  1. By my best guestimation we should be celebrating JJ's 20th birthday somewhere around February 6th, 2023. I guess that will make you about 37 years, 3½ months then?
  2. Given that Mark averaged four days, eighteen hours, forty minutes and forty-two seconds between chapters on Paternity, and it was only two days, seventeen hours and two minutes between the end of Millennium and the debut of Poor Man's Son, and four days, nine hours and thirty-nine minutes between the end of Poor Man's Son and debut of Paternity, I expect the new book to debut sometime around late afternoon on this coming Tuesday, at the latest. :-D Mark, words can't express my deep appreciation of your talent as a writer, how thankful I am to have such wonderfully enthralling stories to read and enjoy, nor the sinful pleasure I find in having this one little escape from my mundane existence to look forward to. Thanks and keep up the great work!
  3. I never meant any slight to Brad's and Robbie's handling of the situation. I just meant to point out that through no fault of their own, even the most proactive parents can be completely oblivious at times.
  4. I would tend to classify Brad's (as well as the rest of the family's) reaction as ignorance rather than stupidity.
  5. I have to disagree. It has only been two years (almost to the day) since Matt discovered Wade and his father. It seems to me Wade has been the exception given how quickly he has forgiven his father. JJ is far more immature than Wade was and appears to be far more psychologically scarred by the experience than Wade was. From my limited experience, the rule is generally most abused sons rarely if ever forgive their abusers to the extent Wade has his father.
  6. I don't particularly care for Tony and think he's bad news for Will, so I wouldn't care to see him make an exit. Maybe something akin to his brutally mauling a hapless passerby after huffing bath salts, perhaps? But alas, that's about 12 years ahead of the timeline. I guess it would have to be something more chronologically appropriate, like alcohol poisoning.
  7. Dare I say the dosage was obviously inadequate as well?
  8. Robbie needs to remove his anterior from his posterior and take a few breaths before he succumbs to asphyxiation. I can't help feel that JJ is rapidly circling the drain. There seriously needs to be a professional intervention take place before he winds up as bat s#!t as Jeanine, or dead.

  10. To everyone here at GA, may you all have a Happy and Blessed New Year filled with love, happiness and prosperity. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
  11. Methinks you're being far too kind, Daddydavek. Robbie 'stumbles' with all the sublety, thoughtfulness and finesse of a juggernaut.
  12. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mark, may your holidays be blessed with family, friends and fellowship! Thank you for your patience and all the work you do to keep us, your faithful readers, entertained. To the authors of GA and my fellow readers, may you all be blessed with a safe and wonderful holiday season. Hope everyone is far enough from our forecast Christmas Night Blizzard so as not to risk life or limb if they should have to be out! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
  13. In spite of how evil the simpering little bitch is, where JJ is concerned, there's been too many kids met their untimely demise of late.
  14. Congratulations Mark on two incredibly well-deserved milestones!
  15. Methinks we just caught a glimpse of Will's redemption and possibly Robbie's downfall.
  16. Thanks Mark for these last six chapters, they've not only been some incredibly good writing, they've also been a godsend! I had all but lost interest until Chapter 68 posted, yet once again I'm enthralled. Kudos!
  17. Oh Lordy! Wednesday nights it was Dynasty, on Thursday nights it was Knot's Landing, and then on Friday it was Dallas and Falcon Crest. Until I went to work on second shift in late '82, EVERYTHING revolved around those three shows.
  18. Given that Mark was dropping a new chapter on us approximately every 4½ days, we're just now 3 chapters in arears. And no, it's not been three weeks, it's only been 13 days. Meanwhile Mark, we'll all be patiently waiting for you to get rested up. I'm sure we're all waiting with bated breath to hear how Mark got his groove back.
  19. So when Mark's hiatus is over he's gonna get his groove on?
  20. That almost sounds like a dare...
  21. Given that Brad and Robbie seldom mix with common folk, I don't see them flying commercial, even if it was first class. Frankly, I see far too much drama to be derived from an adversarial Brad/Will relationship, so I don't see their untimely demise happening. Although I don't think Brad is redeemable in his current state, an epiphany and reconciliation would make for plenty of dramatic fodder, too.
  22. Having grown up just a stone's throw from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, I had the pleasure of patronizing "The Strip", as well as attending a few of the citywide Halloween 'celebrations'. SIU-C held the distinction of being the number one party school for many years starting in the 70's and the students went well above and beyond the call of duty to maintain that title. These days nightlife seems a bit tame in comparison.
