  1. Why did Scar take the time to tell Yuri that he hasn't had much night time jumping experience? It would be great if Scar jumped right into the volcano! That way this whole island invasion thing will be over quickly and we can focus on the lovin', male exotic dancers and pool parties!
  2. Yes, there were some good yuks in this chapter. Keith and Brian....I like it. I think CJ will just leave it in the "sparks" stage. I smell a sequel here. Great job, CJ! Take good care of yourself, goat-buddy!
  3. Three excellent chapters, Mark! I hope Marcel realizes that getting Pete out of his shell is not the same as getting him out of his clothes. Then again, it might help. So Max is back in the story. Marcel was really good for him, particularly when Marcel talked to him about Lou. I'm not convinced that Max will get what he needs from his parents right now. I'd rather see him with Brad, Marcel and Steph. I'm not surprised that Robbie was being positive about Marcel and Max getting together. I'm hoping Robbie doesn't have another 'episode' of insecurity. It would br great to have Brad in the story for a bit. I agree that Lark needs to straighten himself out. He's behaving poorly. That chore would somehow involve Brad too.
  4. Great story, Mark! Needless to say, I'm glad there will be a sequel following Summer Love. Granger has turned into a fine young man and naval officer. Where can I order a midshipman?
  5. One more chapter! Say it ain't so! There's going to be a sequel, right? I must say, that was a sweet sweet chapter. Now we just have to hope there's still a Barracuda for Granger and his men to go back to. Welcome, kiwiboi! Mark got your first post. He's gonna love that!
  6. While Eric and Jansen were hanging around near the airport waiting for the General, there was time there for one hot and heavy make out session. Instead they were looking for a sandwich shop??? Doesn't sound like the Eric I've come to know. Talk about a missed opportunity!
  7. Great chapter! I guess the war will have to serve as a distraction for both Granger and Travers. Mind you, Granger has other distractions as well. It seems it won't be long before George is screaming, "O Captain, my Captain!" on a regular basis. It also looks like our brand new Lieutenant will be breaking in his own Midshipman! I was impressed and amused with the exchange between George and his potential spouse. George's looks and charm will just about get him into anyone's bed. Yes, indeed, Sir Evelyn fires his first salvo!
  8. OMG! Granger and Travers are to be separated. Splice the main brace! God save the King! I'm thinking this whole war thing with France is plot by Sir Evelyn to get Granger's sweet ass all to himself! Can't say that I blame the dude! Looks like being disowned was the best thing that could have happened to Bertie. He's gone to India to prove his worth. :2hands: Good on ya, Bertie. Here's hoping you don't get your nuts shoot off. He's quit gambling but intends to hang onto booze and whores. I don't know, Bertie. Lots of great stuff in chapter 10.
  9. Actually, I started the ball rolling on that one.
  10. Yes, I like that. Sir Evelyn of the Mast. Bertie's back! Surprise! Granger's butt is in high demand at this particular point. Poor lad, he's just trying to be a good sailor. Lots of good laughs in that chapter. Great job, Mark!
  11. Chapter 7 was extremely enjoyable! Young Granger continues to amaze me. He's maturing and really beginning to assert himself aboard the ship. He's got Travers in his hip pocket....not to mention other places. A fine lad he is. So Travers has to overcome the shame and stigma attached to his father's treason. That's a tough one. Granger certainly seems eager to help him out there. I hope the visit home to meet Granger's parents doesn't backfire. I must admit though that they're quite the formidable team. Carnal duties. Interesting concept.
  12. The Canucks will bring the Stanley Cup HOME to Vancouver. Everything else is details.
  13. I think it's far too early in the story for Wilcox to be gone gone. I think Wilcox, as a young child, spent too much time on the tit. His father or grandfather need to "straighten" him out a bit. Kissing the Gunner's daughter was a good start. Happy for Granger and Travers! So you can't turn royalty down? I've always been a prince of a fellow!
