One Cat to rule them all.....

@kbois so glad you are coming to the cat side of life. LOL Well, Troy and Owen have a lovely life, jobs they enjoy, family they care about, and they are getting married. But one sound of Miles voice sends Troy down a rabbit hole. A wonderful achievement for Troy on the illustration work, he is truly a talented artist. But how right for each other are he and Owen if the sound of Miles voice does that to Troy? Has Troy ever talked about Miles to Owen? Does Owen even know that Miles existed? He obviously does not know what he looks like, or he would have blocked that vlog a long time ago... Yikes.

Julian has severed the last link holding him to his father; and I know he will be better for it, and let's hope honestly, that his father is as well, for his brother's sake if nothing else. Julian has taken the first steps into his new life. Mr. Clarke and those at the plantation will help him as he starts, but let's hope that Sam returns and helps Julian settle into his new life, their new life. So lyrical and the descriptive writing is simply wonderful.

Another wonderful addition to this authors line up. @Robert Hugill has done it again. A pair that we immediately fall in love with, even when they are working out what they are. And a host of secondary characters that we all wish we had in our lives. Well written as always and perfectly paced with things moving to and fro at just the right moment. With side stories that never stole the light away from the main storyline but gave us something else to be amazed by and to care about. You can always count on any story in the Hugillverse to be a delight, and this one certainly is.

Loved this chapter, and it was very satisfying. We have come full circle to some extent. Neil is much more comfortable in his skin, and Alex has learned to appreciate Neil and so much around him. They have moved forward together, step by step and many of those incrementally. They have those in their lives that they care for and that care for them. They have both moved forward in their careers since getting together, and I don't think that is a coincidence at all. Lovely story, and I do hope we visit them again.

Oh Lord, Will is in fine mettle. I do not believe that he will actually out Travis, I don't think he even would do that to Kendo, but he might arrange a bat party in a dark alley for him. Travis is so unaware of what all Kendo is doing to him, the drugs are already tightening their grip on him and making it easier of Kendo to control him. Don't know what all Will is up to, but I have a feeling it is about to get fast and furious in Travis's house.

I always knew that Casey was evil, from the very beginning. I hope that Levi just lets it go, Casey will eventually get his, maybe way in the future, but he will. And what might happen if Levi tries to get back at him just isn't worth it. Jamie will be slow to trust, but I do hope that Levi, Matt, and Luke continue to have him around, don't promise things that you can't deliver, but having someone that wants him around and believes in him will help more than you can imagine.

I am glad that Miles finally is getting the therapy that he needs, and sounds as if it has been ongoing for a while. He will miss Robbie, and Robbie him. Hitting all the states sounds like a good idea, but New Jersey? A kitten on a motorcycle, well, we will see. Love the name though, Marco Polo...

Julian wants to know how each facet of the plantation work is done; what is involved, and how to do it. He doesn't need to be proficient at them all, but understanding the process will help guide him. The idea of buying the land next to the plantation is wise, expansion, as long as it is not done haphazardly should always be the goal. He has additional money as a buffer, but better to use as little of that as possible, don't give anyone the idea it is there, or there will always be those that will try and take it. Julian and Mr. Clarke have arrived on the Big Island and will move forward with the purchase of the land from his father. Julian has the money and the means to protect it, let's hope it is not needed.

Loved all the different looks at how different individuals, both Orc and Human looks at this world, or the world when the letters were written. Really felt that I was getting something that helps me to understand the world being created here.

Lovely chapter, Alex and Neil are moving forward, and things seem to be progressing. Glad that Charlie seems to have had a good time in Paris and that he seems to be moving on. Much speculation about Edwin, but I don't suppose we will ever know, but sure am curious. I will miss all of these characters when we move away from them, but perhaps we will get a sneak at them at some point in the future.

All of his stories have been simply extrodinary.

Well damn, Runyan like to have run off and left Willie James because he was in such a hurry to find him that he didn't check the place out. The men are home, all of them. The trip from town was somber, as they were all worried about Willie James. Looks like most of the farms in the area are doing well, that one sounds like it is either too small or the land just stays too wet and not much good for anything other than grazing. Now we get to see the place.

