    Chapter 1

I'm glad you like the set-up. Hopefully the story lives up to it.

    Chapter 1

That's so limiting though. I like being vague so I can dance off on tangents.

I'll bet Jan remembers. (insert evil smiley)
  5. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I tried to quote posts and respond to reviews, but once again, the site is moving so slowly it keeps kicking me to an error screen. I really do appreciate your comments and feedback. I'll try to pick a time when it's moving at a normal speed and get back to all of you. I'm thinking that 2025 ought to be about right.

    Chapter 1

Paternity, in this context, refers to 'being a father', and that can last a lifetime, even though the story won't. ;-)
  8. Paternity is the twelfth story in the CAP series. You can find it here. If you want to get updates on when new chapters are published, click on "follow this story." I'll try to keep the edits to a minimum so you don't get a bunch of extra e-mail notifications. I hope you enjoy it!

    Chapter 1

September 16, 2000 Los Angeles, CA Wade The conference room at the hospital was barely large enough to hold all of the people in our group. At the head of the table stood the doctor, officiously rummaging through the papers that held the two secrets we were all here to discover. He was the only one in the room who knew who the real fathers were of Jeanine’s and Tiffany’s babies. His apparent disorganization was intensely irritating. I longed to jump in and straighten

    Paternity

Paternity is the twelfth story in the CAP Saga. The story takes place in 2000, with Wade Danfield and Will Schluter as our primary narrators. Many of the characters in this story were introduced in “Chronicles of an Academic Predator,” “1968,” “The Land Whore,” “Be Rad,” “Man in Motion,” “A Summer Love,” “If It Fits,” “Bloodlines,” “The Box,” "Millennium," and "Poor Man's Son."
  11. Sharon's rule: No animals may be fictionally harmed during sex acts in the story. That's why I had to pull the chapter with Stef and the horse. It's times like this that I really miss the "negative" button.
  12. Too funny. Some insights into my writing team: Sharon would shake her head, but as long as it's not too outrageous, she'd let it go. She would correct the grammar though. Peter A. would point out the continuity problems, wondering where the stick came from, what kind of stick it was, and whether the body lube Will used was glossy or more of a matte finish. Jeremy would rage that Will got a stick up his ass, while JJ didn't. Dr. Peter would patiently explain the risks of having a stick up one's ass, and point out what could happen, worse case (at my urging), if the stick broke. Jay would turn the whole thing into a complex bondage scenario. And Adam would be fine with it as long as no football players were harmed. They're awesome!
  13. We have a few more challenges to deal with before 9-11.

    Chapter 46

One would think Mr. Hendrickson would be ecstatic. You're assuming Zach is sincere, and that it isn't just an act.

    Chapter 46

Thanks Tim. My plan for the next story is to incorporate Will in so we can see him doing some of the cool H-W stuff, like the trip to Arizona.

    Chapter 46

Thanks! We'll see more of Will in the next story, and possibly of Tony. I really do think that Gathan is gender neutral. He craves love more than anything else.

    Chapter 46

It's really hard to have long distance relationships in the early years of college. It would have been unrealistic for it to work.

    Chapter 46

I have a name for it. And the first chapter is already done. ;-)

    Chapter 46

Thanks Len. Will should make a few appearances, at least, in our next story.
  20. I got so much shit about this story, I decided that I could dispense with my normal formula and not have a happy ending. Still, the optimist in me couldn't handle a total disaster, so I left it with kind of a "meh" resolution. I think that works. My objective was to draft a transitional story, where I could introduce some new characters and flesh them out a little bit. I exposed more of Gathan, and we got to know Will as an evolving teen, and JJ as well. Zach Hayes got set up as a villain who has either reformed, or hasn't. Tony Carbone made his debut, as did a few other people I'm sure we'll see in the future. We closed out the issues with Neil in Paris. And two new babies were born.

    Chapter 46

I doubt that Gathan will be "alone" for long. Don't worry about him.

    Chapter 46

Is Zach good or evil? ;-)
  23. Mark Arbour

    Chapter 46

Well, this was a transitional story, and it was designed to introduce us to some new characters, and to close out some old storylines.

    Chapter 46

I did have a wonderful TG. I hope yours was good as well.
  25. September 14, 2000 Claremont, OH Gathan “Dude, thanks for picking me up,” I said to Brent as I gave him a hug. I tossed my bag in the back of what used to be my truck and went to hop into the front seat. There was another surprise waiting for me there: Zach. “Welcome back to Ohio,” he said affably. “It’s good to be back,” I said, trying to sound glad to see him, but wondering how many others knew about my surprise visit. I shut the door, put on my seat belt, and
