  1. *snuggles gently* That sucks ass. I'm going to see the nice doctor tomorrow and then call my surgeon and set up an appointment with him. After that...>< drugged heaven for a little while.
  2. *hugs* Pain sucks no matter what happens. Luckily, I'm going to the docs tomorrow (early morning) and set up this damn surgery as soon as possible. I can't do this for very much longer. *sighs and twitches*
  3. Yeah, the back pain that takes me out every so often more and more lately?Well, I finally found out what is causing it! Let me give you some history first, since I don't think I've ever gone over that here. June/July 2010: My back starts to SCREAM at me. Ice pack, heating pad and some major pain killers don't work. At all. Call the ambulance, go to the nice ER and sit in a chair for somewhere near 7 hours and get a nice pain pill. August 2010: Once more, my back is screaming at me and I go to the hospital. I get a nice shot (again) after I get some X-Rays taken. November 2010: Back is screaming. This time...I get chewed out by the damn doctor for calling the f**king ambulance when I couldn't wait 3 hours for a f**king cab through my insurance to come get my ass. I still got my damn shot and walked out around 6. February 2011: Again, back pain. This time I get to have a cat scan and a nice pill. Once more, I'm in a nice chair. March 2011: Back pain. I go in with my mother this time. I end up with an IV and a saline bag being shoved into my blood stream because not only am I nauseous, but I can't really move and I'm ready to faint from the damn pain. May 2011: Yes, once more, back pain. Once more, I'm sick to my stomach and in pain. Except this time, I'm still in some pain. This time though, they took me down to the nice man with the little wand that took pictures of my gallbladder. By the time I was done being tortured (hey! You try having some little pain in the ass shove something into your side when it's screaming in pain) I was ready to hurt the poor tech and retching. I started to feel better. I now have a diagnosis of stones in my gallbladder, otherwise known as gallstones. Goody, right? Yeah, so now I know WHY I'm in so much pain so often. My coffee/tea habit. Mind you, that's...regular tea. My herbals really don't bother me but that may be because I'm addicted to Green Teas. So for now, me and the water bottles are having a love affair, I am taking two to three different pills (depending on how I feel), which include a generic Zantac (for my stomach), generic Vicodin (still kicks my ass) and baclophen (since I don't have any more of my generic flexerial). All of these are to keep me from getting to the point of once more needing to spend most of the night and part of the day in the hospital. I will try to keep you guys up to date on what is going on. I haven't gotten any sleep tonight, so don't mind if this seems rambling and odd. I'm going to call my nice doctor and finally do a follow up (as long as my insurance will let me get a damn cab up there today). And set up an appointment for a surgeon for my very much needed surgery.I promise to tell you guys the info as I get them. :3 Here's hoping my gallstones aren't as big as my moms were. She spent a week in the hospital post surgery because she had ones the size of a marble! And yes, that is BIG. And dangerous. If the surgeon tries to make me try pills to dissolve the suckers, I will laugh in his face and tell him I've been dealing with this shit for nearly a year. I am not doing it for ANOTHER year, on a bland diet on top of that.I like my food! I miss my pepper! And my coffee!! *cries*
  4. They were packed in three rather large vans, the equipment taking up the back of them with everyone sitting up front. They were just pulling up to the house, a rather nice looking couple sitting on the porch swing, apparently waiting for them. The man looked as if he had recently been in a bar fight against a stool and lost, hard. Very, very hard. Looking over to Marana, he raised an eyebrow at his co-hunter and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel as he pulled up and parked in front of the
  5. It was late, much too late to be up; he knew it was, despite the fact that he had closed the curtains to his bed, blocking out the world. He could almost feel the darkness that pressed against the glass, on the outside of the house. He ignored it though, reading various articles about their newest job, looking at pictures and writing out questions that would need to be answered when it came time. The history was so very dark that it was surprising that there hadn’t been more activity at the R

    Chapter 9

The call had come in at around two in the afternoon when the now safe, ghost free house they called base and home was empty. Most of the group had jobs that took up much of their days that they refused to leave unless they were pushed to. Which meant that the dark blond was left alone most of the day going over case files, various bits of information from their latest hunt and making sure that their equipment was working and up to date. Then again, it had been like that since Kyle had been al

We are known as Windfall Paranormal Investigations and during this training you will be updated on equipment, techniques, classes of ghosts and various other information that you will need.” Kyle smiled brightly and pulled out a box, putting it down on the table, watching

    Chapter 7

It was free! Free to move around, free to finally take its revenge on the family that cursed it to its body. Free to learn who it was, or rather who it had been once, the flashes coming even faster now. They included those of a young woman in a long dress, fanning herself as they rode in a carriage. There were some of the same young woman crying out in distress and then holding its body close when its porcelain prison had been new. They kept going through its mind as it waited for the day to fin
  11. The world needs to kiss my lily white booty! Darn fields with their pollen and stuff. *pouts and goes off to sniffle in dispair*
  12. Sitting down, David looked to his parents and wondered what they would say about the thoughts that buzzed about his head. Swallowing lightly, he plastered a strained smile on his face as his mother handed him the salad bowl piled high with greenery and onions. Putting a bit onto his plate, he went back to his thoughts, not really paying attention to what his parents were talking about, only bothering to look up when they brought up Pastor Alex and his sermon that he had delivered that Sunday.

