I have to agree with everyone, this story certainly started off with a bang and only got better as it progressed. I really like the way you describe the battle scenes, you can almost visualise it happening as you read. It seems when Granger gets back to his ship, his extracurricular activities are going to take a battering, whilst something else doesn't! But as Mark pointed out, I can't see him being short of a lover for very long. Well, I'm certainly hooked on this now. Looking forward to the next one.

As if? No Eaton tie I'm afraid. However, I felt it was important to the story to keep a sense of history there for the reasons you pointed out. Plus it allows me to delve into one of my favourite subjects a little later on in the story.

I have to agree with the comments here, I was totally addicted to this story from the first chapter. I never knew that sort of thing went on in the Royal Navy! Superb story Mark, will look out for the sequel with anticipation.
