Hello ZanoGreen, good to meet you. I'm very sorry that this have taken me so long to reply. I don't think I received the notifications for several reviews. I'm glad that you've enjoyed the story and find it so easy to relate the the characters. I do my best to write them so that they are relate-able and believable. The story will continue and I hope that you continue to enjoy. best, Owl

Hello Paul5150, it's great to hear from you. First I wan to apologize for this being so very, very late. I honestly did not realize how far behind I was. I am very sorry. I am glad that you enjoyed the story. I am (still) working on the newest chapter and it will be out very soon. I can honestly say that there is not reason for Mr. Templeton to be trusted. As for the twist...it's soon in coming. I apologize again for this taking so long to reply. best Owl

Hello Timothy M. It's great to hear from you again. I'm glad that you enjoyed the story. This one was the first for me that was low on the romance scale. I think though that it was better for it though. It makes me happy to hear that you enjoy my stories and i hope to hear from you in the future, best, Owl

Hello Timothy M. It's good to hear from you. I really want to thank you for taking the time to leave me a review. I am very glad that you enjoyed the story. Discoveries really means a lot to me; it's one that I look back on often. It actually came out much more,( to use your word),tender than I had originally planned. I had planned to make both Abe and Tristan a bit edgier but they sort of wrote themselves. Malcolm was an interesting creation for me; he sort of just manifested. I did very little with him. The river though...very good idea. I hope to hear from you again. best Owl.

I'm happy for him. So sad though, he's adorable. I get where Bill W is coming from though. While there have been other Pro sports players, both active and retired, to come out I think we are a long way from an American Football player comeing out of the closet even though the number of players per team would point to there more than a few gay/bi one's out there. It's too much of a hypermasculine/hyperhetero community. Just my opinion of course.

something that... well frankly i don't beleave
NightOwl88 replied to Celethiel's topic in The Lounge
Hard as it is to believe I actually can believe it. I know individuals like those mentioned the article. To be honest I am guilty of one or two of them, (not that I going to say which two lol). I think that some of it comes down to the fact that most folks just don't care about history; i can name a handful of people off the top of my head that frankly...well if any of them have actually passed a history test it's a miracle. -
Hey yall, Thanks for reading and the encouragement. Things are finally starting to balance out so I am hoping that I will be able to get back on a reasonable schedule. A lot of things have fallen by the wayside, other than my writing, that I am hoping to get back on top of as well. thanks again all. best, Owl

Hey yall, I wanted to take some time to stop in and drop and entry. I want to apologize for my overly erratic posting habits (even for me). Instead of boring yall with the details I've give you the bare bones. I was living with a relative who (unknowingly to me) was going through the eviction process. So when they were kicked out so was I and I spent two weeks packing, storing and eventually moving with my grandmother. My grandmothers health has taken a bit of a downward turn so I'm spending a lot of my time helping to take care of her, as well as working full time. To make this even shorter, I'm sorry that things are taking me so long. I'm working as fast and as often as I can. It is my plan to have the newest chapter of Indiana Summer out within the next 7 to 10 days. I cant promise any sort of time line after that. it is my hope that I can get things balanced out in the next month or so to make my posting more efficient. best, Nightowl

Good to see you again Daithi, I don't think that Frank has a flight response, I think for him its more of fight and fight more. I hope that your question isn't aimed at me as I can't say exactly what I would do. Given how their written I think that they acted true to to their natures though. I think a lot of teenagers would probably react the same or similar ways. thank you again. Best, Owl

Hello Daithi, good to see you again. Max is the health nut that I aspire to be. It is my own goal to be that dedicated. I think (and I hope it's not just me) that Josh's dad asking to spend the night out was one of the cutest/funniest scenes I've ever written. I think I saw that scene more vividly in my mind than almost any other. Mr. Clark and Dave may have absences but they will pop up when needed the most, and they will always be of help. best, Owl

Hello Daithi, always a pleasure to see you. I don't think it's that they know more, the students are just more willing to use them properly. I may not have written it clearly enough but folks like Fleet don't set much store by the rules. They tend to think their presence and righteousness alone will keep people from questioning them. The explosion is still in the works but I assure when it does happen, it will be fun. Mr. Clark's limp will be explained in the future so i hope you're patient. Kylie isn't a good person to mess with, she can be rather brash when she wants to be. best, Owl

Hello Daithi, good to see you again. James, honestly his introduction might have been a bit early. As it stands he is not a very well person. We'll get to see him more in the future. No we didn't get to see Josh's lessons, to be honest I kind of spaced it I am hoping to incorporate it in the future. best, Owl

New student, old friend
NightOwl88 commented on NightOwl88's story chapter in New student, old friend
Hey Daithi, glad to see you again. Yep it is pretty unconventional. I hope that it still maintains a sense of realism. I'm glad that you like Kylie, she is actually a character very close to my heart. Frank is a very all the way kind of person, there are no half paths for him. Given how wishy washy Josh can be and how considerate Max is I think that it's actually a good balance. thank you again, best, Owl -
Hey Daithi, it's a pleasure. I dunno if it qualifies as make up sex or not. It's an interesting question lol. Dave is actually based on a very dear friend that I lost a long time ago. He will play a minor role throughout the story. For Max's medication I guess it depends on what your definition of serious is. I will send you an message on the medication as it's a bit much to place here. Thank you so much for reviewing. best Owl