Glad that Jamie and Callum got to come out and that Levi, Jimmy, and Dan got to meet them and they all got along. Sounds like the weekend was a success. Hope when Jamie and Callum start school that it goes okay and Casey and his idiots stay well away from them. Not sure what the deal with Brooke is, she would not have been comfortable with all the guys and her the only girl, or I don't think so. The police are hearing things but still don't know the truth. Levi has more in his corner than he realizes.

Thanks for the look back at the week, and the words of the week were great this time, actually had to look up three of them, first time in a while that I didn't know them. Okay, I will say it loudly and proudly, I HATE I-phones, I actually do not care for Apple products in general, but the computers are definitely better than the phones. I have had two Apple cell phones over the years, one was a gift, and the other I paid way too much for, and did not keep either six months. I have had the Galaxy's for some time now, and just like them so much more. Hope everyone has a great week ahead.

Damn, glad I was already on my way to the shower... I wonder what the Alpha mating involves if Aaron thinks it is funny and can't wait for Austin to find out. Xavier and Evelyn have to join the fight, I suspect at least one will not come back, and I think since Xavier will be Austin's mate that leaves Evelyn, but hope I am wrong. This is going to be vicious.

Glad that Troy has moved on with his life; or has he? Having that much emotion just looking at the painting and not being able to have it around means that at least on some level, he isn't over Miles. I wonder if he really knows what the issue with Miles was or is he just guessing. Sounds like everyone is doing as well or better than expected. Glad that Troy has someone in his life, and Owen does seem nice. When will the next disaster strike?

Julian has made a decision, he will purchase the plantation from his father, without his knowledge. Let's hope the sale goes through, have to wonder what his father will feel when he gets the money, but finds that his son has stayed behind? I wonder how made he will be, someone moving out of his control. I do think that Julian should pay what his father wants for the plantation, it will make it less complicated in the end, and I suspect that the plantation is worth more, his father just wants out without losing more money either in devaluation, or in having it stolen as before. Like @drsawzall, I wish he could get his brother away from his father, but think that some doing, and perhaps an act of divine intervention. Julian is doing what all that go into a venture like this, get to know the land and the people from the first. I do hope that Sam is thinking of Julian as much as Julian is of him, and hope that he is safe, nothing about the sea is certain.

Another excellent chapter, well written and flowed just beautifully. So glad that Neil is getting a mention in the magazine, something like that can truly open doors. And even more so, Edwin actually comes through with something that makes sense, and allows Neil to be close to Alex, but still having his own space. The mothers went above and beyond getting the apartment cleaned up and painted. I hope the picture turns out well; the best photographers can always get you off your game and find a way to make the picture more natural.

Will is back. He explained why and where he went and what he did while there. Like Jessica, I do worry that the cocktail that Travis is on will kill him if something isn't done quickly, I know Will has a plan, but waiting a week could be deadly for Travis. @PrivateTim is right, Will has to get both medical and counselors on board to take care of Travis, and try and get him back on track, that said, keeping Travis locked up, unless he consents, would put anyone taking part in peril of professional jeopardy. Jake, at least, should have been checking in on Travis. A little family involvement could have made sure this never happened in the first place. How is Will going to get Travis onto the boat? If Travis doesn't go willingly, even with the drug issues, it is kidnapping, and once again anyone taking part could put their license at risk.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with, I just love these...

You just do what you can do to help. Keep your head down and do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. Don't get your life so entwined with theirs that it causes issues. But often just listening and not being judgmental can go a long way. Proud of Levi making the effort.

Well, we know Robbie's story but have not learned the big secret that Miles is holding onto. Let's hope that sailing and being on the open sea will lead to some healing, but I think until Miles deals with whatever it is, with therapy or something more, it will stay an open wound. Miles is working out his issues, but what about Troy. Troy is not going to do well when he finds out that Erick has hidden what he has.
