Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! It's a busy day here, and it will be a busy weekend, but then I get some spare time again, and maybe I can belt out a chapter or thirty. I'll have to think of something really kinky to do with Hershey Kisses just for Sharon.

It was a problem during those times, with landlords squeezing every drop of money out of their estates. I'm not sure any of them really worried about a revolution. That's what troops are for.

Travers is part of the gentry, which would be analagous to our upper middle class. Granger is an aristocrat, and entirely different species.

I think there's a difference between "knowing" and "suspecting". Listen to you, comparing George and Travers' ships. When did you become a size queen?

I was worried that with this series, readers would be frustrated by the death that went with the era and with war in general. So far, I think we've survived it alright, but it's a challenge.
