  1. Hey guys, I've posted some of my poetry on eFiction so Here They Are. I'll say this about it, I'm not an authority on poetry, I don't know whats good and whats not, and writing it is a learning experience so I'll put both the good and not so good for everyone to see, that way I can make it better and work more towards great poetry. Thanks, and check it out!
  2. This is probably my favourite stanza. I don't know much about poetry but this is very powerful to me as a reader. Also to mention the comments made above. I quite frankly love the last stanza, it's neat and tidy and has a strong message that I think would lack without it. Great Poem, could read it over and over.
  3. This is beautiful, absolutely. It's so powerful and even though I have little knowledge of the events mentioned. I still can understand this completly.
  4. Sure I'll Play.. But may I add, there are some definite cuties out here I'm the one on the right..... After I shaved my luxirous waves off. They were both taken in boredom as me and this beautiful girl were walking to get coke and red-rock-deli chips....
  5. Thanks guys, as usual helpful as ever! Wish me luck! - M
  6. Hey Guys, I figured everyone here would be the best ones to ask, My question is simple. What qualifies as a short story, as in content. I ask because I've been writing something called. "Fallout. 'A Letter'." It's basically a letter from one friend to another talking about how each of them have changed over time and why it's happened etc. And upon finishing it I have been thinking about sending it into a local competition. But I dont really know if a fictional letter qualifies as a short story. Thus is my dilemma. So any help would be super appreciated. - M
  7. PlugInMatty - Your comment made me smile, thanks I have an itch to tell the story of those two and your comments towards the local flavor, well I hadn't even noticed the parts where I slipped that in. Hahah. thatboyChase - Well thanks to your words I'm pushed to write some more, It's always nice to get recommendations Thanks guy's I love hearing your thoughts. Especially when I was terrified to send it in. Plus a big thanks to my editor B-Russell.
  8. Hey Everyone! OK so my first submission into eFiction has been finalized. I'd love for everyone to check it out and review it, the link is quite clearly below and yeah. That's all. _Marco. The Debutante.
  9. Aw man, this made me tear up. In a good way. I'm trying to find the right words here, so.... I loved it, from the chocolate-y goodness and superb descriptions to the sweetest ending. I'll cut the accolades short and just say, this was a beautiful story. _Marco
  10. I find that my style sits on the First-Person POV. I prefer being right in the guts of the story. I can align my thoughts with whichever main character and can respond the right way to situations As for themes? Well, I love a good romance/fiction but I cant go past a delectable dark fantasy especially with modern elements plus the portrayal of religion and gods/goddesses demons and other deity figures Good topic by the way. _Marco
  11. What I mean is, What inspires your stories. Does a particular legend or myth do it? Is it a completely random trail of thought? A dream? A song? A person you see? Someone's elses life? The way you wish your life had unfolded? And any other weird ones I want to know. For example In honesty I can say the one of my stories was started because of the name of a font style I found called 'Anger Is a Gift' which spurred a story of the same title. Also my short story 'The Pre/Post Debutante' was created as I was walking one night with my Ipod on shuffle and a succession of songs that conjured up a complete story line allowing me to finish it in one night. Plus my Novel, 'the Pack.' was thought up by a single dream about werewolves and their life in a suburban town. As you can see, I've had a varied selection in my writing career so I want to hear any of your tales. the stranger the better. _Marco
  12. I absolutely LOVE the concept of this story, and you've executed it beautifully, I especially love Chapter 5 so far it has been a favorite which just means your getting better and better. Give me some time and I'll come up with a much more fluid and appropriate comment. But so far. LOVE IT!
  13. Despite being new, I know a good story when I see one. And I have to say so far, the stories I've read on eFiction, In Due Time has to be one of the top ones. You're very captivating and I cant wait to see what comes next. P.S. If I loved Shane anymore I'd probably jump through my screen.
