Excellent story. Eric giving notice was a surprise. I'm interested in where they'll end up at when they get on the cruiseliner now, especially with Felecia's plans. Will Eric and crew end up meeting the general and his son, along with Pvt Johnson?. Brian's new role is also interesting. I didn't see that one coming at all. Helen being an expert on dating surprised me as well, I'm almost ancient and I still don't know crap on dating. Having seen this prologue of events, I am willing to say that Marty is indeed comfortable with himself and his sexuality. Rocky (now Chandler) was not the leader of a group that tormented so many people, but a follower. Now he must lead and be led in return, as true partners, though Marty may not be his partner. (I can't say, as I've not seen anything to disclose the nature of their relationship). Instead he is stuck in a situation where he has to try and offer some guidance and care, and be himself for once (Chandler/Rocky, I mean) Hope that helps, Jon

I think Travis is going so he can pick a fight with Lyle and ruin the party, along with eat food. Remember, Travis wanted to kick Lyle's butt in a few previous chapters, and with him finding out about what happened to Ben, and why Dennis's relationship is so rocky with Leo, it basically justs adds fuel to the fire. Travis is the kind of guy that most likely would go after someone for bullcrap that they pulled, especially since Lyle and Dennis got into it in one of the other chapters, and since he doesn't have much of a care in the world for anything, he's not afraid of getting into fights. Just my take on the situation. Jon

Woot, Loved this story. It's definitely explaining things. all the things that are happening at this point in time seem to be well before the other stories, the prelude of all preludes. It'll be interesting to see if Argon and Phillip will interact with and shape the history of World in this timeline or if they will move forward to Argon's timeline. Perhaps even both? Hrm, what do you do if you're trying to have a conversation with an extremely shy person? I'd find it awkward myself, but I'm usually that shy quiet person, and everytime I open my mouth I feel like I'm saying stupid or coming across as stupid. Makes trying to get a 2nd date out of someone rather hard, heh, especially since it takes me a while to warm up to someone. Wonder if my behavior in this manner is a defense mechanism or something. LoL. I think I agree with you guys on this, I just find it ridiculous that I have a three bedroom house all to myself, and am able to cover all the bills and payments on my own. Mayhaps I won't have anymore roommates after all, just figured I'd try and make some money off the deal, alas, I think it's gonna cost me more money than what I was getting out of the deal. Hrm...so Kevin lives alone huh....Want a new pet? (I mean me) I'm quiet and clean up after myself, I even cook and clean, do back massages, etc. I also get along with other pets (I mean the furry/swimmy/slithering kind). Children are optional. I can totally respect that, especially if writing it brings up painful memories that com doesn't want to remember, and while the end of chapter 10 doesn't quite say so, I have a funny feeling that at that point in time Zach is gonna start fighting back and stop taking his father's crap, and everything will be fine. Did this story end at chapter 10 or is there still more to it? I want Zach to end up happy and the bastard father of his to end up in prison or something, seems like it'd be a fitting end for him. Just checking, Jon

Ouch, sorry you got evicted cause other people were uncomfortable with him around. I guess I should explain something here, the landlady is my mom. This used to be my dad's house and I'm paying to buy it from my mom. The roommate is also my cousin, and after I wrote this he got bailed out from jail and came back to try pushing me around a bit, but we ended up talking a bit like human beings, so I think we'll be okay, unfortunately the minute he put his hands on me was the minute I made the decision that he's gone one way or the other. Touching someone in an offensive manner is a definite no no in my book, especially after he started breaking stuff in the house itself. One of his friends though was polite enough and respected me enough to keep him away from me after he shoved me around. Soo..so far we have: Don't shove your roommate around Don't have parties against a roommate's wishes Don't call the police on your roommate without fair warning Don't allow family to move in with you, they'll try to walk all over you and get pissed when you let them know they can't do that anymore. Do have respect towards one another Do establish ground rules before anyone moves in. Do make sure you're compatible with one another. Am I missing anything? Jon

heh, I think some people do it just to start a fight. The roommate I'm kicking out of my house and his girlfriend do it to each other all the freaking time. It's annoying listening to them fight. Jon

Hello everyone, and welcome to this evening's discussion of roommates: Do's and Do Not's. My name is Jon and I'll be your host. Sorry for the sarcasm. I'm just curious, at what point in time do you draw the battle line between you and your roommate. My roommate has been living here for a couple of months now and and he seems to think he can sit here and party with whomever whenever he wants until 5 or 6 in the morning. Because of this, I've ended up adjusting my sleeping hours to reflect this, and find it to be a pain in the butt. He feels because he pays 5% of the rent and 5% of the bills that that entitles him to do whatever he wants, even though his name is not on the lease. The last time he had a party here an xbox 360 that didn't belong to him or myself was stolen, and it was at that point in time that I told him he could no longer have a party here, and the Landlady said he couldn't either or she'd come pack his stuff up herself. Tonight he ended up throwing a party anyways, even though after I tried warning him that I would call the police myself, due to the fact that he is a minor and most of his friends are minor's as well. Needless to say I ended up calling the police myself and I'm trying to figure out if I'm in the right or wrong. Just curious what everyone else's opinions are. Jon

I forgot about the picture part in the story. I'd agree with that too, that's a violation of privacy too. If I remember correctly as well, I think that was the first time Taylor had ever been in Luke's apartment, so some of what Taylor did I'm gonna pass off to Taylor trying to learn more about his "kinda boyfriend". In Hello Stupid, Luke told Taylor to let himself back in when he got done walking with the dog, and while he was kind of snooping a little bit, I think more of it was out of curiousity than anything else, I don't feel he was truly violating Luke's privacy within regards to that. Answering the phone wasn't really a violation of privacy either, as he left a message for Luke that Rory had called. If someone was at my house and I was unavailable to answer it than I would hope they'd pick up. Now snooping through someone's phone messages and txt messages is an extreme no no. I'd be seriously pissed if someone did that to me. Now, Taylor didn't snoop through Luke's bedroom, just through the common parts of the apartment that guests would be hanging out in anyways. If he'd gone into Luke's bedroom without permission, which is considered a private area, than that would also be extremely different, seeing as how I get pissed when people come into my bedroom without my permission, even if I have the door shut. Chapter 06 was posted here This is a story about a young child that was abused by his parents who ran away and came into the care of an older gay man that has recently broken up with his boyfriend who is scared of being outted. From what I'm gathering their were so many children in the young man Peter's life that his parent's didn't really have time for him, along with some signs of sexual abuse by the neighbor's daughter. From what I'm gathering we have an older brother named victor, and older brother gabe, and another older brother named Mike, along with another older brother named Benny? Then mom and dad. Middle child syndrome wasn't mentioned, but so far no more details about any other siblings have been mentioned in the story. I can't wait to read more to try and figure out the more intricate details of young Peter's home life. Keep up the good work. Jon

CJ.....Shadowgod.....hrm...I can't pick...Are we allowed to be neutral on this topic? Mayhaps we all could start writing out own chapters of DnCW like people have done over in Dom's forum..... Hrm, I'll have to re-read the chapters to be able to do that though....after I finish up writing chapter 04 of my story. Perhaps we should have a mediator between CJ and Shadowgod? Jon
