Thank you so much! Brad's manipulative side has a silver lining, in that he's able to find that compromise and move beyond a set position. He's been the peacemaker in this whole deal.
Thanks for the review! I think it's way too early for Marc and Brad to be paired off to live happily ever after, but for now, they make each other happy.

I looked at the clock and it was 6:00am. I hadn’t slept at all. We’d fucked, then just lain there and talked, and then we’d fucked again. “I don’t think I have any fluids left in my body,” he said.
“Good,” I told him.
“So what time are you guys leaving?” It was sweet to hear the disappointment in his voice, but I wasn’t any happier about it.
“If I had my choice, I’d stay
I totally agree with you. Like I said in a review below, the problem with Cam is his stage in life, as you noted. He's in the "exiting college" phase. That's young, mentally.
That's a really good synopsis. I'm not sure that Marc is starving and struggling, since his art cost a shitload of money. I think with Cam it's not so much his age as his stage in life. If he had a couple more years, it may work.
I think that the shared tragedy is merely a backdrop. I think they are linked much more by a mutual appreciation of art, whether it be Marc's body or Marc's painting. ;-)
With Stef, he feels remorse, it's just shielded by his pride. He doesn't want to admit that he was wrong, but he'll eventually figure it out. He's getting bitchier as he gets older, kind of like his author. ;-)
Hammer was basically taken as an alternate, so they probably won't be impacted if he doesn't make it to Australia.
You always give me crap about short chapters, when they're all damn near the same length. I choose to take it as a compliment, in that you just want more, so thank you.

It was 5:50, and I was so agitated I couldn’t hide it. Stef sat there, smirking at me, but I was so keyed up, I ignored him. “You look very nice,” he said, which was encouraging.
“Do I look forty?” I asked, being bitchy.
“You do not,” he said firmly. “As soon as I notice you aging, we will rush you in for some reparative surgery.”
“We’ll see about that,” I said. I hadn’t em
I think Heather Locklear is too cute, and her boobs are too big, to be Elizabeth. I'm thinking more along the lines of Meryl Streep in Devil Wears Prada.
Thank you so much!
I think that it is not just that Granger is smart, it is that he is experienced. He's served the bulk of his career in the Mediterranean, so he knows the dangers of that sea, and he's intimately aware of the pirate threat.
Still, the pirates through him for a loop with their maneuver, pretending to put the bulk of their effort into Antares, then shifting to Valiant at the last minute.
We'll have to see how badly Eastwyck was wounded, and the nature of the wound.
