  1. Mark, Another fantastic chapter. As another poster noted, the scene with Wade, JP and the memory of Tonto was a tear jerker (I'm holding back tears as I recall the scene now). I, too, will be sad when Bloodlines ends. BTW, you have the FBO stuff and the flying costs for the Falcon dead on. While it is expensive and generous, for a California land baron or Internet billionaire, its just walking around money. As always, thank you for sharing your writing. Bryan
  2. I'm beginning to think that when Dirk mentions wanting Trevor to live a "normal" life, it is not a straight life, but a life not spent obsessing about his boat or his mother -- that is, a normal teenager's life. It is the classic failure to communicate.
  3. We can get our jollies, both sex and blood, if Benjamin and Brian are in an SM relationship. The problem is, I want Brian to suffer, but I can't see him as the submissive one of that pair.
  4. I have a quibble over the packing the ballot box idea. Don't college organizations worry about who is or isn't a member of an organization and entitled to vote? (or was I the only person who worried about this in college, because I was destined to be a lawyer since at least 5th grade?). It just didn't seem realistic to me that students who suddenly show up could vote.
  5. For some reason (and I'm too lazy to go back and read), I thought that the new boy was closer to 15. My bad!
  6. While you're researching, throw in a chapter where the frigate in the doldrums and Granger finds out the vices and virtues of the new ship's boy? You can set that chapter totally in Granger's bedroom. You already know all the technical details for this part of the story!
  7. Great line, Mark! Ah, I remember being a teaching assistant and then college professor. New fresh meat students arriving each fall. One lovely lass was very concerned about her grade in my class. She told me that she would do anything for an A. I probed and she assured me she meant anything. As she leaned over so that I could enjoy the view of young, firm breasts, she suddenly became very upset when I suggested she try studying if she was really willing to do anything!.
  8. Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! (Of course, it takes a writer of Nephylim's skill to cogently write what the rest of us were thinking!)
  9. Chapter 47. Un-f**king-believable. Mark, you have out done yourself. I'm ready to start bawling, and then there is this: There was silence for a moment, and I fought back the laughter inside, at seeing Brad and Stef grapple with being called hotheads. Robbie lost the battle first, and then JP, laughing at the two of them, while Brad and Stef looked at each other first, then glared at their partners. Brad was the one who got his wits back first. "Let's call it righteous indignation," he said with a smile. How f**king great is that!?! And this: I made a mental note not to blow him in front of them nonetheless, and that almost made me laugh. I did laugh. And, finally, this: He walked up to Matt and dipped his index finger into my cum and then put it in Matt's mouth. "I'm reminding him what's waiting for him out here when he gets well." I tried not to laugh but I couldn't. I was almost hysterical, watching Cody dip his finger into the pool of my cum in his hand and then let it drip into Matt's mouth. He didn't put all that much in, there was still a lot left in his palm. Then he looked at me, straight in the eyes, held up his palm, licked my cum off and swallowed it. It was probably the sexiest f**king thing I'd seen. And I cried because of the inescapable beauty of the moment. Thanks, Mark.
  10. Ah, yes, Sharon, the font of wisdom. (makes apologies and starts backing out of room)
  11. Bastard! I'm sitting here at the computer with tears in my eyes. The ending of this chapter is one of the best. Two kindred spirits of two generations, comfortable with each other, with JP sharing his life with Wade. I can't find the words to describe what draws me to the ending, but something is there.
  12. Another reason why I like you! A good finance and economics teacher is a great thing. I was blessed at Syracuse as an undergraduate to discover a great finance professor and a great economics professor. I took anything and everything they taught. One course I ended up building the demand function for education in the United States using regression analysis. In another course, he had me do an oral final exam (stop it you guys, I don't me that kind of oral exam) by the doctoral candidates who had just defended their dissertations. Very intense, but a great experience. Cool stuff. Bryan
  13. You and me both, but I couldn't resist making the comment. The plot has really developed. I wasn't a fan for the first few chapters. I thought the sex was gratuitous. Now it develops the plot. (And my fantasies!)
  14. Chapter 1 is still lacking in details. No details on cocks, no details on asses, ....
  15. Isn't that the truth! Every time I'm in Palo, I want to be able to drive out to Escorial, push the intercom button at the gate and say, "Mark Arbour sent me".
  16. Mark, Some of my comments will be a little dated. Unfortunately, I've been busy trying to earn a living, so I haven't posted or followed the posts for much of November. Brian's outing of Matt was a spectacular chapter, in spite of being saddened by his parents' rejection. While we all knew that would be their reaction, it didn't make it any easier to experience. An exceptionally well written chapter (hell, they're all well written, but this one was even better). I always suspected something about the Senator, as I do for any over the top bigot. I always assume they are trying to restrain their true self. And, I'm rarely proved wrong. For some reason, Wade's reaction to being f**ked by Matt further raised my suspicions about Wade's father. Then, when Matt received the camcorder, I knew where this was going. You handled the subject matter well. Another great chapter. As always (too many f**king always in this post!), thank you for sharing your writing. Bryan
  17. You're recommendations are always spot on, but you've exceeded yourself with your Chapter 24 list.
  18. I don't care how long they are, Mark, so long as one is followed by another! Bryan
  19. Pacing! That's what the story has. Incredible pacing. Thanks, Tiger, for helping me put a finger on what I love about this story. The wait between chapters is killing me, though. Bryan
  20. Well, 20 went up before I could comment on 19! Thanks for the hockey game, Mark, I loved it. I could follow all the action in my mind and it was great to look up and see Matt's new, extended family in the stands. I thought the resolution of Cole's sexuality (**ahem**) came too quickly, however. I wanted Matt to have time to teach Cole a thing or two. And, I wanted to read all about it! Bryan
  21. I'm a Cialis man, thank you.
  22. Ah, f**k 'em if they can't take a joke.
  23. Side bar: Mark, every once and a while, I used to look through the album with your home page photos and drool over my favorites. They're AWOL. Wot happened?
  24. You can never satisfy us, Mark! There can never be enough blowing.