Hello Daithi, good to see you. I doubt anyone could hate getting letters right now more than Max. For Josh freaking out is just his process, he over thinks lol. Best, owl

Hey Daithi, good to see you again. You're right, friendships shouldn't come with conditions but too often that seems to be how it happens. The object doesn't change but the way it's perceived does. Perception is tricky business though. best, Owl

Hey Daithi, I'm glad you've stopped in. Josh doesn't seem to take surprises very well but I guess it might turn out okay. There are no obligations for Max to say anything but I think folks like Max actually feel bad about keeping secrets from loved ones. That is exactly why Tom went up against Max; amongst other reasons lol. The fact that he got beat down had to be a major blow to his pride. thank you again, Best, Owl

hello Daithi, good to see you again. Yes there are rules in place against the releasing of such information. A sad fact is though that the circumstance happens more often than is actually known. As to the earrings as I understand it is often left up to the teachers discretion. In the schools in my area it is something of a hot button issue actually. best, Owl

Hello Daithi, good to meet you. First off thank you so much for reviewing. I love to hear from folks. it might be a bit of a played out concept but I thought it would be an emotional way to start out the story. I hope that you got the idea that he would be a pain in the ass from the hints that I wrote into him. I hope that you enjoy what it is to come. best, Owl

Hello Suvitar, it's good to hear from you. I'm sorry that you had to start from the beginning, whether or not it was from my posting habits or a more personal reason. I am glad however that you still enjoy the story. I don't know why exactly but Max's pet name for Josh really hits me as well. It just seems like the perfect thing for him to say. Tom and Mark, I do hope that I what I have planned for the two of them will keep everyone interested as I have so much in the works. I promise that I am working as fast often as I can. Thanks you for your patience. best, Owl

LISA!!! It's always a pleasure to hear from you. I am so glad that you liked the chapter, and that you have taken the time to drop me a message. I actually had the same issue with writing that part of the chapter that Max had planning his night; I over thought it to death. In the end it seemed it would be more Max's style to do something domestic like that. I think Max's seeming lack of appreciation for the hourglass could probably be chalked up to worry that his gifts to Josh might seem less personal, less thoughtful. It's something for me to think about though. My odd couple are finding their way into an interesting relationship. I really hope that things go well for them. Given the timeline the story takes place in using texts to keep in touch served two purposes really, one was to grow their relationship without anyone finding out (see Max lol) and to bring a little more reality to the story. I don't think Mark could ever really go off on someone like Tom, not given how he was treated and how Max was treated. Although I really shouldn't count out the the shock value. As to the drawing I think artists, no matter their medium, can share a respect for each others work. I also think the fact that it was such a loving image really spoke to something in Mark as well. I have considered a cross over actually. At this point i just don't know how I would make it happen, but it is something that I am thinking about. Like I said it's always great to hear from you Lisa. best, Owl

Hello Sonya, it's always a pleasure to see you. I'm glad that you liked the Valentine's gift exchange, I spent far more time researching/writing that section than I care to admit lol. I've worried the Max and Josh might seem a little too much the perfect couple but I am glad that the speed of their relationship has been so well received. Tom and Mark, I think they might be one of my favorite odd couples; and I've written a few of them. Awkward moments I think might be a bit of an understatement but I really look forward to writing them out. Tom's dad...I can't comment just yet on how that is going to go when it happens...but it WILL happen. I promise that I am doing my level best to speed up my production. Yes there will be an expansion on Mark and Tom within the story. best, Owl

Hello Sonya, it's great to see you again. Don't worry about just doing a few reviews, I love any and all feed back from folks. I'm glad that you enjoy the pace of the chapters, I try to give a lot of attention to that area. I want them to feel natural you know? I've said it before but I am happy to say again, I strive to make my characters real and I am so happy that it is showing through. Mark has had a bad time of it. When I first started writing his situation I worried that it seemed like too much but I am glad, looking back, that I didn't skimp. He needs alot of things right now but I promise he will get them from who he needs it from. I'm glad to hear that you'll be sticking around and I look forward to hearing from you again. best, Owl

Hey KaimukiMan, good to see you. I promise that I am doing my level best to keep set on a good schedule. My muse staying away isn't so much the issue as having the time. Thank you for your compliment on my sex scene. Believe it or not I often struggle with the transition into them and I always try to give them a reason to be happening. I'm certainly glad that you have found my character buy worthy lol. I've worried in the past that maybe I made Tom's character a little 'stock' if you know what I mean but I am glad that he is gaining his own fan base. I can't comment just yet on how the relationship between Mark and Tom will evolve, we'll just have to see. I think we can all count on max freaking out though, and probably a few more folks as well. Best, Owl

Hello Soyna, its good to see you again. I guess I should apologize for the cliffs, I do seem to have some sort of an obsession with them. It means so much to me to hear that someone loves me work. It's still actually a bit surreal for me to be honest. My little Crew does mean a lot to each other and look out for each other, it's what family does after all. I think the reactions to Tom were probably about as real as I could have hoped for. I also assure that Tom really is trying to change, as to his infatuation with Max...well I can't comment on that just yet. As to James, I wish that I could give some hints on what he is up to but I can't just yet. He WILL be making an appearance shortly though. I want to thank you again for reviewing, it means lot to me. best, Owl
