Chapter One: Female (finally!!) Finding someone: Female Gum and Arguements: Female Leaving it all behind: Male So lets, see, 6 chapters of ABD sounds male, while only one sounds female. 2 of my one shots is female and one is male....so, 7 parts is male while 3 parts are female...wtf? Really? I write like a male...? *goes off to assure herself she's female* I need to leave the computer and stare at my reflection for a bit.

aww, thanks kevin. *huggles* I rather like your avatar to. I keep seeing the full picture pop up on photobucket and when I google certain pics.

You are so true. I still like my lips. I'm thinking of using them for my persona (Rose Strailo) It'll be interesting that's for sure.
-
I'm reading a possible publishing contract...*nibbles lip* I got a copy of my friends since it's the basic contract for this company. I'm thinking of submitting an anthology of stories with them...we'll see how things go.

*hugs* I remember that book. I stole it from my friend one time when she was taking the class. I ended up reading for three hours, giving her answers for her essay...it is a facinating read. I'm now studying up on my astronomy, via the internet. It's for a future story set...which I've talked about. *note to self: research mythological creatures and gods...I need to find out if Nagas were part of the myths or not...

*smoochies with the painted lips* Anyways, I forgot to tell why I use this pic. Part of my e-mail is Sweet Stuff and my dev art name is SweetStuff23...so, I originally went for candy, but found these instead.

I've switched my to a pair of painted lips...what? I was bored...so I went searching for a new avatar for my aff.net account and found these.

Welcome to this little slice of gay heaven...that is gay literature heaven. If you are looking for good stories, and don't mind lack of sex or anything rather graphic, CJames, our very own goat, writes some great stuff, as the tiger says. Warning for Tigers stuff, look forward to really long chapters. But a good plot. BeaStKid (otherwise known as Beastie) has some good stories going on. Granted, nothing much in the way of sexual bits, but still good. You'd be surprised at what you'll find. Also...have to do the self pimpage.... I write several genres, ranging from romance to horror and nearly everything in between. Just check out my profile, link below in my sig.

Of course, you're reading. Are you at least learning something from it? *is ashamed to say...she never learned a thing from her text books due to the fact that she had a bad time in college*

I'm so bad! I haven't posted here in so long! I'm so sorry everyone. As most know, I've been sick, or very, very busy. One extreme or the other, never somewhere inbetween. I have been writing, having posted more chapters of A Butterfly's Dream, a couple more one shots, including my pride and joy A Campers Nightmare. My mother has also sprained her foot (ouch), so I've been taking care of her for the past few days. I do plan on continuing to write, but I've also discovered a few new bunnies nibbling and have decided on a series of stories, centering around one of my favorite characters. His name is Alexander and is to be introduced in my ghost's anthology submission, but isn't a main character of that story. Anyways, I hope to write more and tell you what I'm up to. But for now, I hope every one is happy with life and living it to the fullest. Rose Strailo

gah! I'm reading over my old stories and I have to say...WHY DID I WRITE IT?! My God, they're horrid! How...could...I...did...I...? *ish shocked and awed at the horridness of her earlier works* But beyond that, I've been reading some stories online by TwistedHilarity. Her stuff is good...granted most of it is smut, but still great stuff. I like her story 'The Last Pure Human' and this other one of her stuff, but I forget the name...

ARRRGGGHHH!! Okay, now that that's out of the way, I have to say this. First of all, I pity the family that had their childs murder used in such a way by people who are supposedly pro-life. The higher ups of PITA need a firm boot up where the sun don't shine, that is if they get their heads out of there first. To do that is just disgusting and makes other more then ticked, but also unwilling to listen to what they have to say. Second of all, there are companies out there that are SOME companies, not all, but SOME that don't use hormones and try to keep their animals healthy and happy for their sometimes short lives. Unhappy animals usually lead to sick and lean animals, hormones or not. Now that I'm done with my rant...I'm off!

*ish currently fighting mold she found* BACK! BACK I SAY! *inches away from mold* I HAVE BLEACH!! BLEACH I TELL YOU! ACK! I use bleach mostly, along with some basic cleaners...and mold killer when I can find it.

*is addicted to her vcr and cd player* I don't deal well with mindless comercials unless it's on the history channel. And even then I imagine doing bad things. ...I imagine taking my three inch, chunky heels and slowly squishing the creature...slowly. I've seen one to many gecko commercials....

