Hey Benji. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply to you, I never got the message that someone had posted here. everything you say about Tom is true and I also think it will be interesting to see how things progress between him and Mark, if anything does happen between them at all lol. More so than anything I wonder how well Tom's attempts at redemption will go and if he will be able to go through with everything without getting too discouraged. Thanks again for posting Benji, I always worry that my posting habit turn people off my writing but seeing a new review or a post in one of the forums always brightens my day. Thanks and best Benji.

Hey Lisa, always a pleasure to see you. Laughing and crying, I do so love being able to evoke emotion in my readers. The tragedy was actually something that came to me as the story was getting ready to come to a close; I'm glad that it came out well though. Beth was a fun character to write. I'm not sure where she came from in my head but she just seemed to write herself. The sibling/sibling and cousin/cousin relationship (same sex) has always been something that intrigues me; at least in a theoretical POV. It was something that I really wanted to explore in this story but I worried about making them biologically related so I made them steps. I'm sorry if I confused you with the timeline. I'm fairly certain I did it correctly but I might have screwed up the transition from timeline to timeline. I'll take a look at it. I promise that all of my other stories will continue, I'm working on Max and Josh right now, I'm suffering from a huge stint of writers block at the moment lol. Thanks again Lisa, Best, Owl

Hey Bookjunky, glad to see you again. I'm glad that you were patient enough to stick around for this last chapter. I like to believe that they are too. I'm glad you liked Jeremy's parents, I've often worried that I made them too well adjusted, too understanding. It flatters me that you think so highly of my approach to the taboo. I never planned for their relationship to become sexual in this story but I did want there to be a level of physical intimacy between them. I don't know as of right now if there is going to be a sequel or not. I'm in talks with Rush about how it could possibly progress but I've made no concrete plans. That's not to say that there won't be either, I'm just not for sure yet. Best, Owl.

Things didn’t go as planned though. For the few first few months of their separation life for Jeremy and Alex went on much as it did before, they called each other every few weeks and wrote to each other every week. As June rolled around and summer got closer things started to change though. More time passed between Alex’s letters and his phone calls stopped completely. His letters were always short and he never wrote about what he was doing or why it took him so long to write, even though Jer

Major DC superhero to come out as gay, apparently.
NightOwl88 replied to Cyhort's topic in The Lounge
You weren't doing that before this announcement, seriously? I thought Was compulsory for anyone who had seen the Green Lantern....or maybe it was just me. I'm actually pretty thrilled about this. Part of me actually figured that it could be the Green Lantern, I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't going to be one of their "Popular" characters and while the Green Lantern has always been my favorite he's always been kind of secondary. I haven't read comics in ages but I might have to take them up again given the the Green Lantern is my favorite super heros. -
Over the next two years the boys only saw each other a few times, and only for a few hours at a time, usually when Alex, Ronald and Joanne came for a holiday and once when they were passing through town. They made up for their lack of seeing each other by writing letters back and forth and talking over the phone as much as possible. The first few of these phone calls had actually gone very badly for poor Jeremy, each time he talked to Alex he would end up crying; missing his older friend and tho

The modern myth(from what I've seen in my research) shows that nothing happens to Werewolf. The Vampire could possible die though, apparently their blood is toxic to Werewolves.

Hey Dirk, good to hear from you again, I dunno if darker would be the appropriate term but we'll see. It would be too long before we see the boys again. I assure you that I have no intention of giving up on Indiana Summer. I'm facing some writers block with Max and Josh which is what precipitated the posting of this story. best Owl

Hello again Lisa, nice to see you. Given the presented evidence that is a sound theory, we'll have to wait to find out though. She is a bit on the evil side and your quite right, unforgivable. Leave it to me though, I always give the bad guy whats coming to them. No worries Lisa, you know I love to hear from you. best Owl

Hey Lisa, always a pleasure to see you. I would say that I'm sorry to make you cry but I do like being able to induce emotions in my readers. Alex does need a friend, I actually felt bad as I was writing the character, made me a little depressed. I can assure you though that it won't be the last time the boys see each other. I thank you for the compliment. It was a pain in the butt to keep track of all those TH words lol. You're quite right about the observation James made. I actually swore that I re-wrote that part. I've already made a note to work on the section. I'm glad you liked, I'll get the rest out soon. best Owl

Hello Charlieocho, nice to meet you. I'm glad that you enjoyed the first chapter of the story. I promise that I'll get the next chapter out soon. best Owl

Hey Joann, thats kind of funny. I have a character named that in another of my stories that I'm working on...neat. Anyway, I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter and I hope that it lives up to your enjoyment. best, Owl

