Thanks for the look back at the week, and the words of the week were great this time, actually had to look up three of them, first time in a while that I didn't know them. Okay, I will say it loudly and proudly, I HATE I-phones, I actually do not care for Apple products in general, but the computers are definitely better than the phones. I have had two Apple cell phones over the years, one was a gift, and the other I paid way too much for, and did not keep either six months. I have had the Galaxy's for some time now, and just like them so much more. Hope everyone has a great week ahead.

Damn, glad I was already on my way to the shower... I wonder what the Alpha mating involves if Aaron thinks it is funny and can't wait for Austin to find out. Xavier and Evelyn have to join the fight, I suspect at least one will not come back, and I think since Xavier will be Austin's mate that leaves Evelyn, but hope I am wrong. This is going to be vicious.

Glad that Troy has moved on with his life; or has he? Having that much emotion just looking at the painting and not being able to have it around means that at least on some level, he isn't over Miles. I wonder if he really knows what the issue with Miles was or is he just guessing. Sounds like everyone is doing as well or better than expected. Glad that Troy has someone in his life, and Owen does seem nice. When will the next disaster strike?

Julian has made a decision, he will purchase the plantation from his father, without his knowledge. Let's hope the sale goes through, have to wonder what his father will feel when he gets the money, but finds that his son has stayed behind? I wonder how made he will be, someone moving out of his control. I do think that Julian should pay what his father wants for the plantation, it will make it less complicated in the end, and I suspect that the plantation is worth more, his father just wants out without losing more money either in devaluation, or in having it stolen as before. Like @drsawzall, I wish he could get his brother away from his father, but think that some doing, and perhaps an act of divine intervention. Julian is doing what all that go into a venture like this, get to know the land and the people from the first. I do hope that Sam is thinking of Julian as much as Julian is of him, and hope that he is safe, nothing about the sea is certain.

Another excellent chapter, well written and flowed just beautifully. So glad that Neil is getting a mention in the magazine, something like that can truly open doors. And even more so, Edwin actually comes through with something that makes sense, and allows Neil to be close to Alex, but still having his own space. The mothers went above and beyond getting the apartment cleaned up and painted. I hope the picture turns out well; the best photographers can always get you off your game and find a way to make the picture more natural.

Will is back. He explained why and where he went and what he did while there. Like Jessica, I do worry that the cocktail that Travis is on will kill him if something isn't done quickly, I know Will has a plan, but waiting a week could be deadly for Travis. @PrivateTim is right, Will has to get both medical and counselors on board to take care of Travis, and try and get him back on track, that said, keeping Travis locked up, unless he consents, would put anyone taking part in peril of professional jeopardy. Jake, at least, should have been checking in on Travis. A little family involvement could have made sure this never happened in the first place. How is Will going to get Travis onto the boat? If Travis doesn't go willingly, even with the drug issues, it is kidnapping, and once again anyone taking part could put their license at risk.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with, I just love these...

You just do what you can do to help. Keep your head down and do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. Don't get your life so entwined with theirs that it causes issues. But often just listening and not being judgmental can go a long way. Proud of Levi making the effort.

Well, we know Robbie's story but have not learned the big secret that Miles is holding onto. Let's hope that sailing and being on the open sea will lead to some healing, but I think until Miles deals with whatever it is, with therapy or something more, it will stay an open wound. Miles is working out his issues, but what about Troy. Troy is not going to do well when he finds out that Erick has hidden what he has.

Daisy opens up, the boys find out the truth about Dale. Connor and Jamie are getting closer and closer. The orca is back, I have to wonder about its connection to Jamie. Will the plane be their salvation? There should be a radio on it, of course Dale could have hidden parts of it, and as small as those would be, you would be hard pressed to find it.

Kurtis and Anthony seem to be moving forward rapidly with the expectation that Kurtis is Anthony's son. And I am sure he is. Kurtis misses his mother, of course, but knows that the situation there was simply untenable. That doesn't mean that moving and leaving it all behind will be as easy as it has seemed so far. Bernie will cause problems, that is just the kind of person he is. Let's hope that everything in Virginia continues as easy as it has been so far; but somehow, I doubt it. LOL

Because of his grandmother's legacy, Julian can afford to pay what his father wants for the plantation, and have enough money left for an emergency fund if needed. It would allow him to become independent of his father, to in essence become his own man. The previous overseer stole large sums of money from place, and Augustus Wentworth had no idea, he picked a man that could not be trusted, and it was much too late when he discovered the deceit. But per what Mr. Clarke said, he knew before he sent Julian out to the islands to take over. Why? If he was going to simply sell the plantation, why send Julian that far, he could have found somewhere closer to exile him? Was it a fit a rage, or planned out? This is truly a mystery to me. Julian has chosen to see and look over the land by foot; this will allow him to feel the land, to see the people, and get a better understanding of the life of the plantation. It also allows the workers and those that depend on the plantation to see him, to take his measure. Pre-colonization views on same sex relationships in the Kingdom of Hawaii were widely accepted and honored. It was only the advent of the missionaries that forced a change in their society. Julian and Sam, if he returns, would have to be careful, but not fearful on the plantation itself of their relationship being discovered. It would be more the colonial society that would look down on it, as much because of the difference in social levels between Julian and Sam as the fact they are two men.

