    Chapter 19

Well...the bread is very thin, and she did cut the crusts off I think the kitchen staff are trying their best to make healthy food, but Lacey has different ideas about what will appeal to Sacha. They never learn!!

    Chapter 20

James is a sixteen year old brat. He's spoiled and selfish, but he's trying Nik is a totally different kettle of fish. He's stable and sincere and caring. Just what Sacha needs...kind of.

    Chapter 20

Nik is totally in love with Sacha, but they have very different ideas about what to do about it, and it doesn't help that Lacey interferes. I love that you love the story!! Hugs

    Chapter 20

It was totally my pleasure Finding Alex was my last year's NaNo novel so was a big achievement for me. I finished the whole thing in a month. Of course, I've worked on it since then but the majority was written in just over three weeks. I lived and breathed Sacha for that time.

    Chapter 20

When Sacha woke, there was someone there. He didn’t know how he knew there was someone there, because he couldn’t see anyone, and couldn’t hear anything. For a moment he froze, then a familiar voice spoke. “Are you awake?” Relief flooded him, and for a moment he forgot to answer. When he did, his voice was shaky. That was because he was shaky. His insides doing weird flip flops and fluttery dances. It was because he was startled, he said to himself. Nik moved into his view and sat on one of th

    Chapter 19

Someone who was hurt and damaged so deeply can't just change overnight. There will be a long hard struggle for Sacha, and it's going to be a while before he feels he fits in anywhere. Imagine what it would be like to be taken from your home and put in a place that's completely alien to you, told everything you thought you were sure about is wrong, and told to trust people you've never met. It's going to take time to adjust There will be a lot of ups and downs, tears and tantrums, but Sacha's path leads him in a direction that might surprise you...it will surprise you

    Chapter 18

This story is Sacha/Alex's story. I doubt he cares about his former clients and I doubt his former clients would know whether he was alive or not. I doubt Ryland would have shared much, and would't have located the location of the farmhouse to anyone. I would think that all the ex clients would know is that Ryland isn't around anymore. As for the doc at the hospital. I wouldn't imagine he'd want anything to do with Sacha. What can Sacha say? He wasn't conscious when the doc did his dirty deed. He can say he saw the doc at the farm but with no other evidence there's no case. Besides, the doc isn't the kind of bad man Ryland is. I don't think there's anyone out there who cares one way or the other. And yeah! Sacha has the hots for Nik but not, I suspect, as much as Nik has the hots for him!!

    Chapter 17

That's why I had to make Ryland totally iredeemable. I didn't want there to be any chance of readers losing sympathy with Sacha for killing him, and I knew for sure after he killed those kids he'd have to die. Nothing else would be good enough for him. Ooh a Hollywood Blockbuster!!! I wish. Well, if 50 Shades can do it. Now, all I need is a couple of million fans and we're away

    Chapter 16

Believe it or not my 13 year old came up with this scene, when I asked him what he thought should happen, so it's told with all the unfiltered savagery of a teen. As for Ryland, he really had to be unforgivable and iredeemable. You'll see why

    Chapter 15

I think the only way James was every going to completely warm to Sacha and be the understanding brother Sacha needs, was to see first hand what he went through. It had to happen. To be honest, I don't know what Frank does or doesn't do. What happens next doesn't really have anything to do with him at all.

    Chapter 14

I think the problem is that to some extent they're papering over the cracks because they can't bear to see them. Yes, they should know better but they really don't want to think what Sacha has been through, and who wants to recognize that someone you love has been so conditioned to obey orders, they'll do absolutely anything they're told - including eating until they're sick. It's a big thing for any family to handle. Trust me...there is something big about to happen. Whether it will bring the family to their senses or not is another matter.

    Chapter 13

Oh I think the naivety this family has is going to bite them in the ass big time, very shortly and then get blown apart, especially for James. James is behaving very badly at the moment but he is so going to pay for it in so many ways. There is a chance for them so stick with him and don't hate him yet.

    Chapter 12

James is a total spoiled little rich kid with major anger issues. He's mean, small minded and cruel - a typical teenager X10. All I will say is hold in there. He's awful but...well you'll have to wait and see. He does totally change the dynamic in the house and in the story. Things change from this point on.

    Chapter 11

Sacha is very talented. In part it's natural talent and in part it's training. Its surprising what someone can do when the punishment for failure is dire. The family simply cant understand Sacha. They have no frame of reference. They do try though, bless them

    Chapter 10

I know! I want the whole house, but the pool is amazing. I got he picture so clear in my head. That waterfall!! Sigh. Ah well, maybe I'll find something like it in a hotel somewhere at some time. Lacey is doing what she can. She is a great sister, but she's not perfect. I think the whole family are very naive when it comes to Sacha. I can't believe it sometimes. I mean for goodness sake, Lacey fought Frank about trouble with James, then she never saw it coming and was blind to what was going on. Oops. Don't want to give too much away
  17. Nephylim

    Chapter 9

Sacha doesn't know what he wants. He doesn't know there is anything TO want. All he's known is to have only what he's given. He has no concept of having his own things, of being able to ask for what he wants and get it. The only thing of his own he's ever had is the photograph of his mother which he had to hide. He'll come round to the idea, but I don't think he'll ever be a spoiled brat.

    Chapter 8

Sacha has enormous strength, and he's going to need it!! He's one heck of a guy. I fell in love with him as I wrote this, but I would NEVER have believed where he ends up

    Chapter 7

Oops SAcha's brother's called James. Did I call him Justin?! I'll check and change if it was me The rest of the story is told from Sacha's POV because it's such a fascinating one. So many things he does for the first time, and we find out such a lot about him from the inside. Definnitely interesting times ahead

    Chapter 6

I am SO going to have to write that character into a story somewhere. I KNEW I'd heard the name, but I don't watch much reality TV so I didn't make the connection. Hehe Just to be clear. Alex's home isn't in the valleys, it's near London Maybe I should have made that clear, although I think it does become clear later on You're a real doll. Mwah

    Chapter 5

I think that's one of the main faults with this family, especially given Frank's job. Even after this they don't seem to take the real threat to Sacha very seriously. I have no idea why - other than that a lot of the plot wouldn't happen if they had

    Chapter 3

Yes lots of ups and downs. To be expected with my stories, I think What that man did in he farmhouse was dreadful, and I based it on something I saw on Law and Order SVU In that one they didn't set a fire but they did poison all the children and leave them in a cellar to die. It's a cruel world and some people just don't deserve to breathe the same air as the rest of us.
