I saw a movie "Across the Universe" its a good movie it incorporates an era and the music of the era sung by the actors its no Grease ... but in its own right shows us the Beatles era the UK\USA experience It would have been the kind of movie I would have like to have written when I first listen to Beatles music long ago But base on the thread content ... what said would have killed the idea unless I paid for the license to use the songs and won funding to produce it as a movie or a play and then later wait for the movie or play fan request the release of a novelization. The good question would GA public like such a story or not? I am not sure how many people read Grease before it was made as a play or movie. I bet the play\movie was done before a novelization was released to avoid the extra work if the movie was a dud. I for my experience have not read a musical before I've seen it or listen to the sound track. I think my impression would be the novelization would explain more what the scene meant better than watching the musical. But everyone is different. The actor was an excellent choice ... but the ending in typical french movies tends be weak but in this case this was like a drama historical we explore how CRAZY is ... the experience was wonderful another movie but its not gay themed is a very good movie concept "Across the Universe" ... featuring 60s music and mostly the beatles music introducing the era of the 60s to us who don't know it they missed one song ...