To be honest, David from my story, 'A Butterfly's Dream', is a...how do I say this...not idealized me, but more of a representation of my past. Of the confusion, pain, happiness, ect that I went through for many years in my life. He is that little part of my history that has taken a character form. No matter the writer, we put a bit of ourselves into the character and story, no matter how hard we try not to.

Okay, my phobias and let me tell you, they are phobias, not just fears. Melissophobia: Fear of bees, like it's been said. I freak. I will scream bloody murder, run for the bathroom and stay locked in there if a bee even looks at me. I'm allergic so that's tied up into that. Ptermerhanophobia (I hope I spelled that right): Fear of flying. I get physically sick to my stomach just thinking about stepping onto a plane, much less flying. To many horror stories. I'll stick to a car or a train thank you. Arachniphobia: Fear of spiders. I hate the suckers. It comes from the fact that my cousins were mostly male, so they took great delight in tormenting me when I was younger. I've despised and feared spiders ever since. I can't go near a spider to even squish it. Claustrophobia: I hate tight spaces. I can't stand them. It doesn't help that I don't like to be touched in the first place. It's not a phobia, just a dislike. It's also with the fact that quite a few times when I was younger, I was usually stuffed in a car with my cousins while my mom worked. Yeah... Heights: I don't just get sick, I freeze completely. I can't move. I can't even get on a step ladder, not without a counter being in front or back of me. Don't know why, but it's what happened. Edit: I forgot about one phobia. I have no idea what it's called, but I can't stand those little porcilan doll clowns. Their bodies are usually just a bean bag type body, with porcilen hands and feet, and the face just creeps me the heck out. If I'm in the same room as one, I keep staring at it, making sure it doesn't move. And if I have to sleep with it in the same room, I find out if i can move it out of the way.

Happy birthday, James! Hope you have many, many more.

That so sweet. Like it's been said before, it all depends on the person you're with. I had one person, my ex boyfriend, in my life that lasted for a long time. We were together, off and on, for 5 years. We had exchanged necklaces, one for him that looked like a dream catcher and mine, that looked like Kokopele. It was a two piece set that had was special ordered. They had been since stolen from us by someone who had been a dear friend on a camping trip.

Ya know what's really scary about me reading this is that I actually understood half of what you said and I'm usually the one who sits there and goes "Do what to the what? English man! Not computer speak!!"

I've seen the anime. It was so good. You have to hunt for it. The Manga has nothing on the anime. By the way, I hate Relena. Okay, my avatar is because I used to go by Faery's Delight as a pen name. I still use it for my AFF.net account. That and I like the flowers. Reminds me of my grandmother roses fav pic that I can't seem to find.

My name is a combination of my grandmothers first name and one of my family surnames. Mind you, I have like, 4. Lewis, Williams, Strailo and Cutrell. Lewis from my grandfather Lewis, Williams from my grandfather, my grandmothers 3ed hubby, Strailo is just a family name from my grandmothers side, and Cutrell from my biological grandfathers side, who died when my half aunt, my mothers half sis, was like 1 and a 1/2 years old. I combined the two and got Rose Strailo.

If I can't get out, and I'm stuck in side, I sit down, create some characters and then proceed to work on my torture writing skills. I've come out with some very bloody pieces that will never see the light of day.

Currently I'm reading Dean Koontz's From the Corner of His Eye and Mort Castles Cursed Be The Child. I love both books. The first one is about a boy who loses his eye sight before regaining it. After a while, he looses his eyes all around. It goes through the boys life, all the way until adult hood. It's a creepy story while being utterly sweet. Now, Cursed Be The Child is the exact opposite. It starts out with a beaten and abused, both physically and mentally, during the Spanish Influenza. She dies with hatred in her mind and a broken heart and mind. Fast forward some odd years and you'll find a supposedly happy family moving into the house. It goes down hill from there, and ends with a very dark ending. It's a great story. It pulls you in and doesn't let you go, all the while talking about a very sensitive subject.

This is a story about my favorite pieces of history. What did happen to the vikings that came here before the so called first settlers? It's such an interesting piece of history and this story was just as interesting. I bow at your feet, dear one, and applaud you for another wonderous story.
