    Chapter 35

I posted something on this in the forums, but I don't think that Caroline really gets how obvious she's been.

    Chapter 35

Royal princes don't get shipped off to dangerous tropical lands. The risk is too high. FYI. I think you're right about the Earl, it's just a shame that George's relationship with his wife is suffering as his relationship with his father improves.

    Chapter 35

He's truly a fish out of water, but he may just surprise all of these people by reminding them that he can be a courtier as well.

    Chapter 35

You, objecting to sluttiness? Wow. That's almost as bad as me objecting to it. ;-) I think that he could go to the Brotherhood if he needed to, but the Duke of Clarence is the guy he'd talk to, and he hasn't seen him yet.

    Chapter 35

Well, I think that since George just got home, he has to get his feet firmly planted on the ground before he takes any major action.

    Chapter 19

Well, he grew up in this hothouse, so it's second nature to him, sadly enough.
  7. You want me to send JJ to Bulgaria? Should I leave him there?
  8. I think that Caroline has three basic problems: 1. She sees things so clearly when it involves other people, she just doesn't see it when it involves her. Kind of like how when I look in the mirror and I think I'm 10 years younger and 20 pounds lighter than I really am. 2. She got involved with a royal, which is quite a coup, but now she doesn't know how to get out of it. 3. She's not sure if George is really going to be there for her, so if she tells Gloucester to piss off, she could end up all alone. That's scary when you're carrying a bastard child.

    Chapter 35

I think Granger is more sophisticated when it comes to court life and intrigue than he realizes.

    Chapter 35

Yep. It's nice to have a handsome guy there to make things better. ;-)

    Chapter 19

I think some people have strong logical AND intuitive mental ability, and that helps them divine their way through situations where they may not have all the experience they need. I think Wade is like that.

    Chapter 19

I think the key word there was 'begins'. :-)

    Chapter 19

Callan would work well, but a trust company isn't necessary.

    Chapter 19

I don't think Trevor's into group sex with guys. He's a straight guy who likes to make out and get blown by other guys, and that's pretty much it. At least so far. Then again, Matt's pretty persuasive. ;-)

    Chapter 19

    Thanks! Mary Ellen is interesting.

    Chapter 35

March 9, 1797 Granger walked through the familiar entry way and into the foyer, with its Bridgemont blue wallpaper and beautifully carved woodwork, then headed straight to his father’s study. His head was still spinning from his time at St. James Palace. It wasn’t just the strange encounter with Cavendish and Arthur; it was his feeling of being so incredibly isolated and out of place. This used to be his world, and now he felt as if he didn’t even belong anymore. Ev
  17. Sharon raises an issue I need to mention to all of you Paternity readers. I've been hit with a bit of the Granger bug, and while my schedule has gotten busier, I've still managed to spend some time writing. Unfortunately, I've been really engrossed in "St. Vincent," such that chapter 19 of Paternity was the last one I have written. Now, I don't expect it to be a long time until I post another chapter, but some patience may be required while I work to finish St. Vincent. Just a head's up.

    Chapter 19

October 2, 2000 Escorial, CA Wade “Fuck yeah!” he shouted, as I slammed into him. I looked down at his amazing body and once again marveled at how perfect it was. His six pack seemed to jump out at me, bulging through his skin every time I thrust my dick into him, while his hard cock bounced around, throbbing and leaking. There was a scar on his otherwise smooth chest where the dialysis tube had been, a stark reminder of how close I’d come to losing him two years ago. He h
  19. I'm glad you're enjoying the story! I think that Arthur's behavior is like that of a jealous wife, only he can't express it that way. I don't think that Cavendish and Granger have really done anything wrong: it's not a bad thing to see an old lover and be happy to see him. Making plans to meet, well, that may have crossed the line, unless of course Cavendish really had no intention of following through with them. When we last saw Arthur, he was into some minor kink..bondage, as I recall. And probably some S&M. I wonder how that's developed.

    Chapter 34

I was kind of worried about that, about how people would react to a homecoming that wasn't perfect and happy. But I think that Granger is just as interesting (if not moreso) in a crisis.
  21. Thanks for your comments. You two both seem unsettled, and that's quite flattering, since that's how George feels, and so I'm happy that you're understanding where he's at. Not all homecomings are happy.

    Chapter 34

I like to keep things interesting. ;-)

    Chapter 34

I think that how Granger deals with this will either reflect well on him, or badly. We'll have to see how it turns out.

    Chapter 34

Thanks Dan. It's a tough thing to deal with even for those of us who've never been sailors, but for navy guys, it has to be really tough.

    Chapter 34

March 8, 1797 “Pregnant?” he asked, stunned. There was so much in that statement that Granger’s mind just whirled, flying from confused thought to confused thought. “Yes,” she muttered. Granger stood there, holding his wife, frozen in place. She looked up at him, at his expression, and shrieked, a cry of agony, and fled from the room, leaving him standing there alone, pondering what that meant. Unless this was a divine conception, she’d clearly had