Heya Ching, glad to hear from you. I'm glad that you're enjoying the story so far. I've got a friend like that as well. I can't take credit for the definition of Soul-mate though, I have to attribute that to Websters. I'm glad you're a fan of my work and I look forward to hearing from you on future chapters. best, Owl

Hey Terry, nice to see you. I'm glad that you liked the first chapter. I can't confirm or deny your suspicions on Alex. You will find out though as the story goes on i assure you. I hope that you'll stick around to find out. Best Owl

Hey KC, good to hear from you. I'm glad that you enjoyed the first installment of the story. I think you'll like how the story develops. Since this story is complete I'll be posting it more regularly. Best, Owl

Soulmate, noun, a person with whom one has a strong affinity, shared values and tastes, and often a romantic bond. Most people search their entire lives for theirs. Alex and Jeremy found theirs before they even knew what love and commitment is all about.

Jeremy was only six when he met his ten year old cousin Alex on Friday during the summer. His uncle, his wife, and his cousin had come to visit one summer for a week. “Jeremy come here, your uncle and aunt are here.” His mother called to him from the back porch. Jeremy scrambled up from his position in the sandbox and after dusting himself off he ambled over to the small group of people standing on the back porch. Jeremy had only met his uncle once, a long time ago, and barely remembered h

Lol no I'm not interested in Furry (at least not in that sense of the word lol) At least not to participate. Now going and possibly being able to interview a few people on what attracts them to the culture could be cool as I am always interested in learning about people and behavior and what not. No I created the thread more for a bit of research and bit of fun. Vampires are HUGE right now but it seems that Werewolves are only factoring in as a secondary characters/themes. If I ever get out to Cali we can go to a Fur Con together lol. I'm brash enough to ask them to pose for you lol,Plus I can interview folks.

I got into this discussion with one of my co-workers last weekend after watching The Howling Two: Your sister is a werewolf (Whoever wrote/made that movie had to have had some bestiality issues). His opinion fell between the anthro and the beastly forms and actually brought to mind a good point that I hadn't considered. He mentioned how some people had issues with the Twilight wolves because they were like the size of cars but he was actually in favor of it, at least to an extent. His point was that it wouldn't make sense to take a six foot tall, two hundred and some pound guy and reduce it to a five foot long and eighty pound (I'm averaging from wikipedia) wolf. I've never thought about it that way but it does make sense.

I think that the reason most people would consider a werewolf to be evil would be because of the misconceptions about wolves and other similar animals that were prevalent when the werewolf myth first came around. Wolves were considered to be vicious and indiscriminate killers, a creature that would kill you as soon as look at you. Logically a creature that was part man and part beast would follow the same line. It may be childish but I've always thought of the Werewolf as a type a guardian figure. Maybe it's because of my own natural love for wolves and my own tree huger tendencies lol.

Hello everyone. As anyone who have read my work knows I'm behind and my posting habit have become even worse than they were before. I can offer no concrete reasons for this, it's true that things have not been the most ideal for me or my family the last year but because a few messages and conversations that I've had recently that I've allowed the issues too much leeway. I'm working as hard and fast as I can to get things set on a better track, one that I intend to keep up with at all costs. Coming to GA and sharing my work has been one of the best experiences of my life and I'm sorry if I have let any of my reader's down. Once again I am sorry for all the delays and I look forward to trying to get back into the community. best, Owl

Good Witch Vs. "Evil" Witch (The Lies of the Wizard of Oz)
NightOwl88 replied to John Doe's topic in The Lounge
If you think about it, like REALLY think about it's actually kind of devious. The article was great though, funny yet thought provoking at the same time. -
Ok does anyone else think that this commercial boarders on soft core porn...not that it's a bad thing. I've never worn the brand, mostly because I couldn't afford it. I'm more of a Wrangler and Faded glory kind of guy. The commercial was nice though, innovated, boundary pushing, edgy; which is probably just what they were going for. Overall, i approve.

Very good idea Traveller, I've consider doing just that a couple of times. i figured from the second I got my email that the site had been hacked, either that or there was some disgruntled Admin out there screwing around lol. I'm not worried about my personal info being released. Some fo my family doesn't know I'm gay but that's due more to the fact that my family are a bunch of gossip whores than out of any kind of fear. As for my professional life...that's funny all of my co workers know I'm gay and they actually love me for it, plus my boss know and their LGBT (out of respect I'm not naming genders or preferences of said person. Like Jamessavik's cat said...Bring it on Bro....but seriously consider just what kind of crap you'll be in for if you think you can scare me. I'm really glad that the site could be restored, it would be a HUGE freaking loss if this place went bye bye. This site is like an oasis is the desert man. A place where we can come together and just share the fruits of our labor and passions but connected and have a feeling of acceptance and solidarity. Something a lot of folks can get in their off net lives. Best yall, Nightowl
