Going back, even after only a year, will be harder than you think. Nothing stays the same, and everything changes in unexpected ways.

I will just have to see; I generally do not read fan fiction, but given the author will try this one out.

Sounds more than a little rough, but have added it to my list of things to read.

Honestly, the last place sound like with a little work it could be great. And you don't have to keep the full garden experience, after the current season downsize it and put in what you really want and what you can easily care for; plus, the greenhouse will allow Toby to get something that he is really interested in started and maybe ready to move out into the wild. Maybe bees? Unless you live where you can do everything by walking or biking easily, you have to compromise your beliefs somewhere, just have to decide where you are willing to draw the line. This could be so much fun. LOL

Almost seems like things are going to well. Of course, I have to be watching for storm clouds, you never know what will blow up or in. There is never enough time to get everything done in a day when it comes to farming and ranching, always something else to be done. Prioritize what you need to do first and then work the other jobs in between times when you can get a few extra minutes. Glad there are four of them, they will all need to pitch in to get good and ready for winter. Chickens and pigs are always good to have, they both provide food and something to sell, but both can take some work as well. Can't wait to see what else happens next.

I hate Daylight Savings Time with a purple passion. Can't wait for the next anthology...

Well, I don't guess any of that was really out of bounds, somewhat juvenile, but then they are, so there is that. Kurtis clearly has shown he is the Alpha male. He handled things the correct way.

None of the actions, confessions, or reactions really surprised me. Some of it I saw coming and some of them are just life. You live it and sometimes it goes well, and sometimes it bites you in the ass. Both Troy and Owen are decent guys and they both deserve to be happy; is that with each other, probably not, but they helped each other grow up and that is in no way a bad thing. They are both moving to figure out what they want, and they need space and time for that. Let's hope they both end up happy.

Julian had two very different dreams of Sam, both meant something different. Julian has to know that Sam would only wish the best for him, and he would want Julian to go on and move forward with his life, Sam's death can't stop Julian's life from going forward, and Julian has to find a way to realize that and work towards it. Hana, Daniel, Koa, and Clarke all will play a part in helping Julian move forward. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Well, this first sleepover went about as well as could possibly be imagined. Oliver and Julian mesh in several ways; but have just enough differences in several areas to make things more than a little interesting. I too love history and politics; so, all of that plays right into my wheelhouse. Honestly, any of Tuchman's books or essays are worth a second or third read at least. The house sound eclectic and comfortable, not always an easy combination to pull off. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Travis is still going to have some significant mood swings for a while; Will or whomever is around him is going to just have to deal with that aspect. If Travis stands by Will, the medical staff really could not do much; but their stories could complicate several aspects of both Will and Travis's life. I am glad that Marie and John are both happy about the new baby. Travis's team, and let's face it, that is really the family for the most part, have handled his absence better than I would have thought they could. There will still be some residual issues that will surface, but as long as they stay focused on their story and stick to it, Travis should come through this as long as he doesn't relapse. So many things going on, what will be the next shoe to fall.

Miles thought he was ready for his dinner with Troy, and I am sure that Troy did as well, but they were not... That kiss is a screaming demon of a danger sign, but not sure that either of them are going to fully recognize it. Troy initiated the kiss and Miles stopped it, but those storm clouds I saw previously have turned into full blown tornado weather. I so love Marco Polo...

These type stories are so interesting to read, and we have a few really great choices to pick from here. As always, @Myr, thanks for the dive...

What about Daisy? How did they end up finding them? Jamie and Connor will take time to adjust, sounds like Jamie is doing better than Connor; but they need time to figure out who they are back in civilization, and how they are going to deal with who they are now. Imagine burying your child, only to discover they are alive... WOW.

