The sexual tension between Rover and Slade is becoming more than I can bear. Something better happen soon! Hopefully it will involve more body fluids! Then again, maybe the sexual tension is all mine! Like Neph, I want more, more, more....

Chapter 28 was superb! Lots of action! It's one thing to be pompous...actually both the French and the English excel at it but to be pompous when several canon are pointed at your ass....well, that's just dumb. And Fitzwilliam brought up his rear....I mean, the rear. Kudos to Humphreys for his successful landing party! Perhaps Fitzwilliam will offer his rear in celebration. Unfortunately, they're both busy right now sailing the captured brigs back to the fleet.

Ok, I want to know why the four of them stood there and watched? Yes, it's looking like Matt and Cody. Although we really didn't hear much from Cody. But Cody did come down for the game. I must say Matt's handling the "exposure" rather well.....so far. I, too, must declare a cliffhanger!

Calvert is just so sweet! He and George have now had the talk. How to be while in London. Oh well, it was inevitable I suppose. I don't believe Calvert appreciated Granger's career pep talk. I didn't. I loved the Vice-Admiral's reaction when he arrived with the fleet. So George and crew are once again into the breech. :2hands:

That was a totally hot chapter! Someone should shoot Cole's mother. Seriously. Magnum 44. I'm not talking champagne here. Let's bring in Clint for the head shot! Certainly part of Cole's deal is the role his mother has played in his life. I have the same concerns as Tiger. So does Matt himself!

Frankly, I think Granger would be quite open to Caroline having lovers if that was want she wanted. He would just expect her to be discreet....something he's still working on. Caroline is without her husband most of the time, but she's anything but alone. She and George now have their own London based home and money to redecorate it. She'll be in heaven.

I don't see the point of the poll if it's someone we don't know. :wacko: I voted for Matt, Max and Unknown person. Matt, well, he's obvious. I think they're great together. Max and Cody had a thing going there for a while, back when Marcel was misbehaving. Not that Max was much better. What would be totally ironic would be Cody and Cole. That would leave Matt with his balls swinging in the breeze. Not for too long of course.

I'm really enjoying this story. I must say that I noted a dramatic improvement in your writing and story telling as the story progressed. Then again, maybe it was just me enjoying the story increasingly more. Chapter 18 was superb. The dialogue between Jeremy and Kyle was excellent - the post Jason incident. They were talking about love.... both our concepts of love and how differently we all experience it. Nice job with that. Kyle is lucky to have Jeremy as a friend. I do hope Kyle and Ryan get it working. I believe they definitely belong together. What was it that Nathan said? Something about being so wrong for each other that it was perfect.

Granger never ceases to amaze me. I can't wait to see Jervis' reaction when he arrives with his fleet and sees the English flag flying with Granger sitting in the port ready to hand him this Dutch island on a platter. And while waiting, Granger has great sex, a good meal and gets drunk. All in a day's work, I suppose. So Granger is already thinking ahead about how he'll have to behave when he returns home. We'll see if he can pull it off. It won't be easy seeing how quickly his "dance card" fills up when he's home. I'm also wondering what will happen when Granger ends up in the same port as Travis and Calvert. I believe George's earlier answer to this dilema was a "threesome". Super chapter, Mark!

That was a beautiful closing chapter. I deserved it too! The love scene was so touching. It really was. In the back of my mind, though, I was thinking that Josh might have to take Ash back to the hospital and explain to that doctor why Ash was so exhausted again. Beautifully written and beautifully told, Neph!

I always remove the worms first. Shouldn't we be discussing the good things rats do for us, like the maggots? Think of all those lab rats that have sacrificed themselves for mankind. Your common rat also generates a great deal of employment....in the way of pest control companies.

I had completely forgotten that Matt's parents had been planning a visit. I thought for sure Matt was going to get outed to them some how. Well, not this time. Looks like Tiger's prescription for Matt and Brian worked as anticipated. Great sex scene! Now that Brian's not being an asshole, we may not hear much from him. Given Matt's libido and the feelings Matt and Cole have for one another, it's kind of inevitable that they're going to get together one way or another. I'm curious what role Cole will play in that coming together. Some straight guys "let" themselves be seduced. Great chapter, Mark!

Sweet scene there at the beginning with Eli and Alex. So Hamon wants to be God! No ego problem there. Wasn't it nice that Hamon apologized to Alex for stabbing him in the chest. Alex has become my favourite character. He's a sweetheart! Great chapter, Marco!
