A brilliantly written and hopeful glimpse of a possible future where reason and fact prevail over fear and conspiracy in a vivid yet romantic story. I highly recommend this story, especially to anyone following the CJ universe!

Thanks for a great story, set a quarter century in the future that is still recognizable and believable. Liebe is successfully portrayed as one of her dads worst nightmares and proudest accomplishments. CJ and Owen have raised their children to be independent, morally grounded and outspoken. And succeeded in also demonstrating that there is a time to compromise in order to move forward. Important lessons all! The tie in on the 80th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision was inspired as was the quilt vs melting pot analogy. The reference to the quilt reminded me of another quilt that helped humanize the AIDS tragedy! And of course the wedding song was perfect!

I was going to add something earlier, but I forgot. -
Zach says: “Dude, you were just supposed to go to a party, get wasted and have fun, and instead you turn into fucking Sherlock Holmes and blow my fucking world apart,” he grumbled. And this is before he mentioned Craddock or reveal about the 16 year old that old man Buck raped. Now he gets Travis away from Craddock and I wonder if he plays the tape for Travis to warn him about his so called friend "Craddock" and the plans his father has to control him.... I think the old man Bucks is a piece of excrement and I hope Travis has the balls to stand up to him. I also think Stef and Grand need to be apprised of the threat to Zach and the kind of man Buck is.

I was impressed with how well was handling Zach all the way to the end of the chapter when he dropped the bomb on Zach. Talk about an 'oh shit' moment for Zach! Now I'm wondering if he plays the recording of big buck from the earlier foray in the hall closet to Zach? Additionally does he spill the beans about Taylor and her extracurricular fuck? I eagerly anticipate the next chapter!

Elijah recognized the broken, tortured body was Neal. And it hurt. Their decision to go on was brave. Their decision to take a few days and go camping to decompress was wise. The wait for the next episode in this story will be daunting!

Sometimes it's a blessing to forget.... -
A party full of surprises. None more so than Zach and Travis. But Taylor getting laid by not Zach was unexpected. Also had to laugh at Will's realizing he had a double standard about older/ younger! A very interesting party and we still don't know what's on the tape.

This story reminded me of "earthrise" the shiny blue marble that bit by bit mankind is polluting, to the point that the effects of global warming can be seen everywhere.

Will finagled his way out of a potential hot mess with charm and flair. Duh is about right when talking about Will being a perv! And we enjoy being along for the ride! The recorder is a useful toy which may or may not get some use at the party....or the after party!

My condolences to everyone on site who is a citizen of a country that recognized her as head of state and to all the Commonwealth countries who maintained ties. Her example of service and rectitude were unmatched and an example for everyone.