The sea is a cruel mistress, and Julian has lost Sam to her. Julian may well blame himself at some point, if only he had insisted that Sam stay with him; but Sam was an honest and loyal man and he had given his word to the captain and he would not have left the boat before fulfilling his obligations. To go from such joy to such sorrow will make it harder on Julian; but he has those that do truly care for him around him, and they will do what they can to ease his suffering. Daniel will be with him, and we can all hope that Sam's death does not cause a wedge to come between them. Sam would have wished only the best for Julian. Just really sad...

A delightful mix of new characters and old friends that we have enjoyed for so many stories. A new protagonist that comes from such a different background but finds his life in the midst of our usual friends and their families. You would not really have to read the previous Seachange stories, but they would definitely be beneficial to understand some of the minutia and background information that comes out in certain areas. That said, this is mostly the story of a new protagonist and his fitting into these established settings. Don't want to say too much so that any surprises are maintained. Sit back with a lovely glass of tea and perhaps a scone or two and enjoy this newest story in this delightful saga.

And the choice will be.... A lovely story that is a wonderful mix of newer characters and just enough of the familiar characters to blend in and give us that wonderful feeling of joy and happiness that there is so much love and friendship in the world around us. Levi has come full turn; he took a trip back to see his mother's grave and visit some familiar things. He has Jamie to take care of and try to be the best big brother he can be to Jamie. He has his friends and Brooke, and now perhaps Toby as well. Can't wait to see that next story in this wonderful saga.

Well, we got some background on a stop on the way to the event. Some interesting ways for this to go from here. I do like the two main protagonists, but both Cliff and Gary just annoyed me, hope we don't see much of them. Can't wait to see where you take this one.

Have enjoyed all of these stories, and while I would like for them to continue, you must do what is right for you, your feelings, and your writing. Hope to see a new story from you soon, you are simply too talented to keep these stories to yourself, even if we are greedy gits, they do brighten our days and nights and give us all something to look forward to. All the best on any future endeavors.

Glad your recovery continues, but take care and don't rush yourself... Runyan and Willie James have their own place to live, yes, it is part of Barnswallow, but just separate enough that they will be able to live their own lives as well. They need to be able to a rhythm and establish their own lives. Find a way to mesh their lives and find something that they can both help support themselves and that they enjoy. Let's just hope they are far enough from their old place that no one sees and reports back to their families. I think that Runyan's family learned their lesson about saying anything, but Willie James's father would cause trouble just because of the hate that he carries in his own soul. August and Fletcher as well as Runyan and Willie James are all making plans, can't wait to see what becomes of them.

I am so hoping that the ones entombed in the stone are not removed and subject to this. Never a pleasant job, but one that is necessary in all communities and cultures.

I would so have that gym teacher fired. Any teacher that knowingly allows hazing of any type, especially what happened on days one and two should be fired and honestly arrested. The fact that Kurtis had the good sense to ask Connie before trying to kiss her says a lot about him. Carl is an ass, why is there always a few of them around, and why does anyone else ever listen to them?

Troy is going to have to be honest with himself, first and foremost. He had told Owen about the texting and the dinner, why not be open about the beach? Troy and Owen seem to be falling into a rut of sorts; with occasional bouts of outstanding sex. But is that enough to justify keeping a wedding planner busy? Like a few of the others, Owen seems more distracted and more involved than I would have expected for it being end of term, even with having the responsibilities of being a department head. Maybe the job interview, or maybe something else, we will see. Miles is being the gentleman, just keeping it light and easy and keeping everything out front and honest. Why do see storm clouds gathering in the distance???

A treat that will not soon be forgotten. Each person was touched by Julian's generosity from the youngest child to the oldest of the workers. They all received a blessing on good stewardship from Julian. Julian and Daniel grow ever closer; Daniel knows that Julian's heart belongs to Sam. But that begs the question, just where is this going between them? Beautifully written, the colors, smells, and scents of the day just leapt off the page.

Well, a truly interesting start, and so much going on. We already have a number of truly interesting characters and of course a delightful and charming setting or two already coming into focus. Can't wait to see what happens next.