    Chapter 6

*~*~*~*~*~* “I’ll be fine. Edward is here, I have you on speed dial and Maria is due in, in a few hours. Apparently, Marana, the clumsy one, twisted her ankle and had to head to the doctors,” Markus soothed, smiling at his lover as he stroked a hand over the others arm. Smiling in return, Lien nodded and tugged the red head close, arms wrapping around his waist. Edward rolled his eyes from the door way of the study, nearly sneering before disappearing back into the study area. “Alright, I’
  14. *smiles and blushes* I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite the chest ache.
  15. *snuggles the Lugh* I sorry it made you sad, but I suppose the muses got what they wanted. Angst. :3 Glad you liked sweetness.

    Chapter 5

*~*~*~*~*~* What the fuck were they doing out there amongst the boxes and pieces of furniture? The sounds of talking, shuffling of papers, the opening of drawers and the thunks of furniture being moved around had suddenly stopped and a new sound was starting to come through to it. It was soft and deep, occasionally breaking off into something akin to a grunt. The bastard spawns name would occasionally come through the wooden panels of its prison coffin. Jerking at a particularly loud
  17. Thank you. I was actually wondering if I should have made it longer but the muses just glared at me. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  18. Thank you my dear. I haven't gotten around to reading the others myself. *bad Rose*
  19. Shattered moon dancing upon the land below A broken rose glistening under scattered light. Blades glinting and gleaming Eyes lilting and dim As they gaze upon a shattered moon. Long fingers dance and touch Glistening red falling upon cracked petals. Breath curled and lips smiled As the darkness opened and welcomed A soul that lost her way once upon a time. She wondered as she stared at the shattered moon Just what would happen next. Fingers slid over
  20. The moon was shattered and her rose broken. A 2011 Poetry Anthology submission.
  21. Laying on the floor, his legs hanging over the edge of the chair as his arms laid above his head, he blinked up at the ceiling, trying to absorb what Edward had said. The twins shared a look and cocked their eyebrows upwards as David started to mutter to himself. “There are no other Lewis’ to the best of my limited knowledge. Only grandma and grandpa hold that name now,” he mused softly, his foot started to tick back and forth with agitation at the thought that his family could have hid somet

    Chapter 4

Lunch had been eaten, clothes had been shoved into the car to be ignored until a later date and the rest of the bedroom had been cleared out, quite a few things moved to boxes that had been marked and tucked away into the right rooms to go through at a later date. Lien sighed and eyed the stairs that would lead them to the attic before looking down at his smaller lover who just smirked at him with a knowing smile. He was starting to hate that ‘I know what you’re thinking’ smile and wondered how
  23. Seriously, can I? Okay, I bet you're all wondering why I'm not really active. I have my reasons. The post is a repost from my blog on Authors Haunt, and is kinda late coming here since I am in some SERIOUS amounts of pain and I'm waiting for the nice pain killers to kick in. I'm happy that my stories are so loved but it's dampened by the fact that I'm dealing with some major physical problems, as described below, along with other physical aliments that I deal with daily, i.e. carpel tunnel, bad hip, knee that likes to give. The usual problems that come with having a body that hates you because you put it through hell during your younger years. My back pain apparently crops up if I do to much bending over. Lovely. I won't bend, but I have to since it's time to shop for food and my mother is dealing with some wrist and arm problems that make it hard for her to pick up heavy items (i.e. bags of sugar, flour, frozen family sized dinners). Means I HAVE to bend over and pick things up. I want to cry now and I don't cry! I really don't. Why? I'm to damn apathetic half the time to actually cry. Okay, that's my update. I'll try to be more active you guys, really.

    Chapter 3

*~*~*~*~*~* Laughter! There was laughter down there. Why were they laughing so soon after the death of the little bastard who had made sure it had been so well sealed? They should be crying, unhappy with life and how the man had left the world so soon. They should be mourning! Why weren’t they mourning?! But could it be that damnable Native that the bastards spawn had started dating in the last year? He had seen the creature when it had taken the very rare trip outside of its body, usin

    Chapter 2

*~*~*~*~*~*~* Soft laughter filled its prison, childish, sweet, even as fingers danced over the top of the box. Time was flying faster and faster around him, plucking at its outfit and skin, at its eyes and hair. Time whispered of what was happening below, promising that it would be free soon, it would be free to do what it wanted, to go where it wanted to go. It laughed again, the sweet sound dancing in its ears. For so long the mean one had kept it in its box, never opening it, never let
