So I took this test for one of my classes tonight and I'm interested in seeing other people's results and how, as a group of individuals that for the most part have something in common, we all compare on our scores. The best way to do it is to right our your answers on a piece of paper.
My link
I scored a .75 in Moral Rights and a .75 in Justice.
How'd you all do? For a breakdown of the three categories we have:
I'm probably going to get yelled at for opening my mouth but... You were given my name by Cia. I was waiting for you to approach me first. There are also several other talented members (who have far more talent then myself) who can make a banner for you, such as Tarin and perhaps Lacey. (I'm not entirely sure about that one. I know he likes to mess with photoshop.) Drown is fairly talented as well. He made a Spider Webs banner for me that is far better then the one I have up right now. Off the top of my head those are the only names I can think of.
You're best bet would be to put up a post in the lounge, perhaps, and get another member who isn't part of staff to help you out. (Not meaning to sound rude here.) I just say that because they (the staff here) are extraordinarily busy with the other tasks that must be done when taking care of a sight as vast as this.
Hope this helps,
Linxe Termoil
Orders are orders. They had orders to observe and report. They called the police and followed those orders. They were not properly equipped to handle the situation. If they had had pepper spray, asps or were armed with deadly force then I would say yes, they should have intervened.
Other then that, I say they did nothing wrong. Those cops, on the other hand, should have been suspended, investigated, and fired.
Okay, maybe he was the cute one in the blue and black checkered hat, or at the aforementioned top front, the cute one with brown hair and glasses.
This is going to bug me all day now. So much for homework, heheh. Once again, Good Job.
Billy's the one in the yellow and blue striped beanie right?
Or perhaps he was the cute on in the front top right with the glasses on.
Okay, so seriously, good job. I'm still waiting for the rest of the video to load but I can't wait to see the rest of it.
I bet Lisa runs off and joins Trevor and Joel before she even gets to court; besides, lawsuits take forever to get filed and, there's no real cause of action. CJ was right when he did his research and the lawyer (Jim) within the chapter stated that using Infliction of Emotional Distress by withholding information as to Trevor's whereabouts would be tricky at best. I'm surprised he's not suing the police department for not doing their jobs and locating his son. That's negligence right there, and it could very well be placing a minor child at risk with them failing to do their jobs. Of course, it's out of their jurisdiction now, what with the boys having crossed international lines. I'm wondering when the CIA and Dep. of Homeland Security and FBI are going to get involved. Hrm....
Possible reasons that Dirk's wife tried to make it look like she was dead:
Tax Fraud/Evasion
Fake her death for the collection on the insurance policy. (Don't insurance companies need bodies?)
Possible mafia ties.
Witness Protection Program (perhaps they were witnesses to brutal mafia murders)
Uhm... Mom kidnapped Trevor, so he's not biologically theirs.
The reasons are so vast.
So. Elements for Intentional Emotional Distress (basically what you need for Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress as a Cause of Action)
The tort of intentional infliction of emotional distress has four elements:
(1) the defendant must act intentionally or recklessly;
(2) the defendant's conduct must be extreme and outrageous; and
(3) the conduct must be the cause
(4) of severe emotional distress. 943 S.W.2d 297. (Missouri)
NEGLIGENT INFLICTION OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS
The elements of a claim of negligent infliction of emotional distress are:
1. The defendant engaged in negligent conduct or a willful violation of a statutory standard;
2. The plaintiff suffered serious emotional distress;
3. The defendant's negligent conduct or willful violation of statutory standards was a cause of the serious emotional distress.
What do you guys think? Did Lisa violate a statutory standard by with holding information that violated a statutory law or a standard set by society's expectations?
Was any of her conduct extreme or outrageous?
Still don't know what the hell I am talking about?
Look Here (California) for more information on this tort that is very rarely used because it is so difficult to prove.
U.N. Resolution 1441 applies to Iraq.... Not the United States of America, and, quite frankly, The U.N. has no authority over here. I hate to say it but the U.N. has become nothing more then a doormat for the U.S. to wipe their feet on, or kick aside, in the event that the U.N. decides to get in the way of the U.S.
Sheila: Times have changed
Our kids are getting worse
They won't obey their parents
They just want to fart and curse!
Sharon: Should we blame the government?
Liane: Or blame society?
Dads: Or should we blame the images on TV?
Sheila: No, blame Canada
Everyone: Blame Canada
Sheila: With all their beady little eyes
And flapping heads so full of lies
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Sheila: We need to form a full assault
Everyone: It's Canada's fault!
Sharon: Don't blame me
For my son Stan
He saw the darn cartoon
And now he's off to join the Klan!
Liane: And my boy Eric once
Had my picture on his shelf
But now when I see him he tells me to f**k myself!
Sheila: Well, blame Canada
Everyone: Blame Canada
Sheila: It seems that everything's gone wrong
Since Canada came along
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Copy Guy: They're not even a real country anyway
Ms. McCormick: My son could've been a doctor or a lawyer rich and true,
Instead he burned up like a piggy on the barbecue
Everyone: Should we blame the matches?
Should we blame the fire?
Or the doctors who allowed him to expire?
Sheila: heck no!
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Sheila: With all their hockey hullabaloo
Liane: And that bitch Anne Murray too
Everyone: Blame Canada
Shame on Canada
For...
The smut we must stop
The trash we must bash
The Laughter and fun
Must all be undone
We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before somebody thinks of blaming uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus!!!!
I made my brother pay me back the $80.00 I spent on his birthday billing him out on a bill when that money is all I get for a whole entire month... I'd have taken him out for dinner or something...25 bucks, no problem.... 80 dollars.... problem. Especially since I don't buy ANYONE in my family gifts.
I don't believe in gifts unless you're the sexy blond guy that spends lots of time with me in my bed.
Ulterior motive. Most likely wanted his kid out of the house so he could shack up with Trevor's future evil step-witch...I mean, step-mom.
He's shown constant son over his son not having a 'normal' life because he wanted his kid away from that boat and not living a life like his mother had. He also wanted to squash any emotions Trevor had for his dear old mum; along with any resemblance or things in common they may have had. I just wish Trevor would get mad at his dad again and blurt out that him and his mom have a lot more in common then dear ol' Dirk thinks... they both like the sausage.
Yup, a really horrible father if you ask me.
It's spelled Offense you crazy canadian cousin of mine.
(On another note, does this mean I have to stop being a perv with some of these canadian lads, since they're like...American Cousins or something??? )
