinking of is also a sequel.
  8. Toshiba is definitely a good brand for laptops. The only problem I see is the processor. I prefer Pentium. The second computer had a pentium. So brand wise, I say Toshiba but on with a Pentium processor. I'm not saying Turion is bad; I'm saying that Pentium is preferable.
  9. I was simply stating my opinion about V relationships. If others are willing to participate in such a relationship, more power to them. I would never be a part of a V. I don't judge others for being in V relationships, but if I talk to people who are, I will not hide my opinion if he or she asks for it.
  10. I'll check it out some time
  11. I hope your online time does not interfere with school, young man. Jokes aside, I love chat. I'd enjoy chatting with more people on GA. Let's make it happen.
  12. Mr. Mister "Broken Wings"
  13. It's called sarcasm, kiddo. I laid it on quite thickly.
  14. It takes communication, and sometimes even adequate communication is not enough to fend off the "green-eyed monster." The most complicated polyamorous relations is called a V. There's one person at the center who has a relationship with two people. Apparently the two each put up with the person in the middle having a relationship with each. I think the person in the middle has to be selfish B or SOB. I would never enter into such a union. That's beyond selfish.
  15. The number of people infected with HIV is astounding. Another interesting statistic is the number of barrels of oil pumped. We're such a wasteful species.
  16. The World Clock I recieved an email about this website. I thought I would share it with everyone. What do you think about the statistics on this site? Personally, I think it's eye-opening.
  17. Mike, I enjoyed your story. Sometimes we forget how cruel kids can be. I went through a period of time in high school in which I became depressed. I was never picked on for those reasons, because I hid my sexual orientation, even from myself. Either way, high school can be difficult for gay/bi teens. It's a problem for so many. I'm glad I decided to live. It's good to know that we can reach out to struggling teens. The world is slowly changing, but we have a lot of work to do. We cannot sit idly by and watch as gay/bi teens are suffering because of bigotry. I appreciate your stories and others like it. We need to increase awareness about the tragic consequences of bullying.
  18. Illinois is another state to watch. Unfortunately, the Democrats in Missouri will have neither the guts nor the conviction to pass a similar bill in Missouri, even if we vote out Matt Blunt in November.
  19. I've queued a movie on Netflix about a polyamorous trio. They started as a couple of men. They were both bi so they decided they needed a woman. Men meet woman and "voila", an endless plethora of menage a trois for all three of them. They even had two children. Each man turned out to be the father of one of the children. That's all I know so far, because I have not seen the film. Perhaps I should move it to the top of my queue. The movie is called Three of Hearts: A Post-Modern Family.
  20. I prefer action and adventure games. Halo 3 is okay. I like some of the new weapons, especially the turrets you can carry around, blasting everything in sight. I'm looking forward to GTA 4. That's probably my favorite game series. If you get fed up with missions, you can alway's steal cars or shoot people on the streets. I've heard that GTA takes place in Liberty City (GTA's NYC) just like GTA 3. The main character is supposed to be a member of the Russian mafia. I can't wait to play it. If anyone is interested, I'll find a link about the game.
  21. I have heard that she has two books in the making. One is for children; the other is for adults. I look forward to anything she writes. She's such a great writer. A book about the children would be good too, but we'll have to wait and see. She's unsure about continuing the series. All we can do is speculate.
  22. Of course you wouldn't.
  23. Unfortunately some of us live in states that are socially conservative. Missouri may be a swing state, but the state banned gay marriage outright. It's in the constitutional. The only real way to reverse the law in Missouri would be for the federal government to pass a law preventing states from banning gay marriage or the USSC declaring it unconstitutional for states to do so. The war is far from over. I just wish the mid-west wasn't so socially conservative like the south.
  24. He's a lot nicer than I am. I would have made a new cliffhanger for the follow-up chapter just to drive everyone nuts.
  25. That's called swinging or having an open relationship. Merriam-Webster definites polyamory as, " the state or practice of having more than one open romantic relationship at a time" It's having a romantic relationship with more than one person. Polyamory is about love, not sex. I don't get the poly lifestyle myself, but if people want to be polys, let them. I could try it depending on the circumstances, but I'm not exactly looking for a poly relationship.
