JP's issue is driving Gathan crazy. He and Kristen are the only two that do not know his connectionto Kristen, well John may or may not have really paid attention to it. I wonder how they will take it when it comes out... That was really nice of Brad, Ella already has a trust and I imagine that Brad gave the amount he did to even out the situation between Ella and Gathan.

I really like the supper with Gathan and the others. I thought it was very well written and plotted out. I never understood those that try to make others feel small. Stef is the perfect person to take someone to Paris for the first time...
-
I hope that both Brad and Will remember that conversation. They need to know that they love each other even if they are fighting with each other... It is so easy to get mad at someone and lose all perspective on how you really feel toward each other.
-
Damn, I am going to have to start worrying about everyone's health everytime a group starts to head for Paris... I am glad that Will is going to get to spend some more time with JP... Maybe he can learn different ways to piss Brad off even more.
-
Well, I sort of like where this is going with Gathan and Kristen. It might make things a little more interesting... Glad to see that Jeanine and Tiffany are at least talking to each other. Hope they get back on a more even keel. Will needs to realize that John is just coming into his own. He may or may not be gay. He may not even know himself yet. Plus, he would not be the first guy that ever loved a guy enough to sleep with that one paticular guy but really preferred women.

Well all the family drama of Will and his group gave way to the family drama between Gathan and Zach. I really don't understand Zach and what he is trying to pull here. He is obviously up to something but damn, if I can figure out what. I defintely don't like his attitude about his rich cousins. Not sure Gathan should really be thinking about how good a kisser Will is when he is trying to make the move a the hottest girl in town... Woulld Kristen be JP's great niece?
-
Hmmm, well Will and John are going to Paris with Stef, I wonder how pissed off this will make Jeanine. I see Will's point on this to a certain extent but when push comes to shove, your parents opinion should count for something...
-
Is it just me or does Will seem to be way more mature than his age suggest? He has all of these rational arguments and is just so passionate about what he believes in...
-
There is a saying here in Texas that you pay for your upraising... It basically means that how you treat your parents is how you get treated as a parent... JP should be setting somewhere laughing his ass off over how Will goes after Brad..

Chapter 6: The Real One
centexhairysub commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 6: The Real One
Robbie and Will seem to be on a better footing. I hope that contiues. Robbie seems to understand where Will is coming from better right now than Brad does. Even a grazing shot hurts like a mother... Gathan gets big bonus points for this... I bet JJ is still gonna be pissed at him though... -
Chapter 6: April Fool's Day
centexhairysub commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 6: April Fool's Day
You are a bad bad man, Mr Arbour -
Jeanine can really pick which guys to sleep with, this kid is going to be hot no matter who the father is... I am glad that Will and John seem to have made up; I am not sure I see them as long term boyfriends but I can see them as best friends just like their dads... A little strange to see Sam's widow and children. I am sort of suprised by Tony considering his father's past...

I really enjoyed this chapter. I like being able to see what Will is thinking and feeling from his own point of view. I hope that he works it out with John. I can see him calling Brad on trying to run his life, Brad hated it when JP did it to him so why would he think his own son was different. You only know about Gathan's other two encounters from an after the fact one sided explanation from him. While it sounds like it was very close to rape, I am not sure I would use that term after re-reading this. I do think he needs to work on his issues and should see the counselor that Brad wants him to in California...

Stef is the love doctor....
-
I was pretty sure that was the issue between Will and John and Zach. I have to wonder how it will all play out. Will probably has the influence through his family to stand up to the cops. Small towns/cities are very much like that, who you are really matters...
-
Great start to this story. Good to see Gathan defend his sister and take out Fred. He does need to watch his temper some, will have to deal with JP if he doesn't... Still think that Will caught Zach and John doing something or starting to do something...
-
This was a great set up for the whole story. Coming back and re-reading this I can see where this fit so well...

Well, I don't think Hornblower had George Granger's social skills or charisma either....

This is in response to a couple of comments about Cody. For some reason, I can't get the quote button to work right now... I don't think anyone is condemning Cody for going to Brad instead of trying to find out about Maddie. I think that I and several people commented on this to bolster our contention that he has never shown much interest in her or her welfare. Cody was around Darius, Will, and JJ when they were younger and never really related to them much either, or at least not that we saw... Cody did take an interest in both Alejandro and Casey in the story If It Fits but they were in their mid to late teens and I think he understood how to relate to them. Plus, he was asked by Stef to help with them both... Cody has always been one of my favorite characters but I just dont think the fact that he fathered a child suddenly changed his outlook on life or his behaviour. Unfortunately, I see all to often that being the biological father or mother of a child does not indicate that the person will be a good parent. I think that men espeically often don't have that connection because frankly after the conception part is done, they can really take the next nine months off unless they are with the mother; often they do that even if they are with the mother... There simply has not been enough background information given to indicate if there were any formal agreements between Jeanine and Cody regarding Madison. The fact that the child's name was Madison Graves would at least indicate that Cody was not involved enough or did not care enough that the child did not carry his name, I am reading my own issues into that but... I am pretty sure that Cody did not even come to the hospital when she was born. Jeanine may have gotten Cody to sign away full custody to the baby; I could really see her doing this especially after she became involved so deeply with Hank. I don't know how enforceable those agreements would be in light of Jeanine's death in either California or New York; Tim, what do you think??? I am not saying that Cody could not or will not develop some paternal feeling for Madison but I also don't think it would be unusual for him to take no interest in her or her future either... We will all just have to wait and see where Mark takes us on this journey.

I would have liked the Gonna Take a Miracle better for that moment but after you explained your reasoning, I fully understand why you went with what you did...

Help Wanted: Fashionista
centexhairysub replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
In the early 2000's both Prada and Dolce&Gabbana made some of the best neckties for men with style but you could never go wrong with neckties by John Varvatos or Burberry with Christopher Bailey as the designer either. Both John Varvatos and Christopher Bailey were big names in men's fashion in the early 2000's... Westie is right, for suites Savile Row but I think in paticular Weatherill, Huntsman, Kilgour, or Norton & Sons. Those are the four best of the Savile Row shops... Tradition does mean something in this family and I would suspect one of those four have probably been serving the Crampton/Schulter clans for generations... -
Magnificent...

Well, I am really disturbed by this but I can see and understand why Brad did what he did... For me the most important thing will be what happens next; can Brad be saved???
-
I have no doubt that Brad and Stef and the others will win in the end but I still worry about what it will cost them. I honestly can't believe that Carson was dumb enough to go after Will even just to piss Brad off.
-
Okay, Will is obviously pissed at John as much as Zach, this makes me think something happened between them and Will either found out or walked in on it. I sense a real distrubance in the force...
