  1. I have some critiques about the technical aspect of the site that I PMed you.
  2. My first crush, celeb or otherwise, was on Noah Hathaway from Battlestar Galactica, but I was so young I didn't realize it was a crush until many years later. Then it was a toss up between Noah and Barrett from Never Ending Story. My third crush was on Johnathan Brandis, who incidentally played Bastian in Never Ending Story 2... Nothing against Johnathan's memory but that was such a bad movie.
  3. See, I keep forgetting to click publish as well. It usually takes me about five minutes to figure it out, and afterwards I'm feeling used and degraded, then I wan't to go and have my picture taken for a nudie magazine so I can be in control of being used and degraded... Then I remember that I'm not Jessica Hahn and that life really isn't like a Saturday Night Live skit, no matter how much cooler it would be. Okay, who stole my meds?
  4. Navigator

    I feel sleepy.

I hope you have a better day tomorrow and a great Turkey day. Turkey and footbal, yeah that's definitely one of the good things in life.
  5. Since when did the U.S. Government federalize wishes? Damned bureaucracy.
  6. *** WISHES REALLY HARD *** *** Looks into mirror. *** Didn't work. I'm still old.
  7. Thanks for reminding me that I'm old. Seriously though, thanks for the well wishes. Love the animations.
  8. Well I don't mind RC, but I'm with dk on this one. I'm an old school Pepper.
  9. Well tell me what you need from me to get started. I would imagine reading the story would help if you haven't already.
  10. Well I'm looking for some pictures of the various characters in the story, I'm hoping that the visuals might give my muse a kick start.
  11. Any artists out there who would be interested in doing some work for my fan-fic? I couldn't pay but there might be some web development skills I could trade for it.
  12. I'm curious, do the story archive votes get removed after a certain length of time? At one point I had 4 votes and now I have three and of those three, one is new (from what I remember). Not that I'm complaining since the "missing" votes were lowering my average but I'm just curious.
  13. Personally, I like in depth reviews the best, even if they are unfavorable. Clearly whomever takes the time to point out certain details, good or bad, has actually read the story and not just as a "to pass the time". I really like those reviews because I can get in touch with them as a reader. Don't get me wrong, those who post "great story!" or "Keep up the good work" are also enjoyed but I honestly can't connect with those readers. Nastygrams or outright flames are ignored cause it's just someone who isn't getting laid enough.
  14. They've had several continuity errors throughout the show. In the first season, Ryak is "made" into a jaffa by the use of a go'auld artifact. Later in the sixth season when T'ealc is on tritonin, he is trying to convince the amazon jaffa to use it instead of the symbiotes. The jaffa women are trying to get symbiotes for their girls that have "come of age". So are jaffa born that way, or converted? Major discontinuity error there. Oh and in the special edition of the movie, Daniel said foster parents but in the show, daniel was raised by his grandfather. Yet another error but one that I can forgive seeing how the special edition wasn't released until after the show was sucessful.
  15. He was kinda cute in the first season when his hair was long, but then like samson, he lost his power when he cut it. Now he's just annoying.
  16. That was Hillary-ous
  17. Haven't had any problems with mine, but then I haven't upgraded for over a year.
  18. Hate to break it to you Pat but we are not protected on the national level in the slightest. It's all down to state and municipal laws. Within the Seattle city limits, I can not be fired from my job because I'm gay. If I were I would be legally able to take action. Outside Seattle, that is not the case. Bellevue for example would quite litterally laugh any poor sap out of court if they tried to sue for gay discrimination, and Bellevue is just across Lake Washington. Of course, Seattle's law is made completely moot due to Washington State's at will laws. As long as the boss doesn't say that he's firing me because I'm gay, then he can fire me. But my boss hired me knowing full well I was gay so I doubt that would ever be an issue for me at this job.
  19. Found a page with several links http://www.movie-list.com/trailers.php?id=starwars3
  20. Hmm... Link invalid
  21. Umm... 1) Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 2) "Are you a witch or not?" - Ron Weasley to Hermione Granger. I dare say that witchraft is mentioned quite often throughout the book(s), however I don't see how it could be considered a manual. There's only the vaguest reference to "swish and flick" and the dangers of misenunciation but nothing that would be remotely close to "instructional".
  22. She doesn't know what spam is. But that can change. Ok, I'll behave myself.
  23. No, initially through book 4. To my knowledge, 5, 6 & 7 have not yet been green lighted. Hence my use of the word "succeed" rather than "replace".
  24. The movies and the books are completely autonomous as far as the creative process is concerned. Mr. Coltraine's desire to step out only means that they will have to find a different actor to play Hagrid, Just as Michael Gamblon succeeded Richard Harris (No disrespect to Mr. Gamblon, but one just can not replace Richard Harris) another actor will succeed Mr. Coltraine. Another thing to consider about the movies is that only the first four were optioned. It'd debatable whether or not the remaining books will be made into films. The HP flicks have been doing decreasingly well. The initial audience that they are inteded for is growing up and the fad is waining amongst youngsters. It has become sort of a cult following with most of the adult fans such as ourselves but that is not enough to make worth financing a full motion picture worth the effort.
  25. Before book five, rather neutral. Percy wasn't exactly Harry's favorite Weasley, but he didn't have any real negative opinion about him except that he was kind of stuffy. During book five, I would hazzard to guess that Harry really doesn't think to much of him, but you can bet the other Weasley's think even less.