Glad that there was not more damage to Matt's leg, two clean breaks from the sound of it; take my word, could have been much much worse. Loved that Levi just walked past Casey and his cohorts, feeling nothing and knowing it was the right decision. Levi got a couple of offers, the lawn work would be great; but the counseling might be as well, help him as much as the ones doing the talking. Beautiful chapter.

Sad that Alex never got a chance to talk to Yel again, wish he had taken a day and gone to see Yel and Bart, even if just to say goodbye. There are people that are in your life, but for a brief time. They may truly be dear friends, then life and the universe separates you, but always best to say goodbye. Alex and Neil grow closer with each knew experience in their lives, so glad that Neil went with Alex to the memorial. Glad that Alex and Neil are on the same wavelength about children, few relationships survive when those in them aren't. This chapter made me sad, not just the death, and I can't explain why exactly, just a feeling of melancholy and sadness.

Where the hell was Jake or any of the family when Travis was falling prey to Kendo? Why wasn't anyone checking on him? They should have all known how hard he would have it dealing with Will being across the country and him going into a business that easts it's young regularly... Why didn't Travis open up about what he was going through, how freaking stupid was he that Kendo was able to worm his way into his life honestly, without many problems. Therapy???? Austin was never going to work; he honestly telegraphed that from the first... Good Riddance... Will has decided on isolation, he let one person in, Marie, and she failed the entrance exam. Travis is just going to get sucked in deeper and deeper by Kendo unless either he pulls his head out of his ass, doubtful, or someone else realizes what is going on. Will is going to have to decide how he really feels about what Travis has done and why. God help Kendo if he reaches the right conclusion.

First things first, I warned you about a relapse, always harder to get well a second time around. I do hope you get some rest and get to feeling better soon. Wonderful chapter, so full of love and generosity of spirit. Well, a lot more to Barnswallow than any realized, three hundred acres is a nice spread, not much for cattle unless the grass is truly thick and green or you can feed them; but more than enough to get August and Fletcher started. On top of that, money in the bank, and that is never anything to sneeze at. And Harriet opened up about her and Dorothea after she got August and Fletcher to open up about themselves. Glad that she and Dorothea both found happiness again after their marriages and the death of their spouses, not all do. Well, the boys need to get back to Runyan, and we need to find out what is going on with Wilie James, where in the tarnation has he gone to?

Alpenglow? Had never heard of this before, first time in a while that the words of the day had one that I did not know. Sounds gorgeous after I found out what it was, LOL. When I was growing up back in the horse and buggy days, we never started school until after Labor Day; but now days, in my part of Texas, everyone has been back in school for ten days to up to three weeks depending on the level of school it is... Sure, do wish we had some of that rain you or forecast for, most of Texas is still way to dry right now.

I guess the most important question will be, will they leave the bed between now and the challenge? The shift was forced in a really horrible way. Drowning is a horrible way to die, and the body really fights against it; of course, that is what probably brought on the shift, but still. Xavier was so pissed at Aaron and tried to take it out on him. Aaron understood and let him. Did the Alpha's call the other wolves to him or was it just for Xavier?

Damn, have to wonder what is in Miles past that the therapy has dug up? Does it predate the situation with his uncle? Well, you knew this was not going to be rainbows and unicorns, but damn, that was fast.

Travis is a total idiot. Kendo is a dead man walking and doesn't realize it.

Really enjoyed getting the Major's point of view on this, and true bonus points that he so immediately stepped up and did the right thing. Can't wait to see what happens next.

So glad that Evan was able to find a tutor for Neil, and Emmer seems like someone that might be able to really help Neil. Neil knows how to work with wood, he might still learn more; but Emmer will show Neil how to look at his art and the world. Let's hope that Neil finds more confidence in himself, and allows Emmer to lead him forward. Glad that Neil has Alex to help push him to move forward.

The sea has separated Julian and Sam, but we can hope in a few months, the sea will bring them back together. The first group of people that Julian meets at the plantation seem very welcoming and open; honestly, a little shocked by this. I would have thought his father would have had an unpleasant surprise waiting for him, or have we just not seen it yet? And now the work begins, what will Julian be able to accomplish, and what will he be constricted by?
