    Chapter 3

Greg's eyes haven't changed either, and he's clearly more than a baron. I'm thinking the silver is the future King's champion, protector if you will. Wild stab in the dark though.
  2. DragonFire

    Chapter 2

For this alone, you deserve solitary confinement in the dog house. πŸ˜‚
  3. DragonFire

    Chapter 1

Welcome back dude. Great to see you writing again, although I almost missed this new book as it wasn't linked with the other 4. πŸ˜› Silver eyes? Curious. Without rereading, I don't remember that covered before when they were explaining the eye colours to Greg, it's obviously significant. Staff living on 1920s wages? Damn, the previous Baron was a tight-fisted asshole, wasn't he! πŸ˜€
  4. DragonFire

    Chapter 3

Meh, some people get all the luck. A naked, muscular hunk of loveliness on his bed when he got home is worth all the mess I imagine. πŸ˜‚ Logan I presume is being possessed, yes I am a Supernatural fanboy, and the black smoke up the nose is not some sort of unearthly drug. Lol This story, so far, is intriguing. Well written & descriptive, I, for one, am looking forward to reading more.
  5. Does this include bacon? Because that there is sacrilegious. 😜
  6. Beyond stunned. I had to do a double take to make sure I read the banner correctly. Such a tragic loss for his loved ones and friends alike, taken so young, is unfathomable. 😒 Comsie was a inspiration, a gentleman and a fine writer. I remember finding Gone from Daylight on Nifty, and I was hooked from the first chapter. He had such an easy style, it drew you in, once you were into his world, there was no getting away... not that you would want to. R.I.P. Comsie, you will be greatly missed. πŸ’”

    Chapter 12

You have 102 chapters on the original, this could be 200 plus. πŸ˜‚ This is very different tbh, Chris, Josh, Jake and Brian weren't in the original draft, but as I said before, you are going in the right direction. This is massivly better than NR Greg learning control as an Alpha/Baron and who knows where he goes beyond that. Not even gonna predict, because no doubt we'll be left on a cliff somewhere. 😜
  8. Where do I start. Is this just another fang and fur story, hell no. I have read so many ware stories it's unreal, it's my favouite genre. This one peaked my interest from chapter one. Headstall has created here a unique shifter tale, brillinanly crafted, engaging and superbly written. The rule book on shifters, warewolwoles lycans etc goes out of the window. Forget what you have read, Headstall has turned it on it's head and it was brilliantly done. I for one am salivating towards book 2.
  9. You know what, I adored this story first time round, I've lost count now just how many times I've read it. πŸ˜‚ You have enthralled us with this world, brilliant writing, plot and character development. You my horsey friend need a good spanking for not continuing this fantasic story. No pressure. 😜
  10. DragonFire

    Chapter 11

Just a thought, I wonder if Chris and Josh realise, that in vampire terms, they are now Gregs sons. That will be a interesting conversation. πŸ˜‚
  11. DragonFire

    Chapter 11

Greg for all intents and purposes is still quite noble, so I don't imagine he will kill Brians father. Rather he will make his life totally miserable going forward, certainly that would be revenge served very cold.
  12. DragonFire

    Chapter 11

I have started to read the original, up to chapter 12 at the moment. I must say though, this incarnation of the story is hugely improved. You have grown so much since you wrote that dude, kudos to you. There is a much better balance here, less chaotic... and I don't mean that in a horrible way. In the original, so many characters were indroduced very quickly, it was hard to keep up sometimes. You have learned from that, and developed things at a good pace. In turn, this version reads seemlessly and without flaw. There is no manual 101 for writing, we learn and grow as we go. Very well done. Happy New Year! πŸ₯°
  13. DragonFire

    Chapter 9

See, you obviously haven't been following closely. Justin is the devil incarnate, he adores cliffhangers. πŸ˜‚ So, who gets turned first, my guess is Chris, but that's the obvious choice. So at a wild guess. the neighbours uncles best friends cat is a good a shout as any. Either that or Josh. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜œ
  14. DragonFire

    Chapter 4

Do I have to spank you to get it back, my right hand is mean. πŸ˜„
  15. DragonFire

    Chapter 4

I already told you it wasn't directed at you. You took offence at something I found unusual, and I apologised for. A simple clarification would have cleared things up very quickly. Get your muse back dude, you have a great story here.
  16. DragonFire

    Chapter 4

Now I feel like I've been spanked by my Grandma. 😜 But I agree, some thought has to be put into any criticism and judgement on here. But that goes both ways.
  17. DragonFire

    Chapter 4

Sorry if I'm harsh, but I think I'm being kind, considering you just said that my father in law, brother, and I are "not normal". Wow, ok. Clearly differences and criticism are beyond you. I will stop reading this and move on. 😢
  18. DragonFire

    Chapter 4

I'm in the UK, and this is would be classified as unusual here. Body goes to coroner, mortuary, then released to undertakers for buriel or cremation as per familys wishes.
  19. DragonFire

    Chapter 4

Scott nodded, saying, β€œIt hurts, but you need to move on, Greg. We need to figure out where we’re going live.” Is it just me or is that cold as hell? The man's been dead for just 24 hours?
  20. Lord Arbour, your subjects request, yay demands, if it suits your Lordship, a continuation of this most marvellous tale. Failure to do so will see you strapped to the gunners daughter and spanked most unceremoniously. Unfortunately, we think you may enjoy that too much. πŸ˜‚
  21. DragonFire

    Chapter 1

There's clearly more to Greg than meets the eye, I'm not convinced that he's just a Baron. A few small tells and the obvious larger one in this chapter make me believe he is so much more. Looking forward to seeing if I'm right.... which I think I am. 😜
  22. DragonFire

    Chapter 41

Meh, I still wish you'd knocked off Calvert instead of Travers. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ
  23. DragonFire

    Chapter 13

    A guarantee. 😜
  24. DragonFire

    Chapter 13

There will be a long queue. πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚
  25. Once again a book closes, but really looking forward to the next, which no doubt will captivate us more. Your writing Mark is probably the most compelling and addictive on this site. I have lost count how many times I have read this series. You pull us in with a skill that is very rare and you keep your readers wanting more. Kudos to you sir. Jervis has removed the stick from his arse and apologised, which considering what history tells of him is no mean feat. A no nonsense Admiral no doubt, but a bull in a china shop as First Lord is how he is described, and it's impossible dispute that fact. Does this mean Lord Randy George gets a plum ship in the next installment? I hope so. Battle of Trafalgar to come, but that is 4 years ahead of this timeline. I shall take my nerd hat off now. πŸ˜‚
