Oh yes, Silver is a fighter. He's had to be.River finds depths in himself he didn't know he had, but he doesn't really have much choice either. -
The search is everything. If they can't find evidence of wrongdoing, what can they say? What can they do? They think Angel's fairly safe in public. How wrong can they be. What better way of escaping responsibility for something than to have it happen in front of many people all of whom can contest you had nothing to do with it.

Thank you SO much. River is often overlooked, especially later, when Silver really starts to shine. River is the solid foundation, the support, the keystone. He's awesome. -

Silver has tremendous strength of character, that's what brought him through so far and will take him further still. I can't stop saying how wonderful Silver is and I know I go overboard when I'm writing but he just is. He's so so so so beautiful and sweet and strong and wise and so many other things. I WISH he was real, and not gay, and older -
He's a smarmy son of a bitch who can talk himself out of anything - or at least thinks he can. He's painting a picture of Angel as a whiny brat who doesn't know what's good for him and at least some of the medical staff are believing him and that he knows best.

I had a review of the ebook, saying that whatever way you look at it, River was highly unprofessional, and that may be the case. However, he was in a very difficult position. He was trying hard to put his own growing attraction to Silver aside to be professional, but it wasn't easy for him. Yes, he could have walked away and handed Silver over to someone else, but I think he knew full well that Silver would never have responded to anyone else as he had with river. Walking away would have been dooming Silver to a half life. I think by this stage, River didnt care how professional he was being 'or not' but only about how he can help Silver 'come back'. -
Now you can all see how devious my mind is. Plotting and planning all the time. Be afraid, be very afriad Mwahaha

It is a long long road indeed, and, in every book River has new realizations about how deep, and permanent Silver's issues are. It's not so much about getting rid of them, but learning to live with them

I looked up some statistics for a blog post and over 800,000 men women and children are abducted every year. Many of them are for the sex industry. Human trafficking is thriving and it's rare any of the 'main men' get caught. If one group is caught, the 'masters' move on and start up again elsewhere. It's heartbreaking and terrifying at the same time, to think there are actually people like Silver out there, and the most heartbreaking thing of all is that many of them move on to become the abusers.

Have I got my maths wrong? Silver is 19 now and was taken when he was 12. He was in captivity for 7 years. -

Wow, thank you. Julia is ageless. In later books she finds love and that is priceless. Silver has been through more than most people can imagine. It's really remarkable how he's remained so pure and sweet. -

I'm so, so glad you like this story. The Enigma Series is the first series I ever wrote, because Silver just wouldn't leave me alone. I had to keep writing him, and I still am. No character I wrote ever got under my skin as much as Silver did. I truly, truly love him.

Charles Bishop it totally evil and unscrupulous. The problem is, until Marcus and Charlie there was no one standing in his way. He's arrogant and conceited and, I think, that will be his downfall in the end.

Glastonbury is one of my favourite places, or at least it used to be. It's so highly commercialised now but there are still some wonderful places and it's not quite like any other place on earth.

No, Angel is all alone in the world. He is lucky to have good friends, and he has more of them just waiting to step up for him. He's not as weak and pathetic as he seems though. He has a lot of things in hand for himself.
