    Chapter 22

If Roberts gets back. (Evil grin).

    Chapter 22

Thanks for the review Dan! I'm behind in responding to them, as you can all see. I'll try to get another chapter out soon!
  3. I can see some JP in George, but I think JP is more serious than Granger. I think Granger has a charm and playfulness that JP lacks. For JP, that kind of attribute is a bit more "canned", whereas with George it's natural. Westie's observations are pretty astute....at least most of them.

    Chapter 45

Thanks Len. It's tough to write a kid like this, since I usually get beaned from one side (you're making him too mature!) or the other (you're making him too bratty!)

    Chapter 45

Ah, but a water bed is heated, very convenient for a chilly room. ;-)Glad you liked the chapter.
  6. Great choices Jeremy! I really liked that Vertical Horizon song and haven't heard it for a while.
  7. September 14, 2000 Malibu, CA Will “So how’s school?” Tony asked me as we walked back to the house. I lit a joint and took a hit, then handed it to him. “Different.” He gave me a questioning look, asking me to expand on that. “Everyone there is really smart, and super intense. So it’s not like it was before, where because I’m so hot, everyone was nice to me.” “Yeah, that’s why,” he joked. It reminded me of how we bantered before, and how much I’d enjoyed that.
  8. I'd be interested to hear the opinion of the readers on this one.

    Chapter 23

January 23, 1797 Granger gripped the shrouds with one hand while his other hand firmly clutched the tarpaulin around his body, fighting with the wind to maintain it in place over his uniform. It was not quite dawn yet, otherwise he’d be able to scan the sea that roiled all around them in this big Mediterranean gale. He fought back the anxiety that threatened to overwhelm him, the nervousness that they would find themselves on a lee shore when dawn finally did break th

    Chapter 44

You know better than to settle in on a stable course like that. ;-)
  11. I'm doing better with the balance of life, but I'm still busy. Why would I let lesbians be happy? How many happy lesbians do you know? *ducks* Will's had it easy, as has been noted, with his ability to be out at an early age, and to do it easily. Tony won't be so lucky.
  12. I actually just finished writing Chapter 23, so it's in editing now. Sadly, though, it's a cliffhanger and I haven't started 24 yet.

    Chapter 44

I'm glad you do. Some guys don't understand what really intelligent, high-spirited young guys are like.

    Chapter 44

That's the life of a teen: quasi-adult moments. The moms have an interesting road ahead.
  15. Sometimes Santa gets delayed. This site was moving slower than molasses this morning, and I didn't have time to wait for it.
  16. September 13, 2000 Holmby Hills, CA Will “So no trip to K38?” Jason asked me as we walked out of the AD building. “No. It fucking sucks,” I said, even though I wasn’t as upset about it as I made it sound. “My mom is home, confined to her bed pretty much, so until this baby comes along, there isn’t shit happening.” “Sucks for you,” he said. “Yep.” Tomorrow was my birthday, and with all the excitement over the upcoming births, I wondered if anyone would eve
  17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU EVIL THING YOU!
  18. Thanks for sharing that. A fascinating story! Do you think that guys in the gym are looking at you nervously because they're thinking about the things you do with guys, or because they're worried that you're looking at them? I've known some guys who are pretty much exhibitionists and love to be looked at by damn near anyone, while others seem to see it as a form of sexual foreplay, so if another guy watches him "in that way" it's like they're committing a sex act.
  19. Bigger nose, eyes closer. At least in my mind. Still, that guy is smoking. I'll have to work on something for Alistair. I see him as older, slightly more handsome, but completely dorky. Glasses, and probably wears clothes that are way more formal than anyone else wears.
  20. Sorry Pete. I didn't mean to direct that comment specifically at you, which is why I didn't quote your post, but I can see where you would think that. It was more my rumination on the topic as a whole.
  21. I know. That politicians would be so hypocritical is just stunning.
  22. I think it's absurd for a person to question another person's sexuality. You have some greater knowledge of them that gives you that right?
  23. She's been dead for two years. There's no cheating issue here. There wouldn't be a cheating issue if she'd been dead ten minutes. What I'm hearing you say is that it's a mental flashback to something she wouldn't do, and he's probably thinking about how much he likes it, and how sad it was that she didn't. Regardless, I'm sure that however you wrote it, it's hella hot.
  24. I don't think Will's all that upset about his birthday plans being postponed. I think he's taking things pretty much in stride. And yes, the country was like that 11 years ago. Amazing what a booming economy and no wars can do. The issues with Matt and Gathan won't really come to light until the next story, which is already in the planning stages. I think Will's being pragmatic about his birthday, just keeping things open and easy. It's kind of a precursor to him finding his way back to the laid-back guy he used to be. Mexico has some awesome places, that's for sure. Personally, I've never done K38, but it sounds like a blast.
  25. The ads were cool Jeremy. Good call.
