Hello Yall, This might be a stupid thing to use as my first Forum thread (at least I think it's the first one I've made...I should probably check on that) but I'm going to do it anyway as it's a conversation that I've been having with some people I know,(I wouldn't call them friends), and I was hoping to get a broader bit of information. This is part research and part plain curiosity but I'm wonder where people stand on werewolf forms. If you boil it down there are three basic forms. Anthropomorphic Werewolves. Werewolves with an over all wolfish appearance but with a distinctly human shape, the ability to walk on it's hind legs, clawed fingers instead of front paws and often no tail. Think of werewolves from the movies Van Helsing and Cursed. Beastly Werewolves. These werewolves usually look mostly like your normal wolf, sometimes larger (Think Twilight Werewolf) but more often look like a plain wolf, possibly carrying over its human hair and eye color into wolf form. Furry Human (as I don't know the actual or appropriate term). These werewolves are a throw back to the Wolfman movies where the Werewolf usually just looks like an exceptionally hairy person with clawed fingers. Personally I'm partial to the first two categories myself, more so the second one than the first. I've never meshed with the portrayal of werewolves in the 'evil' monster role, even though that is what the werewolf was in original mythology. Even though I can see the benefits of the Anthro form I think it's more of an attempt to make the werewolf seem more frightening and overall more imposing. After all who wouldn't wet themselves if they came face to face with a six feet tall human/wolf creature. See I had this in mind to post as well but i completely forgot about it. The story has been floating around for sometime I believe. I don't know whether or not it's real/true but it does raise some interesting questions. If it is true though it would seriously screw with the Nature vs. Nurture debate. If something like a stroke could change one's sexual orientation which theory would be correct or would they both be?

Lisa my love, always, ALWAYS a pleasure to see your name int he review box. The 'I love you' was taboo in this chapter because I fudged up in the writing. I omitted the part about David saying I love you at the river from Billy's memory so it made it seem taboo here. It was my fault. Sam's meddling is irritating, amongst other things, but Sam can't help but be over protective. Look at it from her POV. For the longest time, by her own admission, she was Billy's one and only confidant. She was there through Seth leaving, through Billy's cutting, through the issues caused by Billy's father. Same has seen Billy at his worst and now that she sees he is doing better she doesn't want him to go back to that place. It doesn't matter that its because of David that he is doing better...she only sees the bad that can happen after David is gone. You're right though it would be torture for the two of them not being able to be with each other when they are literally forced to be with each other everyday. Contact with Seth, or the lack there of, is something that I haven't explained in the story, just yet at least. I will however drop a little info on it here. First off the Templeton house is low tech in the extreme. No computer, no internet so no IM or Skype. A phone and TV are about all they have. As for phone calls, Seth did call once but the aftermath turned out bad for Billy,(once again we'll cover this later), Annie bows down to this rule in order to protect Billy. She fears what her husband will do to Billy if he gets too angry. Strength has a way of bowing to fear. William does need to be brought down a few pegs and it will happen, I promise...at some point in time. I'm glad you enjoyed Lisa, I'll do my best to get the next chapter out sooner. I do hope they find a way for Billy to stick around as well though. best, Night.

Heya John, good to see you. It may be hard to top but I'm glad that you tried, I love hearing from people who have read my stories. It makes it feel like it's worth the time I put into it. I'm sorry that my work has been so missed, I do write as often as I can and I'm working on getting chapters out faster. It was always a plan on mine to get David to let Billy and Annie use his phone to contact Seth but I had to find a way to re-introduce the idea into the story. The 'I love you' is going to be interesting. Will it work out or will it end up being a tooth pick on a wildfire of pain. Figuring out how to stay, I think that was the first scene that I had ever written for the story, even before the first chapter was written. Now Annie not being a local, that is a pivotal point and something that should be remembered. I can't say anything to the idea of her being distantly related to David's family but it will play a role, eventually. Annie seems to have become a certifiable mystery. I'll say this to those who have speculated on what she is doing, NO ONE has yet to guess the truth about what she is doing/planning. Sam...maybe I wrote her character too well given that she seems to universally ticks people off. Julian does indeed have his hands full, depending on how far he decides to take the relationship. RICKY!!!! Always a pleasure my good man. It's been awhile since I heard from you. Yes David dropped the L word, again. I'm just hoping he can deal with the can of worms that he's opened back up. So many people wanted to know what Seth would be feeling from Billy's last letter so I figured I drug out the suspense long enough. Mom, I do love having her around, she brings in so much intrigue and curiosity into the story. You are all too right, it is getting close to time for the other shoe to drop. So many people do think Sam is irritating and controlling; and she is. Personally I think it's more of a maternal instinct run amok. I really wanted to write an anti-closet scene for this chapter and the Party with Max and Josh and everyone was the perfect excuse, (thanks Momma Rush). Mark and Tom eh....now that would be a...curious...combination hmmm. Grandma Calvin is somewhat modeled after my own grandmother, who is a very tuff as nails kind of woman. Hey Rustle, a pleasure to see you; as always. You don't have to thank me, I enjoy it just as much as you guys do, I just wish I was able to update more often; which I'm working on. I think I've said this before but Tom might actually be my most flushed out character, I knew from his conception exactly who he would be and where he would end up. I'm glad you like how he is written, at least for now lol. I strive to make my dialogue flow and sound real. Although Rush tells me that I often sound like an old man when I write. The way I write isn't intentional, not really. I mean i try to write so that folks can visualize whats happening but I guess I do spent more time on developing my characters than anything else, I'm glad that it shows through.
