  1. It's not precisely true that Luma can travel the universe. The house exists outside space, in a fold in the fabric of the universe, so it can open out anywhere it wants, buto only in this world. The only place that can act as a door into another world is the summerhouse, which isn't always accessible. Luma is not, however, a creature of the earth as you will see.
  2. Everything is in a state of flux and oh yeah there's danger!!
  3. It came as a complete culture shock for him but yes, he does.

    Chapter 10 - Star

Luma hasn't felt love for centuries. He's taken his boys to satisfy his needs but has kept a complete distance. He has felt fondness for some along the way but never love. In some sense he doesn't know what love is, and he's learning all over again. He's very confused about Astaria's influence seeping into his life. Trust me. Bridge is definitely not Astaria. Bridge is just Bridge

    Chapter 9 - Taz

    Chapter 8 - Orgy

Who says there's not going to be love and commitment Of course, it's Luma's version of it I'm so glad you're sticking with it even if it isn't your cup of tea. *Hug*
  7. Oh, a lot of indulgence. A LOT. But it gets better.
  8. There are a finite number of boys that can be 'fed' and kept young because they have to take some of Luma's blood and he can only give so much. On the other hand there need to be a few, so he can feed and not drain any one of them too much. Of course, there are other reasons for some of them to be there, which you don't know about yet

Yes, he is. He's getting there slowly, but he's getting there.

    Chapter 1 - Aqua

    Prologue

Um...this is very different to what I usually write in soooo many ways. I think Fallen is an acqired taste. My vampire certainly does start off being absolutely disgusting, as you say. He's arrogant, controlling and emotionless. He has no respect for human life, in fact he's distainful of it. He has no redeeming qualities at all...but he gets better. He slowly learns to love to respect...to FEEL. I hope you enjoy his journey. It's a weird and twisted one

    All In

Hmm. It's pretty clear to me that Devyn isn't being locked away because he's being a brat, and that the 'trouble' Devyn was making was more about trying to tell the truth about pretty appalling abuse than anything else. Brad is trying hard to make sure no one who might listen to the truth gets anywhere near Devyn or him then. You've set a pretty chilling scene here, although one that is sadly not as uncommon as it should be. Perhaps not every abuser has the resources to lock their victim away physically, but they keep them prisoner nonetheless, locked inside their minds, with threats and lies shutting them in and keeping them from those who might help them. In this scenario, it's amazing Devyn still has any spirit left. He's been so badly abused and let down by everyone around him, it's surprising he's still showing any spark at all. I wonder whether the problems with Devyn's throat were accidental at all. Jason has his work cut out and he is going to have to be incredibly careful. If he gets too sympathetic to Devyn he's putting himself in the firing line. I'm interested to see how this pans out. I'm already crazy about Devyn and have so much respect for him.

    Chapter 22

Lacey loves Sacha and is really just trying to help. She really does love Sacha, and all common wisdom would dictate, as would his shrinks I bet, that given his history he needs to take time before he even thinks of any kind of relationship, even a casual on. Unfotunately no one has been in the situation Sacha has and no one can tell him what's best for him. He needs to work things through for himself and wrapping him in cotton wool isn't the answer. Very shortly the cotton wool comes off big time and boy will that be a shock to everyone

    Chapter 22

Thank you Sacha is a darling isn't he?

    Chapter 22

The problem with people is they have a tendency to think they know best, and impose that knowledge, with the best intention, on others. It would have been better if Lacey had spoken to Sacha rather than Nik, but hey, people make mistakes and Lacey truly does think she's doing the right things Unfortuantely, Lacey isn't the only one interfering so these lovely young people have a bumpy road before they can be in love young people, that is if they ever are.

    Chapter 22

The problem at this stage is that everyone around Sacha are so bloody scared of anything to do with sex. They're all freaking that given his experiences he's not ready to have a relationship or even an experience, as he's so confused about love and sex and needs time to resolve the issues. Maybe they're right. Maybe they're not, but it's for sure that Sacha knows what he wants and when he's feeling better he's perfectly capable of going for it. Unfortunately there are other forces working against him and it makes for a bumpy ride still.

    Chapter 22

Sacha was totally entranced by the sea. He remained in his seat, staring at it, even when Nik opened the door and undid his seatbelt. Finally, he turned to Nik, with stars in his eyes. “It’s so beautiful,” he breathed. “It’s like it goes on forever. Like…like if you stepped in it, it would carry you away to somewhere wonderful. What’s that noise?” “The kind of whooshing noise?” “Yes.” “It’s the waves. See how they have those white bits? Well, they are waves that rise up, then fall back into t

    Chapter 21

I'm so glad you're still enjoying the story. Sacha still has a long way to go, but things are definitely looking up...literally, because Nik is a lot taller than him

    Epilogue

Yay! River is one of the most underrated character I think I've ever written. I have to admit I'm on 'team Silver' because I'm in love with him, but I get really happy when someone roots for River because you're absolutely right. River always bends. Yes, he makes mistakes but that's human. He always does it with the best of intentions. He does the best he can which is what everyone has to do. River is a rock and as much as I love Silver it would be great to have a River to rely on.

    Chapter 21

Lacey's had a long talk with him and scared the bejeezus out of the poor boy. He wants to. Ooooh he wants to, but he's scared for a lot of reasons. Mostly because the's afraid it's too soon for Sacha

    Chapter 21

Oh, he does Lacey is in mother hen mode. She has absolutely no idea how to take care of someone as sick as Sacha, or someone with his problems. Her interfering is going to cause trouble, you mark my words. I'd have thought the cook would be more switched on about feeding an invalid but hey! The long journey was hard on Sacha, but Nik really wants to give him a treat and thinks the sea air will do him good - which it does