  14. The encounter between Marcel and Ace was an eye opener. It was pretty insightful on Marcel's part, I must say. So, Ace has anger issues. My first guess would be it's something around his biological father. I'm sure that everything Ace learned about him was all positve - positive to the point where he found living up to his father's standard somewhat daunting. I'm also thinking that he has a lot of guilt around his younger brother, Billy (now deceased). He's asking himself what he could have done differently, how could he have been a better brother and role model for Billy. This would also tie into his "father" issues. Guilt sucks. Guilt serves its purpose in causing us to change our ways, but anxiety-ridden guilt simply buries us. You can't change the past. You can only improve on what you're doing now. In my life, anyway, circumstances that I perceive as unfinished issues are in fact finished. I just didn't like the ending and no amount of replaying it in my head is going to change that. Marcel really shined in this chapter. If I were to take a stab at kjames' question, I would say Philippe is looking to get away from it all the way his half-brother did. Marcel's a potential meal ticket. I don't believe that's a bad thing. He'll need to ask, though....unless Marcel pulls a Brad/Steph thing and hauls his ass out of there. Yeah, Marcel's ready to give back too. Having $10 million will help.
  15. You have to be cautious around what type of lard you use. Lard can be shortening!
  16. Will there be no redemption for Wilcox? Surely he must realize by now that being a bitch is not a good long term strategy? "Kissing the gunner's daughter", how quaint! You wouldn't want to be kissing her a second time. I'm curious as to the role our new midshipman, Mr. Clay, will play in the story. Yes, there's more to this French Colonel than meets the eye. :2hands: As for Travers and his return to aloofness, it may just be that hearing the "Articles of War" again has given him cause to restrain himself, for his his sake and Granger's. You only get caught once. Excellent chapter, Mark.
  17. My thanks go out to the Edmonton Oilers for dousing the Calgary Flames last night 5 - 1. This leaves my Vancouver Canucks sitting pretty good for clinching the division title. Edmonton and Calgary of course have that provincial rivalry thing going on. They do it all over again in Calgary this weekend. Yup, the Flames are going down on the Oilers.
  18. There's a lot of man sex going on in the King's Royal Navy and no one is getting hanged. I can just hear Mr. Travers at his own hanging, "The poor lad needed body warmth. But he was delirious and accidently sat on my dick! That's the truth!" Well, young George is one happy dude. Great chapter, Mark!
  19. That was a sweet chapter. I think the one thing that JP has in this relationship, that Marcel doesn't have, is perspective. Bring on the summer!
  20. Can we please get back to Eric and Jansen?
  21. The racoon reminds me of Mark for some reason.
  22. Well, Georgie and Iggy have worked things out.....or in, as the case may be. I'm wondering how Iggy will come back into the story. I'm positive we'll see him again. His lust alone for Georgie's sweet bottom will do it. Mr. Travers is acting aloof towards George. (Or is that a lout? ) I'm guessing he's struggling internally with his attraction to George. Mr. Travers should drink more! Excellent action in this chapter. George shows his courage and commitment to his Captain and his crewmates. Yeah, pirates would be good. Why didn't I think of that? Great chapter, Mark!
  23. Arrrgg, maties, chapter 3 is up on the main mast! :chris:
  24. Hey Goat-buddy, When I was in Italy, I never got more north than Milan. The Alps sound delicious....nothing like the alpine meadow grasses for a great meal. I spent 3 days on the Italian Riviera. Really nice. Only problem was no parking so I spent the 3 days driving around. Stay away from Florence unless you want to od on Renaissance art.
  25. Mr. Granger (George) has just made Iggy his slave for the night and we're talking dates? I declare a cliffhanger!! I'm really pleased that George stood his ground with Iggy and has the upper hand, at least for now. Definitely pay back time! So Mr Travers developed a concious? I think not! So, how do I join the Royal Navy?
