See, like I said, I think the Legally Blonde experience would be good for Will, just like the Devil Wears Prada experience has been GREAT for JJ. Culture shock is an interesting experience. I mean, you did it- Missouri is pretty different from Northern California. I did a milder version of it, going from the East Coast to living in Western Pennsylvania. It's not Hardcore Appalachia, but it's like the outer edges of it, and for a guy who's been raised no further than 90 minute drive from the coast since the age of 9, it was serious culture shock. At the same time, I'm worried that having Will in Boston will bring just too much drama to the nice little family that Wade/Matt/Tiffany have set up. LOL (Although I do wonder if at some point Cody will try to get custody of his daughter Maddie from Tiffany.)

I wonder if the high speed rail thing will ever actually happen in California.

Yeah, especially because I missed Steve's funeral. I did attend the wake, but yeah. Many of you know about my friend Steve, who died of a heroin overdose when we were 27 years old in 2013. It was, to say the least, a very painful experience for me, during a very turbulent year and half of my life. I recently got an email from our mutual friend inviting me to a bench dedication they're doing for Steve at a park that was, coincidentally, built near the site where their former dorms were. I mean, I'm going. No doubt about it. I just don't know how I feel about more crying. I'm going, though. I like to think it will be a positive experience. It's just weird to have this come up after having to go to my dad's funeral a month ago. Like I'm having to revisit painful memories from first my childhood, and now my 20's.

Marie strikes me as someone who, if she's not going to live in Northern California, would instead live on the East Coast. I don't think SoCal would ever be her deal.

Matt, Wade, and Tiffany seem to have settled into a nice family life and I don't want Will to come around and wreck it with the chaos he always inevitably brings. LOL At least until Maddie and Riley are middle-school aged. LOL

I did love though that JJ realized he really fits in with New York City. Although I kind of always pictured at one point JJ will come across some East Coast snobby intellectual douchebag who dismisses JJ as some dumb blond California airhead, especially when they realize that JJ isn't interested in college.

Pretty interesting you've decided to send Marie and Will off to college while the arts minded people (JJ and John) are likely not going. I mean, neither have talked about it so it seems likely they're both forgoing college. JJ and John both have in's to the artistic fields they're interested in so they likely don't think they need college. Although I do like that JJ is at least finishing out strong at St. Anne's.

Zane Phillips looks like he'd be a CAP character. I'm leaning towards Cody, but I could also see Roger. The mustache and hair gives him a 70's or 80's vibe. Can't you just picture this guy getting into all sorts of really fun trouble? LOL

I've always kind of imagined that Harvard would go for Will the way it initially went for Elle in Legally Blonde. That would be pretty funny to me, and I like the idea of Mark giving Will the Legally Blonde experience like he's giving JJ the Devil Wears Prada experience.

I'm going to pretend this is an alternate universe where Darius is bisexual and Wade Danfield is British royality.
